After Effects

Bonjour, je possède After Effects 24.5.0. Lorsque je souhaite effacer un élément sur une vidéo (3 secondes) je reçois deux messages d'erreur :- After Effects (avertissement) : Impossible de créer le fichier de remplissagepuis,- After Effects (avertissement) : Erreur de remplissage basé sur le contenu : échec de l'initialisation. J'ai bien masqué mon élément avec un masque en mode soustraction.J'ai environ 200 Go de libre sur mon disque dur. La mémoire cache est vidée. Merci de votre aide ! 

I need to create the effect in this video on a static image of watercolor ombre stripes. I can't figure it out as I am a beginner with After Effects. Can someone tell me how? Or should I hire someone to do it? Thank you!!

so i need the smoke loop to match up in after effects - im using fractal noise and rising smoke i have used ctrl shift d to split a layer but want same frames to match, can i flip the layer ... im sure i done this befoe but jsut cant remember how... any ideas please 

Hello everyone, My name is Maxence. I'm writing to you because I have a question about an effect I saw in a video. After watching a tweet from Euro 2024 that included a video with a very nice effect, I'm wondering how to create it myself using the software After Effects. I am attaching the link to the tweet so you can see the effect in question. The effect starts at 4 seconds and ends at 7 seconds in the video. Im tryring to make a 3d logo from .ai file. Every path is on different layer on illustrator. Created shapes from vector layer in after effects, but once I make the layer 3d the C becomes wireframe, all other letters are fine. Using cinema 4D renderer. Any Ideas 

Hi Everybody, I set texture disc to the particle type from particle square because I wanted to rotate the particles, but now they're super tiny. The particle 'star' for sparkles I'm sourcing is like 1800x1800 and it shows up super tiny. How do I scale these particles? I don't see a setting to do this in the drop down.  

Brand new to animating and just getting started with After Effects. I had been using Adobe Fresco because it was so easy for me with no experience to make decent animation with. However, I would like the animations to look more pro. https://youtu.be/Ye3hNF7bRjI?si=gyoAPOjoO_13ELK3 This channel has a certain style where there is this dreamy look like all of his animations are in late afternoon summer sun or dusk. I saw one of his early animations and I believe this glowy atmospheric effect is applied towards the end of the project (after it has already been colored and animated). How is this done? What is this effect even called (so I can look up tutorials)? Is there  such thing as a plugin that could be used to apply this effect? Any help to get pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!  

Hi, I'm a beginner After Effects editor who just switched over from Davinci Resolve. I have encountered this problem recently where for some reason the current time indicator (the red line) stops a few seconds after the video starts playing and then continues to play in a loop from the start. It plays for about 2 seconds before looping again.  I am not sure how to fix this problem as I have tried to purge all memory and disk cache and I have also played around with the preview settings in the preview panel. An example is attached.

Example This has been happening ever since like last week or 2 weeks. Now it’s happening again and idk why it’s like that. It either does this (video link), when I export it and watch the edit. It like glitches like that and/or reverse for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. I always clean my memory & cache, turn off my hardware thingy, etc. It still glitch.

Hi all, I typically don't post here for help and consider myself pretty capable of solving these issues on my own but this one has me stumped. At any given moment in a session After Effects will crash, start up, placing keyframes, applying effects, and even being idle. The most recent crash has yielded this error message:  I've dealt with multi crashes in the past, but this one is unique because after effects will consistantly give me the option to save my project prior to closing. I don't have any of the crash dumps but I'm sure I could force one if needed.My computer specs are:Windows 11GPU: RTX 4090CPU: Intel i(-14900KRAM: 64GBsMotherboard: PRIME Z790-P WIFI D4Thanks in advance for your help.

In classic form, Adobe adds terrific new features to After Effects with no documentation, no tutorials, nothing intuitive in the feature, but leaving its long-time devoted users frustrated and head shaking. I want to make some Bar Graphs and line graphs, but right now it's faster for me to build everything from scratch. PLEASE post up a quick tutorial or something to get us started. Thanks if you actually read this Adobe.  

...And have it look EXACTLY the same?OK so now that i finally figured out how to Export HDR files from After Effects I need to know how to make it match and actually look the same. I have done exhaustive testing and every color space and setting i try can't replicate the same video.The goal here is be able to roundtrip video out of premiere and into after effects and back into premiere and have it look the same. Does anyone in the community or at Adobe know how to accomplish this? First basic test is this: In Premiere create a 4K UHD sequence with 2100 HLG color space.Create Bars and Tone 2100 HLG color spaceExport as Prores 4444 2100 HLGI can import that file back into premiere and it has identical output levels as the source bars.So now Import that file into after effects and pick the proper HLG color space that matches Premiere's 2100 HLG (I dont know, i try them all and none work?, which one is it supposed to be?)Of course in a normal project you would modify the vid

Apologies for this noob question.Comp 1, I created a beam pattern from a solid layer starting from one end and finishing to another. After which I created a circle as the "ripple" effect from the beam. Comp 2, I imported Comp 1, duplicated it into two instances and then offset with a rotation. However, the solid layer of the comps are showing up as a background. Such that it is covering the other Comps from showing through. How do I make the solid layers transparent so only these beams and circles from each comp show up and not be covered by the solid layer underneath? TIA.

Photoshop's working color space is set to Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4.  Reimport: After editing, I reimport the Photoshop file back into After Effects.Issue:When I import the Photoshop file into After Effects the colors of the photoshop layer match perfectly with the video footage (Rec.709 Lut applied).However, when I apply the Profile Converter effect to the photoshop layer (Input: Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4, Output: S-Gamut3.Cine/

Hi all!  I have this expression entered for a simple number counter and it is working for any numbers from 0-199 but once it gets to 200 it changes to 20. From 200 to the number I want (332) it periodically changes the numbers to be two digits instead of three.  Here is the expression I have: effect("Slider Control")("Slider").value.toFixed(0) It will jump from this: To this:Then back to this: Is there any way for it to count normally or is this a bug from the new AE update?

Okay so I was making an edit on after effect but when I went to render it, it freezed at one specific point and it kept doing this. So, I went to that specific point to see if i could pinpoint the problem. I didn't really see any issues so I just assumed it was the motion tile so I removed all the motion tiles in the edit and replaced it with CC Repetile. All the other clips seem to render fine except for this one, I removed all effects all keyframes, but when I do this for some reason it just makes the entire clip blank but it still renders  These are all the keyframes, effects ive used in this clip. Im currently on a macbook pro which is like 2013, and the RAM is 8gb if you need any more information please just let me know I dont know why it keeps freezing at this point

Hi. I am having an issue when trying to render my Ae project with C4D renderer. It is a 5 sec simple text animation yet when I start the render the rendering freezes at 2% and I cannot quit Ae without restarting the computer. I tried rendering with Media Encoder and encountered the same issue. Sometimes I cannot even add the project to the queue because it keeps unsuccessfully loading it. My Ae verision is 22.6 and my C4D is R25. Here are my system specifications. Please help to resolve this to be able to keep working. Thanks in advance. 

Hello. I have this issue where my footage has these vertical black lines when i zoom in, which are much more noticable after it has been rendered.  I really dont know what can be causing. It was recorded with a broadcast camera, Pro Res 422, 50p.  Thank you. 

Hola, hace poco me compré la RTX 3060 de 12gb, ya instalé todos los drivers, y el nvidia Studio, y pongo la configuración de After effects para que renderice con la GPU, pero cuando me meto en el administrador de tareas aparece que está trabajando a full la CPU y la GPU apenas y se mueve, no sé si estoy configurando algo mal, o debo seleccionar alguna opción, o si así es. Tengo la duda porque cuando exporto en premiere pro, o Davinci, sí utiliza toda la potencia de la GPU, pero en After no.  

When I use 3D objects in this project, I for some reason have a light source and shadows in my composition and I haven't added any lights of my own.As you can see in the images it looks really bad when trying to rotate and objects. And it just seems to happen to just this project.  As you can see this issue does not occur in other projects so I think there's something wrong with my original project.Why is it all of the sudden casting a shadow? Is there a way to remove this wierd lighting?
