Animate

This bug on Windows 10 affects all versions of Animate since 2020. It always appears when working with documents that have a large enough number of items in the library to make a scrollbar appear. I filed a bug report, but I would like to know if other users have seen it, because it may also appear on macOS versions. Steps to reproduce bug:1. Open a first Animate document that includes enough elements to make a scrollbar appear2. Open in another tab a second Animate document that includes enough elements to make also a scrollbar appear3. Switch back to first document, and then try to go to the bottom of the library list Results:The scrollbar does not resize (it seems to keep the height of the scrollbar of the library of the previous document), and it is no longer possible to go down to the bottom of the list. See the scroll bar on this picture; you can't go any lower, while there are normally items:Expected results:It's possible to scroll the library element li

Is it possible to build a swipe-able carousel in Adobe Animate like on Instagram? So if you swiped the next slide into the canvas it starts to play? And if you swipe it out of the canvas the animation resets? I build a workaround with a on click event. See this example  Would this be possible with createJS. That is the Javascript library Adobe Animate uses I thought.

I have a background image that fills the browser window and is responsive in width when the browser window is resized. I've achieved this by using "stretch to fit" in the publish settings. What I'm stuck on is having a logo on top of the background image that is also responsive and shifts when the browser window is resized. For example, the logo sits at the top right of the browser and when resizing the width and height of the browser window I'd like it to remain at the top right. Currently when the browser window is less than the width of the stage I lose the logo.Is their a way of doing this purley using JS and not having to use CSS?

sometimes whenever I'm drawing with the fluid brush toolmy drawings get filled in and are irreversible making me lose progress and have to redo the drawing againi don't know why the brush is doing that, also sometimes the lines I draw get deleted when I finish the line

Hey,I have the latest version of Adobe Animate and have slowly been working on a rough sketch for an animated music video for the past few months.  Tonight I opened up Animate and didn't see it in my recent files, so I tried File-Open Recent instead. It was there, so I clicked on it. An error message popped up that said "File doesn't exist - it will be removed from your lists" and now I can't find it anywhere. It doesn't appear in any drive or in the trash folder. Curiously, I can't find any recover files for it - usually if the program crashes it creates a recover file of it. I'm the only one that uses my computer, and I definitely didn't delete all trace of this file. Does anyone have any insight into what's going on? Is there any way I can get my file back?Thank you for your help!

Hi, I have an interactive touchscreen with 7 screens. L'ordinateur PC qui la reçoit affiche une fenêtre indiquant une mise à jour du flash player indispensable, et impossible de faire cette mise à jour. Normalement un .exe ne nécessite pas de Player ni de navigateur... quelqu'un connait-il le problème et surtout la façon de le résoudre ???? urgentMerci à tous.

Hello! I have been working on an animation in adobe animate 2022. When I try to retrieve the file I click on my recents but the file that I have been working on was not there. To retrieve my file I clicked open but could not click into my file. A tab popped up informing me of a file corruption, sometimes this occurs, but all I have to do is restart the application but this time when I restarted Adobe animate I could not access the file I have been working on for so long. The file is called roughbody.flaI worked on it yesterday 15:13. I think there has been an attempt to recover this file that is why there is another file called RECOVER_roughbody.fla. I believe this is also my file. I hope this makes sense. If anyone knows how to help me retrieve this file please do get in touch.  Thank you,Bili

How do I Load a external image in animate cc with javascript?I'm developing a point and click game with multiple levels. When one level ends I need to change the images.Can't really use library because will be a lot of images.

HelloSo, I have a question. I want to make my animation in 60fps, sync with a music, which is about 4 ~ 5 minutes long. I calculated the amount of frames needed and it's about over 17000 frames. Can somebody demonstrate how to extend the 16000 frames limit in one FLA? Without lowering the fps please? I already read some of the methods that were being discussed but a lot left me even more confused. (If you could reply as a video or images, I will be very grateful.)

Dear AllI have a strange problem I just uploaded my files to a web server index.html,images folder & index.jsand when I load the page all I get is a blue screen with no images or animations.Console shows no error ar all files all in public html general folder.Images in images folder all there and Js seems all ok .Works fine in animate with no errors.Any help appreciated.Peter

Hi!We got a strange problem, some of our FLA files stored on readonly smb share. While we try to open  FLA from readonly disk -  we got error message.After the copying  files on local disk or read-write share everything open fine.Is there any solution? Adobe Animate 22.0.6Windows 10 

I'm using the classic brush tool to draw and anímate. I’ve never had problema with it, but since the last update the brush doesn't work properly. The line is inconsistent and I have to keep redrawing over each stoke because the line doesn't appear most of the times. I'm devastated as it doest allow me to work at a normal speed. It’s very frustrating. If I could I would go back to the previous version (one week ago) but now I'm stuck with this. I would most grateful if you could please look into this so it can be fixed soon. By the way, I’m using a brand new mac computer (just about 4 months old, with plenty of capacity and speed) I didn’t have any issue until the last update. Thanks!

I've had issues exporting my animation, resulting in Adobe Animate crashing. Turns out, Animate makes a temporary video before it sends it to Media Encoder. Depending on your Animation's length, framerate, and resolution, this temporary video can be 10's or even 100's of gigabytes! Furthermore, there is no built in option to set this temporary video location other than your system drive. System drives with inadaquate space will result in Animate having problems, including crashing. Luckily, there's a solution to this on MacOS, which is similar to the solution for Windows using a symbolic link. A symbolic link, or symlink, allows you to create a file that points to another directory, even on another drive. Since Animate's temporary folder lives on the system drive, we can make a symlink to it on another drive, and Animate will never know the difference.  Just be aware before you start, you are about to alter an important path on your file system and write d

how do you get it its not on the side of the setting with the brush tool

I quite literally have 5 seconds of frames, most of which are the same, and a wav file. It lags at frame 3.I've provided a video, also. I have the GPU hardware acceloration, and have allocated space to Adobe. My canvas is 1920 by 1080, but shrinking it doesn't work, so that's not it. Removing frames doesn't do anything significant. And it's only on frame 3. If only Harmony wasn't somehow MORE expensive.

Always have one of those simple questions starting out! When I drag and drop a static background, it replaces Layer_1 rather than adding a new asset layer. What is going on?

Everytime I select a layer in animate it auto selects every object in the layer. Not sure why this exists. Can I turn that on or off? I feel this way often using Adobe tools. I just want to change layers and then select a tool and use that tool in the layer. Photoshop had a nice shortcut control D or shift d with deselected everything. Now with the selection tool if I click on the background object ( or a space that should be empty in my selected layer) it then switches layers on me. Not sure why that exists. Can I turn that on or off?

Hi everyone.. i imported pngseq files on animate. I have specified frames that start and end loop in some frames. ==========================================loop start frame -> if(!this.loopsPlayed){         this.loopsPlayed = 0; loop end frame -> this.loopsplayed ++;     if(this.loopsplayed == 5){          this.loopsplayed = 0;          return;} else {          this.gotoandplay(8);}==========================================My question is,I want to write a script that exits the loop after playing only for a specified amount of time(3min, 9min, 10min...), not counting up. plz help me.
