Animate

I can't use the tools of type of bones, freeze junctions and so. The program is updated and I can't follow the jellyfish starting tutorial, as I do not have these options available. What can I do?

Hey,I'm a new user to Adobe Animate, making really simple animation, no coding or scripting, just using the motion tween options and masks. I tried exporting the project with the "Export Video/Media" option using the format H.264, yet I keep getting this error:"Adobe Media Encoder failed to encode with the following exception : TypeError: null is not an object"I succeeded exporting that way other projects in the past. What could be the issue?Please help.Thank you!

 Missing Feature in Animate Library  I think we can have.when selecting any symbol please show list of symbol that are placed inside it.it makes it way easier and efficient, when we move symbols from project to another,Sometimes we use similar symbols inside multiple different assets and when we drag the ( main assets )  it gives the warning of pre-existing symbols.This feature will allow us to skip this step, and will avoid creating more symbols or duplicates keep library clean, this also applies when using cc libraries not just local libraries  Also would be great idea to have an  extra option in the menu where we choose to delete only the symbol, or the symbols existing inside it.

Hi, I'm trying to create a branded post, with a masked video as part of it, for a client. The text has to be editable for them and they have Adobe CC. What do people use for this? After effects? Something simpler? Any ideas welcome, before I disappear down the rabbit hole. Cheers Jamie

whenever i export my video to an mov and encode it to an mp4, the camera movements and all that just don't appear and are just gone. anyone have a solution to this that isn't involving me making an image sequence?also i use the latest version of adobe animate if that helps

Hello, i have a graphic symbol consisting of 16 frames that i would like to export onto a spritesheet. However when i do so only the first 2  frames show up on the exported Spritesheet. How do i go about this without losing much quality of the frames/graphic? if someone could help id be very grateful.Kind Regards,Jamie

WHEN I TEST A MOVIE INSIDE ANIMATE CC, ALL IT DOES IS LET ME WAIT. does anyone know if it's possible to export an animate movie as a link to a url? No button used, the actual movie is a link. So the viewer on social media can watch the looped movie and click on the movie at anytime and be routed to a url 

Hello all, I'm more a designer/animator than a programmer, but interactivity is a must on most of my projects, and I'm quite dumb or not developer organized. And I would like to receive some ideas and suggestions.  I'm working in a canvas project with a lot of images, and I would like to test my programming without exporting the same images every time to test some programming changes or new functions, I'm sure there must be better ways to work in the script without having to export the images all the time in order to test the changes in a more agile way, but I don't know which ones.  Any ideas, threads, or suggestions are super appreciatedThanks!

Hi everyone!I'm very new to Adobe Animate and have watching dozens of tutorials on it. But I've got a problem. When there's no keyframes being made, my vector character works fine. But when I go to add keyframes and scrub time, and then try to actually animate the character, the part I moved stays but the rest of the character disappears. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there's something wrong with my character, I'm just not sure. I started my 7-day free trial period yesterday and I want to use that time to learn this program before deciding whether or not this is the program for me. Any help is definitely appreciated! Recently when I've been trying to export my Adobe Animate projects, they've been looking just fine. But when I watch them in like a different app (for example trying to post them on YouTube), the size looks way smaller than it should be, and the quality looks crappy. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Hello everyone,  I am a character animator currently struggling with animate (2D, Symbols). To start, I will say this is the newest update of animate.  I was hoping someone here might be able to help out with this trechorous issue since I can't really find anything on google exactly like this weird encounter.  I am inside of a symbol trying to create a new hand symbol and it worked hours ago but ALL of a sudden, now it is deciding to dissapear or when I connect the lines fill (as if it is set to "paint fills" and "object mode") the werid part is object mode is off and it is set to "normal" so I am unsure of what is happening.  Here is a screenshot of my issue:  and a photo of my properties panel:  Thanks in advance for any help.    

I've been working on this animation for almost a year now, as i've continued i've noticed more and more instability on animates part. The latest issue i'm having is a real annoying one. I have swatches saves into 50 or so folders in my swatches panel. But for about a month now, if i click on one of those swatches to sample the color, the expected behaviour is that my brush will pick up that color. What ends up happening about half the time is that i will select something like a light blue, and suddenly my brush is hot pink. It's seriously slowed down my workflow. Any ideas?EDIT: while attempting to troubleshoot this i've noticed that what seems to be happening is that while pulling from my custom swatches, animate will apparently try and sample from the default swatches at the top of the list, as if they were on the screen and under my custom swatches. I've added a short video below showing the issue

Hello,I'm using the textinput Component, and the text is very small on a Mac.  Watching videos on using the CSS Component, I successfully made a test application to use a styles.css file in conjunction with the CSS Component.  When I do the same in my main application (it is very large and I cannot post it for client-security reasons), I get this error: Uncaught TypeError: $.anwidget is not a functionat css.js?1678401983835:3:7at css.js?1678401983835:15:3 The moment I remove the CSS Component from the Stage and re-test the application, the error is not generated. I verified in the assets subfolder that my styles.css file is published there and present. Looking at another Discussion's suggestions, I also went into components\ui\source subfolder and made css.js to be Read Only.  That didn't resolve it. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?  Thank you for any help.

It's the first time i'm trying to use Sidecar, i own an iPad Pro and thought i'd use it as a tablet to draw in Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator... I red that I can use Sidecar to link my Mac Mini and my iPad Pro, which seems to work for some apps, but definetly doesnt for any of the Adobe apps i tried. Any ideas ? Have a nice day

Hello all I hope everyone is well. While working on a file in Animate cc ,latest version, sometimes a message appears. "The file you are working on can not be found re-save under different name not to lose data" I literally have the folder open on the desktop and see my file go POOF! As if the application decided to delete it. Please help if you can. I love animate but how can I work like this. Thank you so much for any help 

Hello, I am trying to code a button so that when the mouse hovers over, it changes color, and then when you click it changes again.  Right now I have the button built with three frames, but when I do the test animation and hover over the button it only flashes for an instance. When I click it flashes the three frames, but what I'd like is for it to click and hold on the third frame. The button is called "upgrade_now" - any help or guidance on the code for this would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I'm just getting started with the suite and trying to follow the tutorials, in Animator at the moment, but the included video is -tiny- on my screen, and it's too small for me to actually see what's going on.  Is there a way to zoom or pause it?  I can't seem to find one, and I didn't see one in the Help system when I looked.

I have run into a problem that is super annoying and need help. Every time I hit Ctrl-Z to many times it seems glitch out and start erasing the brush strokes that I draw but some how the brush strokes are still there. Here is a video (I'm sorry if there is any lag).Please help.

my adobe animate its not working for audios 😞 im select stream and another etc but its still not working theres only play when im testing my animations its doesnt work from layers and timeline, what am i gonna do? pls help :((((

During JSFL encoding, this error window comes up when opening FLA produced with AS2 encoding. is there a way to turn this off with JSFL encoding?
