Animate

After looking for a while I can't find a simple info whether or not, and how, to connect Animate with jQuery.My (beginners) idea was that I have to put some code in the first frame to connect with jquery-3.2.1.js. And than to have the option to use jQuery scripts insides Animate. Certainly there are some useful functions that are not part of the normal Animate tools as tweens, or not part yet of code fragments.But it seems to be more complex. The HTML has to be scripted (?) and perhaps the whole is not as great as I tought?So my question is –  how to use jQuery insides Animate and which are the most useful functions?

Lately, in the last few projects I've used it, automatic lip syncing has been off by about 6 frames - for some reason it seems to add neutral frames at the start making all the following syncing lag. If I slide off the frames back, the syncing is correct. I've used auto lip sync pretty extensively since it was introduced and never had this issue before. Anyone else experienced this or know some reason it might be happening? A bug with 22.0.7? Or something about how the audio is set up that needs to change for this version to work properly?

Hello everyone,So, im working on adobe animate to create exe application through win projector, it was working fine till yesterday.after I publish the .exe it throws teh error of update flash...but it is not updating.Please help me...my job depends on this.

For more context, I am making an object show animation that uses voices, however, when I test the scene, the voices start from the beginning and loop over the other voices. No fixes I have thought of work, so please help if you can.

The zoom stage tools for adobe animate are a little hard to use. For example, when in fullscreen mode the custom drop down menu disappears. I use + and - but those only zoom in increments - a scrubby zoom would be more precise. I figured the only way to make this happen is to build an extension myself - how would I go about building an extension/action/add-on for adobe animate to make zooming easier? Is this possible? I really don't know much about coding/developing add-ons. I've searched for an extension that does this but haven't found anything close to it. Or maybe there is a way to make an action that zooms in 10% or 20% increments?

Hello everybody.Latelly I mostly use Animate to create interactive presentations. My clients sometimes have problems with the exe file because of flash player version I use (most of the times have to export as FP 26 to work). The last one I made says, when opening, that the player is too old and to update it (wich ofcourse is impossible to do). Is this happening to someone else? Is there a way to fix this? Are my days in creating presentations with Animate almost done? 😞 🙂Thank you!

I'm building an interactive desktop web app with different menus and videos that will be accessed via URL and presented on a large format touchscreen. I have a startup screen that is a movieclip symbol with some animation - user taps screen to flick through the interactive app. I need help creating a timeout code to return the app to the initial state after 2 minutes of inactivity (no touch/mouse movement or gestures). I did find in discussions code that works but it seems to only work for Air Apps and not desktop. Animate 22.0.8Mac Mini 2018 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i58 GB Memory 2667 MHz DDR4 The animation is 60fps and runs about 75 seconds. In Animate, I go to File >> Export >> Export Video Media. The video dimensions are 1468x2560. I choose H.264 and Mach Source - High bitrate. The animation is about 4466 frames. My disk quickly fills up around 24GB of space, and then the program crashes and I get warnings from MacOS that that I have ran out of memory and hard drive space.  I know it's not the most capable computer, but it should surely be able to render this video.  I have tried rendering in four, 1000 frame segments, but the program is now the motion tweens start over with each render, so that is not a solution. 

Does anyone have the jsfl? If you do, can you link it?

So recently I made small looping animation of a head bop that's suppose to be moving at 70FPS  with there being a total of 28 frames in the looping animation. It looks pretty good, when in adobe animate. But when it comes to trying to export it, the FPS seems to lose some frames binging it down to what feels like 40-50FPS when its exported. Any ideas on why this is happening and is there anything I can do to fix this? I attached the gif that has the wrong FPS, I don't know if it will help but at least it will give you a visual.

1) This is regarding a desktop application developed in VC++ code(MFC) which works on windows 10. VC++ code invokes the flash files (.swf) for the front end GUI. The .swf file is compiled from animate document(.fla) file and the action script file(.as)2) Currently as flash player is blocked by latest windows version, the swf files are not played during execution of the app. I need to have a work around solution to use the flash files in our app. Else what is the option for appropriate conversion of the files (.fla/.as/.swf) inorder to colour changes, data display, movie play, movement of object based on dynamic data etc) as available in the app.Any suggestions please???

I am creating simple animation in HTML5 Canvas. I have placed a simple classic tween animation and placed a STOP script after 50 frames. there is a button at the end to replay the animation. I have placed a movie clip over button to keep it playing until replay button is clicked. It works perfectly fine. As soon as I add CAMERA LAYER and publish it again, Movie clip at the end stops working. Once I remove the Camera layer, it starts working again.What would be the issue?

I've done the VR Panoramic Cityscape Tutorial and successfully created my HTML document.  Now what?  How do I embed this on a web page so viewers can drag and move the image and see my work?

The title says it all. I could swear that, once upon a time, Sync Symbols worked as I would expect - keeping symbols in sync -  but now it doesn't seem to do anything at all.Example -I make a graphic symbol which is a gear, rotating clockwise. I place the symbol on the timeline.I make a keyframe at frame 50.I make a 2nd keyframe at frame 70. I create a Classic Tween between frames 50 and 70.I check "sync symbols" in the Tweening properties.At frame 70 I re-size, or move the symbol.Placing the cursor between the two keyframes, I hit F5 a few times, lengthening the tween.The symbol now "jumps" at the end of the tween. It is no longer in sync. This is exactly what happens if I leave Sync symbols unchecked. Either way, the symbol falls out of sync.If I do the same thing using Create Motion Tween, the symbols stay in sync whether I check Sync Symbols in Tweening properties or not.Have I just forgotten how this is supposed to work?  I'm attaching an example file

I made a game - mostly drag and drop - with Animate in HTML/Javascript and it works as in intended.  I then used the code t create two more games, just changing the objects that the code refers to without changing the code.  One of these games works as the first, but the other two don't work at on in my browser (Chrome).  When I open the Developer Tools window it says, "Uncaught An error has occurred. This is most likely due to security restrictions on reading canvas pixel data with local or cross-domain images."  WTH?  Any ideas about what this could be?  

Hi there,I am using GSAP to make an animation in a Canvas html5 file. It is published correctly as html, but when I want to export it as mp4 it tells me "Access to a gsap property not defined". Anyone know what might be happening?

I have a couple of folders on my timeline that each contain a dozen layers. I want to fade all 24 objects out. The obvious methods I can think of would be:Add a start and end keyframe to all of the individual layers and tween the opacity.Add another layer above all of them and tween in a white rectangle over the top (fortunately I'm dealing with a blank white background on this particular project).Create a new symbol that's a combined copy of all of them, add a blank keyframe to drop all of the separate layers off the screen, and then tween a fade-out on the combined one.Is there some better or more "correct" way? Is there any way to mask an entire folder or apply an opacity tween to all of the contents at one time?

To do this I do an iteration and my idea was to assign certain behaviors depending on the name of the symbol. The problem is that all the elements in animate have the "name" attribute as null. Is there a way to assign a value to the name attribute from Animate and then read it in javascript?

when i skew an object I want it to go in a straight line like B but then it goes like A. I think it's to keep the size consistent but i don't want that. I already tried putting a keyframe in the middle and streching it down but it makes it worse. Is there a way to turn it off or is there nothing I can do? 

I'm new to Animate and trying to figure out how to export my interactive infographic. I'm getting the idea I have to use HTML5 and import the images as assets to a server, which I don't have. Is this right? It works wonderfully in test mode in Animate; it's the exporting I'm having a difficult time with.  My question is that I have to save images as assets in order to publish my final product for the interactive buttons to work? I attached an mp4 of my file.
