Animate

I recently got a new laptop and have been trying to access my previous project but on the creative cloud app the preview of the project is a generic page icon and opens to a blank animate page. When trying from the online Creative Cloud the project icon is an exclamation point and says "unable to load". It's saved under "your work" in my Library, but I really dont know how to open the file or how to fix it because I am still new. Any help would be much appreciated!!

I have an animated project that focuses a lot on loops, So I have the bodies animated, and a lip sync inside the head symbol. The only thing with that is that if the head is inside the loop, the lip sync frames never come in. Is there a way to keep the lip sync connected to the loop, so that it moves with everything else? Thank you in advance.

It's been a while but I used to develop flash/AS animations.  I'm trying to get back into the business using Adobe Animate and HTML5.  One of my go to starting points was Flashkit.com for buttons, movie clips, etc.  Is there a replacement repository for these kinds of resources as Flashkit doesn't look like it's been maintained?Thanks

Will my PC support Animate CC?Specs: Windows 108GB RamAMD Athlon 2650E ProcessorRadeon HD 3200 integrated graphics500GB HDD I'm mainly concerned about if it can run DirectX 12, or at least OpenGL 3.3

Hello community, I might be really blind, but I cannot find a page where all the functions are. Does someone have a link where I can see them? For example, I'd like to know more about "nextFrame();" or "Gotoandstop", where can I see that? Thank you,Folkert

I am going crazy for some time over this: I use Adobe since 1996.. And since CC2021 when i want to open a file i can not sort on MODIFICATION DATE anymore unless i choose for 'Group view', but that Group view  is a very annoying way to find my files...What is left is the DATE ADDED, but this is not handy at all....Does anyone know how to get the normal veiwing mode back? This is by the way an overall problem in all Adobe apps since CC 2021, and i cannot find out why they choose for this view options.. I really hope someone can help me with this... Thanks so much...

Hi,When I select my brush tool under the - Properties - Tool - Colour & Style, there is only fill and opacity options. I have watched many youtube videos where they change there brush style by going in to the library and double clicking the option they want (e.g Artistic - Ink). I have tried this but for some reason only my "Line tool" has the option to change the style to the option I click in the library. Can someone help me please as my bruch tool does not have the style option.  FYI - I have tried both brush types and neither have the option to change the style.  Thanks, 

Hi all,I'm currently trying to play the timeline from an animate project from it's parent webpage/document. I used ot be able to do this with edge animate by with a simple sym.play(); I've checked through the posts on here and none of the solutions I've found seem to work for me. this.gotoAndPlay(0), just gives me a console error saying the function doesn't exist. Am I missing something obvious, the trigger I'm using to fire the function is working fine but I just can't seem toget the timeline to play. Many thanks in advance.

I wan't to animate but i can't flip the draws in adobe animate and i don't know if they look good or not, please if you know how to do it tell me, i'm just learning 😞

When i play it from the start, it works just fine. But when i play it in the middle or on any other frame than the 1st one it doesn't work.

Hi there. I had to create an E-card assignment and apply different basic animated features to it such as motion tweens and shape tweens. The file will run in the animate software but when I tried to test it on the web it only showed the background stage and the other movements didn't appear.https://enter.hellothereweb.com/greetingcard/welcomehome-card.htmlI don't know if the file was corrupted when I applied the motion applications. 

Hello!I am trying to learn animate and i am having a weird bug. Whenever i try to convert anything to a symbol i get an error sound, and then a little white rectangle pops up. I have to click the rectangle to make the error sound stop but then it undoes the convert to symbol. I have tried re installing it and it doesnt help. anyone know what to do? attached is a screen capture of the weird little box that pops up. thanks so much for your time everyone.

Hello, I'm currently trying to find a solution to maintain a flash app that was originally running locally through the plugin but I'm experiencing issues. When I create a Projector (Mac OSX Big Sur), it seems to work but all the swf contents I try load doesn't shows up, it's white only ... The application is some kind of slide viewer (like powerpoint)It first loads an XML description of Swf sequencethen it loads the first swf and display an interface that enables to browse into differents sequences of swf.But none of my swfs are showing up (despite it seems to be loaded correctly)Everything works fine when playing from animate. Is there something I should do ?Should I try to compile the whole app into a desktop Air ? I'm sure you have something to help me (My clients are getting nervous with this Flash EOL story...)

I've recently run into this problem where every time I minimise my window for Adobe Animate, the window turns really small, and when I reopen it, it gives me this strange-looking workspaces meaning I o have to reset the workspace. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I've scoured the internet for days looking for a way to do this. I basically want to make a looping tunnel animation out of 2d photos where the images are the wall of the tunnel. I'm not sure what sofeware/s to use or approach to take. Plaese help.

I keep having trouble with the camera tool. Every time I try to test my video it doesn't show the animation thought the camera but shows the entire workspace. I've had this happen before and somehow got around it but it is giving me trouble again. It keeps giving me the same error report, /Applications/Adobe Animate CC 2018/Adobe Animate CC 2018.app/Contents/Common/Configuration/Camera/Flash/privatePkg/___Camera___.as, Line 450, Column 44 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Matrix3D. When I click on that report it says "private function getMatrix2DFrom3D(mat3D:Matrix3D): Matrix." I am not even trying to export just trying to test it but it won't let me do either.

You shouldn't be able to see the stars since they're off stage but when I test the movie you can see them ...  Please help, I can't find anything on this issue. 

 Hello.  I created an animation in Animate 2021 and it works fine.  However, I exported it as a gif with Animate, and when I insert the gif into a different file, I get a black box around it.  I appreciate your time and resolution.   Note:  When I created the original animation, the stage was transparent.  

I draw hyper realism. That means at 2000% I draw a line at most 3cms long (most are much smaller). I fill in all the spots. Modify>shape is all greyed out for fills. I need at least 250 000 strokes to finish a piece of artwork. I am at maybe 4000. I am noticing incredible brush to eyedropper lag (I switch between the two constantly because i am drawing based on color palette. I feel adobe severely limits artists, making each switch from eyedropper to brush 4 to 5 seconds long between each stroke. I need a fix. 

I have Adobe Animate Version 21.0.2, and I've opened up a video I started yesterday. I could use the camera tool to make it move around yesterday, but today, I can't get the camera to zoom in and out, more or change focus. What do I do? And if it is working properly, where should I go to make it do what I want?

In the last five years or so, I've created about 85 Flash files for classroom course presentations.  Things are moving quickly around here and I'd like to find somebody to convert them to HTML 5 as time is not my friend right now.Most of them are easy click to "play next frame" stop at a frame, click to "play next frame" ... click to "rewind" animations.But there are four or five that are fairly complex.Anybody have any ideas?Thanks!

I'm trying to use the 3D rotation tool, but when I rotate a graphic and let go, all of sudden the graphic jerks one way or the other sometimes more than 45 degrees. There is no way to get the rotation how I want it to be. Is this a known bug? Is there a work around?
