After Effects

Hello everybody  I'm here to ask your help to export traking data of mocha AE to After effet. I don't understand why but the button to export doesn't appaire on my screen. I have the lasted After effect. Please i have need this soon as possible.  Thanks  I leave 2 screenshots to illustrate my problem

When i go into element 3d the physical folder is missing ? Any fix?

Soo apparently I've been having this bug for around a week, it was fixed after I updated my driver and it came back i don't know why. Whenever I open my file project, it works fine for around 1-2 minutes and then the preview freezes on a random frame. Either I hide or delete my layers, it will just show me that single frame. I can delete this composition and create a new one, it will still show me that frame. Check the video please...I've seen billions of youtube tutorials, went on reddit, nothing helped. I've reinstalled same stuff. PC specs are fine 16gb ram processator Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHzWindows 11 

HiIm new to Cinema 4D.Im using the AE 3d Camera tracker to place an extruded tekst from Cinema 4d. I've done the following:Tracked camera in AE, made ground plane, tekst and camera in AE. Exported to C4D. Importet back in AE.In C4D i've extruded the tekst, set up lights, and a plane to catche the shadow, and appalyed a texture to text.Added a render tag for the extrusion with it in buffer 1 and made multipass for objectbuffer and shadow.Back in AE i've made dublicates of the C4D file and used multipass with track matte and luma matte to isolate the text and the shadows. Ive also tryed with just one track matte and multiply mode for the shadow. Same result.When I render it out it the shadows, tekst and plane flickers in and out (see link https://youtu.be/qpG-N-87W9I)Am I doing it wrong or is there some other problem?

How to bake shape modification (zigzag, wiggle form and etc)?Maybe the After Effects developers will give me a hint so that I understand how these functions affect the path shape and how I can access them in order to transform the shape's path and it looked like with a modifier, but without it

Whenever I create a mask in After Effects, it generates a thin white line where my mask border occured in preview. It also shows up in the renders. This is at full size render. How do I remove this line? 

I got Google Drive running upon system boot. When attempting to start AE, it goes straight into a perma-freeze. After quitting the GD app, AE can be started without a hickup.After AE started, GD can be started and used again without issues whatsoever. This is repeatable and a bit unfortunate since I'm using Google Drive all the time for my work. 🙄 It's been happening since about half a year now, persisting over several app iterations by both companies. Specs: Win 10 Pro, 22H2, build 19045.3393 – Google Drive 80.0.1.0 – RTX 3090 at driver 536.23

Is there a quick keyboard shortcut that will immediately toggle a layer to 50% opacity (and back)? I would like to find a faster shortcut than hitting 'T,' and then dragging the opacity amount to the left with my cursor. The reason is because I do a lot of UX animation work where I am frequently aligning layers with reference layers underneath. Thanks! -Shaun

Hello,I've been using After Effects for about 7 months now, and this problem just started occurring last week, I though I fixed it with getting a new graphics card but still, the problem persist.I use Magic Bullet Looks, and it seems that the problem comes up when that effect is enabled, I tried upgrading from cc 2018 to cc 2019, i reinstalled MB Looks, but still the problem is here.I get this error message. Now I'm not sure why it keeps coming up as I upgraded from a 2gb GPU to a 6gb GPU. Nobody I've seen seems to be having this problem as well but if any of you know a solution to why this is happening then the help would be much appreciated.By the way, clicking "Render Effects Using Software Only" does not fix the issue and actually ruined the project I was working on for the past 4 days. Ignoring it just brings up the error message again when you try and reload another frame.For the sake of the question, my specs are:AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3 GHz 8-Core ProcessorMSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM

When working with a timeline it's nice to zoom in and out using the pinch in/out gesture on a trackpad. But for some reason after enabling the Graph Editor the pinch in/out gesture stops working there which is a bit frustrating. "Alt + scroll mouse wheel up/down"   to zoom in/out works fine in both panels though.  TimelineGraph EditorPinch in/out on a trackpad✅❌Alt + scroll mouse wheel up/down✅✅ 

Whenever I export my video it just exports colored bars even though when I scrub through the .mov file in AE 2020 it scrubs fine. What am I doing wrong... See colored bars at bottom, note no audio comes through either when I try and play the file in the rendered version. I've also tried the YouTube Format with no success.... all footage shot on an iphone     

I often do animations using pre-comps, hold keyframes and time-remapping.  Lately this is incredibly buggy, and frames are not holding, making this technique I've used for over a decade unworkable.  I'm using v 22.4 on a Mac, and I've purged the cache repeatedly with no difference.

Does anyone know how I can get a subtle stabilization In my videos?For example, if someone was moving their head around it would only do like 50% of the full motion.I have already tried mocha ae, mocha pro, and the default tracker that comes with after effects.I thought it might be a plugin where it follows the motion of the video so it will look subtle, but I can't find anything on that.If anyone has a solution please let me know, thank you!

Having issues importing Photoshop files into After Effects as comps in AE 2022. I can import them as footage, but not as a comp of any kind.  I get the mac "beach ball of death" and have to do a force quit. Is anyone else having this issue? Reinstalled AE and PS.  Restarted multiple times.  Ended up going back to the older version.Thoughts?

Hello Community, I am trying to get rid of this green outline. Could anyone give me any tips on how to? I used Mocha to make the motion tracking of the screen. I also used keylight asvanced spill suppressor and it kind of helped the noise but not to get rid off that outline.

Hi, I am using the original After Effects version 23.3.0, i have experienced this problem in several versions. Now it s getting really annoying and i decided to write about this problem. I couldn t find anything on the internet. My problem is, while trying to create a text, when i start typing something, nothing appears on the screen and the name of the text in the source does not change. (As if my keyboard is disabled) When i try to write something, it shows the "〈empty text layer〉" action below. . I could only solve this problem in this way: writing what i wanted to write on a note paper, copying it and pasting it into the text in after effects... Now i want to write normally, not by copying and pasting, i hope u can help me solve this problem :3▻The computer I use: 16GB MacOS Sonoma with M3 chip, released in 2021 iMac

Hello all, I am writing this because I have been unable to render any videos that I have on After Effects and Media Encoder for the last couple of hours. I already cleared the media cache and restarted my windows machine but that doesn't seem to help. If any more knowlegeable people would be able to help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi friends, I am very new to after effects and I am trying to follow a tutorial. I am simply trying to do the action in 12:05 - 12:45 of this youtube video which is just to change the position and size of the shape in only the first keyframe in the "path" section. However, it doesn't work for me at all. The frame never remains selected and the desired effect is not occuring. I have attached a few second clip of what happens when I try. I am doing exactly what the tutorial is doing and its not working. Also the I disappears when it's off screen while his still shows. What can I do to remedy these issues?

Hi,   (also posted in beta forum, sorry if double but hoping to maximize attention and priority) We've noticed a critical bug in Essential Graphics. The text is not updating outside of the EG comps when it's changed in the source. It updates the color but not the font size or type or other aspects. This problem wasn't present in v23 but seems to be in 24.x all the way up to this beta.   Steps to reproduce: - Create comp with text layer with any formatting. - Promote 'source text' in Essential Graphics of that comp. - Make another comp and put that setup comp in it. - Change the EG text to something else or link it to a new source text of a text layer. - Change the font type and size inside the setup comp. - The updates are not reflected outside in the other comp.   This has been a workflow breaking issue for us. Project made in 23 are completely broken and are only fixable by going to every place where the text has been adjusted and re-read from primary comp then apply t

Please note: I am aware of the Transform > Rotation on every layer but that simply doesn't work in this instance.  I am trying to make two formats [Landscape and Portrait] for export. To achieve the Portrait format, I am trying to rotate the background layer 90°. It should be simple to do- right?? But I  cannot rotate the layer 90° to work in Portrait mode and I can use some help. ***I can do this for all the other layers though- just not the 'star'  I bought an After Effects template from Motion Array and the layer appears to have been made procedurally [see attached] and therefore cannot be rotated 90°. In the Layer Transform tab, I'll rotate it 90° and nothing happens. I've also tried the Rotation Tool [W] and that doesn't work. How do I do a simple rotation??Below is a snapshot of the layer I am trying to rotate 90° to work in Vertical format. I tried 3 different ways to rotate this layer without any success. Was able to open and work with exr the other day... after zipping the porject folder for archove, we have a few more tweaks to make, so unzipped anf now the exr sequences won't appear and get warning popup... This popup is from a test as file to see if i can at least import a sequence into a clean blank slate... but no.  

I use a Macbook and want to use shortcuts in After Effects, but I keep encountering this issue... for example, when I press the shortcut H, it switches to the Hand tool but at the same time, it also displays the text bar below, and if I press V (selection tool), it shows as HA. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Please help me.   Title edited by Mod.  

I am using after effect ver24.3.When I have many shapes or rectangles in one shape layer, I often want to click on each one to see which shape belongs to which item.If multiple shapes are in the same layer and I try to select one shape from among multiple shapes in the composition window, I will not be able to select them separately.In order to find a certain shape among multiple shapes, it is difficult to click on each shape item one by one, so I would like to be able to find it more easily.For example, is there a shortcut key for selecting the next item for items in the same hierarchy in the same layer?I would like to know if there is a better solution.
