Adobe XD

Hello, I want to use the prototyping recording feature. However, when I click the recored button, it flashes as if it recording but the time stays at 00:00 and nothing seems to be actually recorded. Do I have to configure some settings for screen recording? Im using an m1 mac.

I downloaded and installed XD in creative cloud, and a few days later I opened XD and activated a 7-day trial period, installing the plug-in showed that the plug-in is not compatible with the application in the subscription. And could not find the XD in the application

Attempting to export to PDF, XD keeps returning an "Unable to Export" Error for all formats. This error only shows while using an Apple Silicon (M1 Ultra) Chip. Exporting on an i7 iMac does work.  Please advise.  Both systems are up-to-date and running OS 13.4.1

I have bought creative cloud all apps, still I can't find adobe xd to install

Hello everyone,I am a regular user of the Adobe XD program and I have noticed that recent updates to the software are not very rich in terms of evolution. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this and if there is a particular reason behind it.Additionally, I have heard about Adobe's acquisition of Figma and I wonder if this means that Adobe plans to focus on Figma instead of Adobe XD in the future. Does this mean that it's time for XD users to switch to Figma? Or does Adobe plan to continue developing XD in parallel with Figma?I would be grateful for any information or thoughts you may have on this topic.Thank you very much!

Hi Folks,    i latley discovered that you can use Lottie Animations in XD. Yeah! Awsome was my first thought but when  i tryied to share it with my Team-Member whos going to program the APP the exitment got less. As stated here(1) i am aware now that "Lottie will not be available in design specs." But why? Can anyone help me to correct this error? I was supposed to get a 9-month complimentary subscription to Adobe XD, but instead I got the regular 7-day trial. I can´t redo the process since the code for claimng this reward is used already. Is there anyone else that this has happened to, and how did you fix it?Thanks.

Images are distroted or dropped entirely after exported to pdf.

Why is building a column grid so incomprehensibly hard and stupid after so many years of Adobe XD being on the market? Every time I start designing a site that is based on a 12-column grid I face the same problem. I set the number of columns and viewport margins, but once I start playing around with column widths or spacing, everything falls apart. And it would be enough to simply add one option: the width of the container. Setting viewport margins is completely pointless! What people who design pages are interested in is the width of the container in the first place. Having this width, we can easily set ourselves the width of the columns and stick to these values because this is the most important thing in all this. It's gotten to the point where it's virtually impossible to create a grid for a bootstrap design in Adobe Xd, because the values don't add up to the width of the established viewport. I was working for a week on an Adobe XD Cloud file. Designs I created off of hours and hours of work compleeltey gone from the document. As if not been worked on it. Adobe cloud may have corrupted my document. Running. OS Ventura 13.3.1 (a)  Action taken:1. Adobe XD was already running latest Version. 57.0.12.14 x64, Creative cloud Sync 6.5.3.12. Restarted computer3. Opend XD cloud file again. 4. Wen into Adobe XD history log:When I opened a previous date/time in a new window is still shows as of today as if nothing was done/ designed. The document shows over, and over again in all the history the same work during all times. But work was done during those times. Names and assets panels were no longer labeled, components created dissapeared. Art work designed also dissapreared. To action and Installed: AdobeLogs_20230710_111038_265-mac-GS.zxp because this is the second time in a week this has happend. 

I got access to Adobe creative cloud all app with my company employee mail id.But I couldn't find Adobe XD in the app list. But it is showing in subscribed plan. Please suggest me a solution? It's very urgent   <Title renamed by moderator>

Steps:Install 57.0.12.14 x64Open (cloud) file created in previous versions.Character Styles > select custom style > click Editchange color, font size, whateverclose edit panel and open it again (repeating step 3) Result: It is still showing the previous character settings.Expected: I see the changes I made. When I use a file created with the newest version, everything is working fine. Can someone help me?Thanks!   

Hello, I have an issue, when trying to open an online existing .xd file ... error message:"Les services Creative Cloud ne sont pas activés ou ne sont pas disponibles dans votre zone géographique." (from "recents files" or from https://assets.adobe.com,  the same). This file, but not only this one : https://assets.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:EU:b4cfdb1f-d14c-40bd-bc9e-bee99f4dfe6c?view=difile  Thanks a lot for your help,Caroline(France / Mac Os 10.14.5 / Adobe xd 45.1.62.3  x64) 

Libraries / Document assets pane. All the text is cut off. See the following images. It's the latest update version of XD, problem was there before the update. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  Thanks for any help!

I am having this issue with a few files now. We have all of our master assets - character styles, master components, etc. - laid out in the document assets panel. However, all of a sudden now when we try to update a master component, to change the character style - it won't update. Sometimes it will take the change (ie. it will take the font change) other times it simply reverts to what was initially done. We created a master component for the navigation, and when we try to update the master component, it won't change it on any of the instances. This is a HUGE deal because one of the sites we have is extremely large, with many different pages. We can't possibly be expected to go through and manually change each and every single component because the master isn't updating.  Mac Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)XD 57.0.12.14 x64CC Sync 6.5.3.1 Please help!

I get the following error message when I try to open an Adobe XD link that has been shared with me."creative cloud services aren't activated or they aren't offered in your location"Not sure what this is about, but we're an international company that collaborates across countries. location restrictions would be somewhat problematic.

I want to duplicate a component.  Now I'm doing a trick for this;New File - Paste Component - Make Local Component and then Move to Original Document 🙂

I have this row with 5 white boxes where each box have a 1 px border. I grouped all boxes to add a drop shadow to the shape but it's not possible cause there are no shadow available in the properties panel. The only way to make the shadow properties to appear is to double click one of the rows in my group, I'm then able to add shadow to that single element, but that's not what I want. I want the shadow to be applied to the whole list as one element. Is this a bug? Why can't I add a shadow to a grouped element?

Hi, I've created a component that includes a dropdown in the toggle state. The component contains the last sections of information in this mobile layout. I need to add extra length to the background color to contain the content when the component's is in the open toggle state. But when the component is set back to default I now have too much empty background space beneath it. How do I get the background to adjust when the component toggles? I'm including screen caps to further describe what I'd like to do. Thanks for the help!

Hice un prototipo en XD y antes se demoraba mucho en abrir, pero ahora ni jalando el proyecto desde creative cloud, abre. Ya lo reinstale 3 veces. 

Hi all,   When updating my design library/design system in XD, I often get this error in XD the first time I press the "Update" button:     When I press "update" the second time, the library updates successfully and this error doesn't appear anymore. Every update I have to do, I face this issue again.   May I ask what this error means and how to fix it?   <Title renamed by moderator>
