Adobe XD

After latest Xd release when we are trying to make updates to character styles in the assets panel, changes show up in the popover but do not take effect. We need to delete character styles and add updated versions into the assets manually. Please fix this, we have templates setup and use this conventient feature often.

HiI could equally have put this in the photoshop forum, but my issue is that im having trouble giving developes of our website accurare font sizes and exported images.  We're making a site for mobile which fluidly scales down from a desktop version.   Ideally id just like to be able to say, 'that font should be xpx' and the gutters should be 'Xpxs wide' I havent really dont much design for html before, but im guessing this should be possible - what canvas size should i start with to give accurate font sizes and export images from if its goin to be displayed on all phones and screen sizesmany thanks for any help!!Nick

It all happened at around 4-5 pm on June 9th for me. I was literally updating another character style successfully a second ago, and as I moved on to the next one, it stopped working. When I right-click to edit, it randomly updated a few of the many texts, leaving the rest of them unchanged. And if I close it and right-click again, the character style goes back to the previous settings, breaking its connection from the randomly "updated" ones. Next thing I noticed is the master components also stopped working. The child components (not edited, just the raw children without that little dot inside their top left corner) won't update as I update their masters. The reset to master option doesn't even appear as XD "thinks" that they are still the same as the master.  I have been testing the files ever since and ruled out the following possible factors to the best of my abilities:XD file: tested the file in question, as well as many other previously healthy files. Hi there,I'm experiencing a thing that never happened before on XD.I duplicated a XD project to change a font and some colors without losing the original version.I had all my style and components set and I started changin some fonts for H1 title and colors for footer. First I highlighted the titles on canvas, then changed the typography and it was ok.I did the same for other titles and text and nothing changed at all. Same with the footer color. XD recognizes the elements where a feature is applied but then it doesn't change the. It would be a nightmare to edit one piece at the time, so I'm asking if you ever had this problem and how did you fix it. I cant change text while working in xd after some time, I need to restart the app and continue, how to sort out this issue. 

Hi. I want to have a horizontal scrolling toolbar within a vertically fixed position header. When I apply “fixed position” to the header, the horizontal scroll stops working (because the header block is “fixed”). If I “unfix” the toolbar, then it scrolls off of the page when scrolling vertically. So… how do I make the toolbar “fixed” vertically, but still maintain a horizontal scroll? There is probably an easy solution, but I can’t think of it. Thanks

So for example I create a graph chart with multiple chart boxes and distances.Lets say the chart bars are distanced 3 px apart.  When I drag all of the objects and resize the image while holding shift, it changes all of the distances.  So when if I start with bars distanced 3px apart and drag and resize the whole thing, some of the bar distances become 1px apart, 2px apart, etc.  WHY???? How do I resize multiple objects while keeping the proportions and distances?   Attached below images, are in the situation I create a "bar chart" and I select the 2nd bar chart drag and select and shrink it while holding the shift, then it turns out like the one very below where the distances are all messed up  

Made an art board a home for prototype without linking it to anyother boards and tried creating a link to share it and got an error 2081:5 (I have no idea what that means). Adobe XD is my main driver for my UX/UI work and I have done this many times in the past and never had this issue.

Hello, all. I'm trying to create my first hamburger dropdown in XD. I've hidden the Services section behind the sections above it (nav, Home, and About Us sections.) Only Services should be active as dropdown on click, however, when dropdown is hidden, because of its length I think, clicking on the logo, Home, and About Us triggers the dropdown, which I don’t want. Any ideas how I can prevent this? I'm including screenshots of Home screen, overlay, and the specific screens in XD with states. Thank you! 

Hi,   When using a component in a repeat grid dragging and dropping a text file onto a text field contained within the repeated component doesn't update the textfields:   Expected behaviour: - The textfield in each of the repeated components should update to reflect the data   Actual behaviour: - Only the (selected) textfield in the selected component instance updates   Operating system: Mac XD Version: Latest   Any ideas? I've opened a support ticket to help with the issue of not seeing Adobe XD in my Creative Center account. My organization's IT administrator has allowed all Adobe apps on my account, and I can clearly see that Adobe XD is part of my existing allowed apps (within my Adobe account profile section).My operating system is MacOS 13.4.Any help is greatly appretiated. So, I have an artboard that shows up like a popup using the overlay function. On the preview page, if I've scrolled down, the popup shows up at the wrong place on the page. I suspect that the overlay function uses an absolute position on the screen with hardcoded distances from TOP and LEFT, but if the Preview is scrolled, then those values (or rather the TOP value) should change.Hope that makes any sense : )

I was attempting to vote to show my solidarity with the very many people who would like to see a dark mode in Adobe XD, but the uservoice for XD is in read only. I had some issues getting XD running correctly and just got finished speaking with Adobe tech support and they directed me to submit bugs and feature requests to uservoice. After informing them uservoice is in read only mode and no longer in use, I was given this url https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html Selecting XD as the product in the Feature Request and Bug Report Submission Form links to the read only uservoice directing feedback here. If feedback and bug reports are supposed to be gathered in the Support Community, the link should not go to uservoice and should come to this forum directly. The fact that the uservoice page is in read only mode and that it has taken 6+ years to implement dark mode when every other Adobe app I have used only comes in dark mode gives me little confidence in the co

I'm trying to link a vector graphic, created in Illustrator from my creative cloud assets, to a project in XD, but the font rendering is lost when the graphic is linked. I would expect the illustrator file to link without issue as it should contain vector graphics information. I'm guessing I'm supposed to bake the font to a vector rendering it much more difficult to change as the font tools in illustrator will no longer work once the text is made into a path. The other issue I have is I can't change the font that's missing in the document assets panel. I tried right clicking the missing font, but the dropdown to chose a replacement font is completely blank. Am I missing something or is it not possible to fix a missing font in a linked Illustrator file?  

Adobe XD "you're disconnected. Check your internet connection and try again". And i m comnned to the internet. I wanted create links to share but this is showing. I have reinstall the application log out of it but the ishu is not resolved plz help.

In Adobe XD text fields regulary stop working. I can't edit / paste / delete text in those inputs fields anymore. Only closing all Adobe XD windows and restarting the app will fix the problem. This bug happens every day, multiple times   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

When I get "@ mentioned " in a shared XD prototype that has been shared with me, I do not get an email notifying me of being tagged. I have allowed all emails in the preferences. I can see the notification inside the Cloud desktop app but I don't always have the app open. Why do I not get an email for this? I get an email if I am the one sharing a prototype of any comments or actions happening so why not when I'm specifically tagged? Just because I am not the one sharing?

Is there a way to remove unused components/font styles in XD, similar to removing unused swatches in INDD?

hi, is there a way to shae interactive xd presentaion offline? i have shared a link saved on cloud. my client (witout adobe app) requested interactive xd presntation that will work offline. export as pdf nor record prototype will not work since it's interactive with video files and the client wan;t to control the presentation.   appriciate your advice, thanks Hila   <Title renamed by moderator>
