Animate

Hi, i dont know if there is a similar subject but i didnt find it. I have a specific problem with adobe animate and i try to explain. in wacom settings you can put "erase" on one of your wacom-pen buttons.i work so more intuitive for example in photoshop .just draw a line and erase with the button pressed down.and when you release the eraser button it jumps to brush again. now i have 2 problems.if i set up "erase" on one of my wacom pen button it just wont work.if i keep pressin "E" it doesnt jump back to brush again. So its kinda really anoying to press all the time "e" than "b" again.Is anyone out there can help me?  best regards

I am used to set Eraser on the side button on my Wacom Stylus.Since my older Cintiq 21 doesn't work well anymore with Animate on Mac OS Sierra, I had to switch working on a Cintiq 22HD with the latest Wacom drivers installed, because apparently it's the only working Driver that Animate can work well with on Mac OS Sierra.Well - not!!! Now the button Erase function is not working! It works only on the Eraser tip of the Wacom Pen, but sincerely - who is ever using this Eraser tip?! Button Eraser works fine on Photoshop and all other software, but not on Animate. I can't believe there are so many problems that are related only to Animate and Wacom!please fix this, this is not a minor issue!(iMac 21, OS Sierra, Animate 2018, Wacom driver 6.3.25-2)

I've made sure the canvas is action script 3.0, and the sync is on stream, but the audio just doesn't play. The audio file definately isn't the problem as other sync options (like event) work but aren't scrubable. I've tried MP3s and WAVs but there isn't any change.

I was making an animation using Animate 2021 and tried to use a movie clip in my animation. However, the clip just isn't playing. Not when I scrub the timeline, not when I play the animation within Animate, and not when I export the animation and watch it. If I go into the editor for the movie clip, it plays just fine, but if I play the larger scene, it just doesn't happen. Is there something extra I have to do to make my movie clips actually animate?

Hi, can anyone help.. i import a video to animate 2021 then they gave u option to choose skin for the videoeg: SkinUnderAll when i select my prefered skin and click finish, the skin is not on the video..does anyone know where did i do wrong?

I created my HTML 5 canvas with some animations. But in my output web browser shows the only stage and its color. how can I overcome it.I used WAMP Xampp for it.I used different types of browsers for it.thank you.

I have been working on a project to convert a very old flash file (made in 2000 with ActionScript 1.0) to HTML5 Canvas with the death of flashplayer. I used the inherent convert command in Animate. When I did some initial testing I noticed that most of the buttons retained their previous behaviors on mouse hover from the original FLA file. Now I need to make some small edits on the button hover behavior but I don't know where this behavior is being saved. I know its not old ActionScript code since that is all automatically commented out with the conversion to HTML5 so I am quite lost as to where I where I can edit this behavior. If anyone even has suggestions on where to start looking or other suggestions on how to fix this issue that would also be appreciated, thanks!

I've been working on an animation recently, and it's really important for me. The last time I worked on this was on 15.01.2021. the next day opened the file to keep working on it but it mysteriously disappeared/deleted. It's weeks worth of work and even the recovery file of the animation won't restore all the work. I tried to read ways to fix it but most of them are years ago and different versions of the software. 

This happens repeatedly. Not all symbols but random ones involving bitmaps where I've made edits, like overlapping certain sections to alter the image using the lasoo and copy tools. Error message: "could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged." Red screen: https://i.paste.pics/7065398b5665d121997bfb7f1edfaa7d.png  I have several complicated backgrounds that I need to recreate all over again. I can't keep doing this. Any ideas on why it's happening.  Updating Animate and engaging hardware acceleration did nothing.   

Whenever I try to open a recovery file, it says an error occurred.However, I did delete the original file that it was a recovery of since it was outdated.Is there any way I can get my file back?

Because when using text dynamic 2x each in a frame, in the second frame it gives the error that the dynamic text does not exist?

Hey guys .. i am back with set of query..till now .. key press movement a rocket (mc) is moving left right up down in a defined stage area. and i am able to generate some fire balls randomize falling from top. this is just i am duplicating the movie clip(fireball_mc) .... now i want incase or when the rocket (mc) touch the fire ball programm shold detect the collsion and generate a score board. well for this i have tried a script for two movie clips ... wchich is working but ..i don know or i m not gettng the logic how to detect the collission for duplicated movie clips... well i m just giving the script for oinly 2 movie clips coliding...can any one tell me how to do it with randmize or duplkicated mcs?? for 2 movie clip ... _root.mc1.onEnterFrame = function() { if(this.hitTest(_root.egg)) { _root.result="Oh no..... we are dead"; } else { _root.result="we are going fine"; } } (this is happening ..but let me know how can i get the same result for ranndom mcs) hope someon

Hi,i have a circle and want to form a round text. So that the text adapts to the shape. It´s only for an image, not an animation. How can i do that? Best regardsebody 

I am creating a piece in Animate that has a lot of layers, and I am finding that despite the backgrounds of the images on each layer being transparent, some layers are still covering others when they aren't supposed to.  Below y ou can see the girl with the guitar appears to have something on one layer that is covering the yoga guy.  There isn't.  I have remade all layers and checked them in photoshop, there is definately nothing in the background of any of these layers.         Deselected image for reference        I created a new layer at the bottom that I applied a green rectange to and that brings up something blocking him from the lady in the wheelchair.  If I hide the green layer this blocking doesn't show, it looks like the top image.  This also shows that the things covering him are not part of the images as else the colour would still be white.    &

Why sometimes when changing the error fla in html5 and bug all movie clips out of nowhere? When opening another this error does not return?

I have Animate 21.0.1 build 37179 and both AIR 32.0.0.116 and 33.1.1.345Using MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 After update yesterday I am unable to test or debug any AIR files. With AIR 32 I get the error message:A Javascript error occured.At line 868 of file "AIR_TestMovie.jsfl".Error: Cannot find file <path to file>/AIRSDK32/AIRSDK_Compiler//bin/adl. With AIR 33:Test Movie Launch Failedand in the output panel:Cannot run program "<path to AIR SDK>/AIRSDK_33_1_1_345/AIRSDK_MacOS/bin/adl": error=13, Permission denied

Hi all, I am fairly new to animate and had an issue when exporting my final scene to mp4. The produced MP4 comes back partially rendered. For example, the bottom half of the animation is working and then the top half just is not visible. Has anyone encountered this before or know if it sounds like there is a bug in one of the library objects?  P.S. when I did test renders of the smaller items in my library that compromise this bigger animation, they all worked perfectly fine.... Just not all together 

I have a Movie Clip Instance Name "p_OC" and inside that movie clip I have a MC with the Instance Name "b_HS" on the first frame. When a mouse hovers over b_HS I want p_OC to display the next frame. (So, on Hover, show the contents of the next frame) This code on the first frame of p_OC where b_HS resides does not perform this function:   this.b_HS.addEventListener(AnEvent.MOUSE_OVER, function() { this.gotoAndStop(2); // I have also tried displaying frame 1 assuming frame numbers start at 0 });   The result is p_OC remains on the first frame.  I also tried from the root, this code which produced the same results:   this.p_OC.b_HS.addEventListener(AnEvent.MOUSE_OVER, function() { this.p_OC.gotoAndStop(2); });   Does anyone know the magic words to get MC's to respond to Events in Animate 360 VR? Thank you.   

Hey community I need halp with my Adobe Animate UI, it seems to have a bug where it corrupts random bits of UI swatches and drop down menu images. I will post videos of them below.  I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and what I can do to fix it without unsinstalling/reinstalling Animate?I am currently running Animate 2021 on the M1 Mac mini and this problem just keeps getting worse the more I use it. you can see at the bottom all the gradient and custom swatches are all corrupted. and this is especially my issue where I cannot see the drop down for style or width of my line. sometimes it opens and sometimes it wont even drop down. whichever it is it never shows up properly.
