Adobe XD

    The way Adobe XD handles Illustrator files is pure magic, allowing you to create animated sequences in no time. It would help a great deal to understand how Illustrator files are handled in XD before you proceed.   You can open an Illustrator file directly from Adobe XD using File > Open. This is the most ideal way to import Illustrator files in XD without loss of fidelity. Now, in Adobe XD, open the Layers panel. Take a moment to marvel at how Adobe XD automatically created an artboard for the vector graphic. Do you see all the paths and groups associated with the graphic listed in the panel? Navigate through paths and groups in the Layers panel. The selected path or group is displayed in the Design view. Why is the library assets loading extremely slow in XD? It's not like that in any other CC.  I've tried logging in and out but the library is still very slow to load inside the library panel in XD. Anyone? Takes forever!   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

I just launched Adobe XD for the first time in a few months. Performed the updated. After launch, all my older work is gone. I am not sure if I had saved to my computer or the Cloud. Can someone assist me with finding if my files are on my computer (which folder the default save to), or how to find them in the Adobe Cloud?

To: Adobe staffI find a usage problem.Uploading is very slow when the file becomes larger and sometimes freezes.Including the rendering on the browser following the link very slow But I think it may be due to overlap and large work, so it often stops and therefore starts a new program.I am trying to understand that my project may be too big for the program to handle.But I hope there is a better solution for me Remark*I think the auxiliary icons for exporting should not overlap when repeating on other pages. When sharing, they should count as 1 icon to reduce uploads for me and reduce download size when previewing on the browser. Thankyou.

Why blend mode of (luminosity) in Adobe XD doesn't work inside artboard but works outside??But the problem in being outside the artboard is that once you let go of mouse left button it doesn't work again.Also, when using eyedropper tool, it doesn't tell you the current values while you're  hovering over the color.   

During the animation from the hamburger icon to the X icon, all the lines go to the top then snap into the X. When it goes from X to the hamburger icon, the lines move in a smooth animation to their appropriate locations.How do I prevent the lines from moving to the top then snapping down to the X? <The Title was renamed by moderator>

When trying to open a spesific cloud document in Adobe XD.    Reproduction steps:   1) Open the cloud document in the latest version of Adobe XD on Mac   2) A dialog appears: Connecting (stays for 10-15 seconds)   3) A new dialog appears: Unsaved changes - Your document has unsaved changes ... Save as or Discard Local Changes. Select "Discard Local Changes".   4) A new dialog appears: Something went wrong. Close and reopen the document to continue working. (Error 2144). Close document.   5) Press the "Close document" button and try again. The same thing happens.   Questions:  Is there a known workaround for this issue? Anything I can to do wipe the unsaved changes and restore the cloud document to a working state? I tried saving the document as a new cloud document. Hey all so I'm having an issue in Adobe Xd where if I turn down the opacity of an image any lower than 50% it's extremely dark. I'm new to Xd so everything is a little confusing.   I'm using an iPhone X/Xs Max screen size. I placed the background image (a plant) onto the screen frame by creating a rectangle the same size as the screen, I removed "borders" but left the rectangle "filled white". I want the opacity to be about 20%-25% so that text comes out clearly. When I do this, however, the image turns out almost black during the preview mode. Any and all help would be appreciated!

So recently i just reinstalled  XD because a recent Assignment is required using XD, and now the keyboard is not functioning at all, the only working key is the windows key. This is a big problem since i cannot type any text, copy paste and using shortcuts. I hope the solution is founded as soon as possible.Thank You

I'm particularely annoyed placing icons on my frames, since I really need to click or click&drag on some line in the icon, which is very very hard to find.   Ironically my icon has a touch target size of around 40px, but when designing, I need to click on that 2px of a line.   Are there some tricks that make handling icons easier?   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi all,   Hope everyone is health and safe. I am quite new to the Adobe Creative Cloud and really loving the abilities of Xd. However, I'm struggling currently to add activity between mutliple states.  I have created the states in Design, but once I go into Prototype to animate the component and want to choose the state as the destination it does not offer the option. (Mac user)1. When I open my XD files, they flag Open Sans has 'missing font' - I confirm in Adobe Type and the entire font is synced.2. I replace all the flagged missing fonts with Open Sans and keep working.3. I send the file to a colleague and when they open it, the semi-bold becomes bold and some of the letters disappear.(already did that magic of shutting down the computer, unsync and re-sync the font, etc)This is a huge problem when you have a release to do.

My teams account has 2 members.I have created a share link of my xd prototype for a client. When the client comments and Adobe sends me the email notification, does my other team member also receive that email?

Hi everyone!   I'm creating a layout for my company's new website, and I made all of it in a desktop size. But now I need a mobile version of the site and the layout is not being responsive, is there any way to make the mobile version automatically adapt itself or do I need to create an entire mobile layout and a tablet sized one too? And if so, how do I put everything on the code for the programmer to insert on the page code?   {Renamed By MOD}

There was an update to the windows version of XD (28.8.12). This update is not available to Mac (currently 28.7.12).Now if some one edits a cloud based file with the newer version von windows all others editors on Mac are excluded from collaboration. How can that be? When is the release of 28.8.12 available for Max?   This is a serious flaw in XDs core feature of collaborative working.   {Renamed By MOD}

I'm still unable to create a desktop preview to show clients that will scroll. See attached pic. The blank white area below the car racing photo is supposed to have content. Artboard is 1920 x 4132, viewport is 1080. I've tried this on 3 computers in our shop, same result for each (all using Chrome). All artboards are set with vertical scrolling enabled. I get the same result in presentation and user testing preview modes. Please help, I'm unable to send previews to clients with this glitch.<The Title was renamed by moderator in XD>

Can u create a sub menu in a drop down hover menu???When I click on any thing in the hover drop down menu,it does not connect further to any artboard.how does one get that done in XD?

  My cloud document now never ending saving, I try wait, 5 hours and its still saving like that. That is my 6 month of work, and now I cannot do anything with that document. Everytime i edit my file its always never ending saving, and when i close and open it again,it is not save, it still my old save. Anyway my connection is fine, can playing youtube on 4k without buffer.   Oh I forgot, I PAY 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION for use this XD. But customer service is nothing, there is doesnt even have a customer support!!   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi! All my artboards were suddenly messed from the project, when changing from a Router connection from my cellphone, to Wifi from my home. Take a look at the image: the contents of the artboards were all centered in the screen - it's just a mess now... I'm not so desperated because it's in the cloud. [EDIT]: It gave me a lot of work to copy all my project to the current file! I had to delete everthing in the current version(included the componentes - if you don't delete them, it will be duplicated when you paste the content of previous version), open the previous version that was ok, copy in the "prototype" mode(or your links won't work). Then, back to the current version, in "prototype" mode again, paste the content of the previous version. 1 hour to get the version I was working! wtf Adobe! Put an option to select a previous version and set it as the current version!!! I think there's a bug in XD when wifi suddenly is down, and we change to another one like a Router connection

it posible to check that fixed position only for second state? in current version of adobe xd you can only do is fixed the whole statetnx in advance. 

There seems to be a bug where hiding a group will expand said group if one of its layers are selected: create a layer (e.g. rectangle shape) put the layer in a group select the layer collapse the group hide the group   Expected: group remains collapsed Actual: group expands   This is super frustrating because the fact I've hidden the group means I'm not interested in it nor its contents. Salve, io ho da poco iniziato ad usare Adobe xd per la creazione di un sito web. Vorrei che L'header fosse la seconda pagina e non la prima avendo per la prima pagina un'animazione diversa dalle altre. È quindi possibile partire (ad esempio inserendo il banner del menu) dalla seconda pagina di lavoro? Se si, come posso fare?
