Mark Itskowitch made a series of Animate tutorials for this page, but it seems the tutorial about movie clips is missing. I am curious where the tutorial is, as I cannot find it on any tutorial pages. Do any of you know where it is?

Hey all. I need some help.As a lot of us know, the undo hotkey is a staple for creatives, and for me, it's been so much so that I even have an input for Ctrl + Z on my pen.Unfortunately, Animate doesn't seem to like this, and instead always defaults to inputting a right-click instead of the desired undo action.Has anyone else run into this problem?Does anyone have a fix for this?I have tried using both a 2nd Gen Bamboo Ink smart stylus as well as the integrated pen that I use with my Lenovo Yoga 9i. Any help on the subject would be appreciated.

I have an object that acts as a background image with nested animations that I'd like to be responsive to fit the total width of the viewport if the user resizes the browser window while keeping the width and height aspect ratio.I presume this would be done with scaleX and scaleY but I'm not sure how to convert to pixel values and how to scale the width and height while keeping the aspect ratio. 

Hi,I made an animation in which I used many bitmaps on which I used classic interpolations (I didn't know it was not recommended).The changes were taking longer and longer to load onto my file until I couldn't even open my file.Now when I try to open my file, "Animate is not responding"; I think it's a computer performance issue.I haven't made any saves throughout the project (I will now) and can't open the file with Animate to reduce it.So my question :Do you have an idea to lighten it without opening it via Animate?I found that we could replace the extension .fla in .rar to see what the file contained (photos 1 and 2) but I cannot manage to remove the interpolations this way nor the bitmaps without corrupting the file.Ps: I set my performance to high, redownload animate, it doesn't change anythingThank You !

I’m trying to scale a background object so it fills the entire width of the browser window responsively. I want the height of the object to maintain its aspect ratio, so its not stretched. Hi,When I open a new project in Animate 2022, my tools panel doesn't show anything.  Opening it using Windows > Tools just shows a tool panel with nothing in it.I reset the default preferences and restarted the app.What's the trick?

i want to flip an animation (tween) im making to the right side of the page other than the left side, how do i do it? also side question, is there any possible way to move a tween once it has already been tweened? as in all the layers of the tween in one group? could i move it?  thank you!!

My audio shows up as flat and doesn't play in Animate CC (Specifically version 22.0.8) and searching the topic on google doesn't give me anything. I know the audio works as shown here.I'm not sure how I fix this as I have little experience with adobe software. I know that the settings I have for the .wav file such as the bitrate and such work with adobe animate becuase I've used the same setting in previous animations.

Hello,I am running into multiple issues with Animate. Everytime that I try to export a SWF it says there is an error (86:1), however, it does output a SWF into the destination folder that plays correctly when I click on it. When I try to bring that SWF into After Effects, it says that file type is not supported so I'm guessing the file is corrupting. I tried bringing the Animate file into AE instead, but then I was getting an error that said the Animate application needed to be installed in order to work (which it was). I'm not sure what is causing the two applications not to communicate. I've tried installing different versions of the application to no avail. When I bring the file onto another computer, the whole process works just fine. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated - TYIA!

Beginner here, I would love to know whether if I  create my character in Photoshop where I love to draw and paint ( the brushes are SOOO Good) and then use this as a character in Animate in frame/frame animation or maybe by rigging???Any help would be appreciated. thank you

I am wondering if their is a brush I can use to blend colors together or smooth out sharp edges. Is their a brush in adobe animate that I can use to blend like the blending brush in adobe photoshop?

So I have a problem that not letting me use this app properly. I just opened Animate 2022 and after closing greeting window it closing entier program. And there is no error screen or something. Just shutting down after few secs. I also have free version of this program, is this fact depends on how app would work after my free period ends? Can I use it after my free period timed out? Pls anyone help

I accidently deleted a part of my animation in adobe animate cc and saved, and quit the program. I would like to go back to when I didn't delete a portion of my animation and contiune off like that. I save very often but don't know how to go back and access it. 

To elaborate further, when I export the animation from Flash CS6 Professional, the .swf file exported does not show anything except the background, the audio is working fine. I used a V-Cam made by Jazza, it is a V-Cam that is supported for CS3 and is ActionScript3. Even after removing the camera, I checked it again, it still doesn't show anything. Anyone have a good solution?   (Here is where I got the camera from: <possible spam link removed>) Please check if the camera is compatible with CS6, don't want to be using the wrong one!

I made an animation, and i was really proud of it since i just got adobe animate. I went to save it by clicking "save" in the file menu, and thought all was well and closed the app. I decided to reopen to check if it saved, and i couldnt find it. not even in my files, there was just nothing. However, i did look in the preferences after, and auto-recover was on, but i set it to 9 minutes insted of 10 and i think thatt messed everything up. can someone please help me get my animation back?

I am new to animate and many tutorials are suggesting something called "object drawing mode". I can't seem to find it on my screen. On many tutorials, it shows up as a small icon at the bottom of the tool tab. And when I press the rectangle tool I see something called "object drawing" which I can turn on, but it doesn't show up for the primitive rectangle tool, which my current tutorial is suggesting. Where is the button or option for object drawing mode in the current version of adobe animate?
