Merci beaucoup !Rose
I was creating Audio programs. I've NEVER played around with multi-track files. I would simply click "New," then choose "Audio."I took a break, and when I came back and tried it again, I got the message "Multitrack session not open. Mixer controls are enabled only when a multitrack session is the active document."I closed all my files and restarted Audio a couple times, but the problem persists. I also double-clicked on an audio file I created earlier, but it didn't open. What do I have to do to create a simple audio file? Thanks.
I'm trying to create a radio sound effect where the volume of the static noise floor follows the peaking of the voice on the radio. Basicaly: when the voice is loud, the static should get louder. When the voice gets soft, the static gets quieter. Is there a way to automate this in Audition? Thanks so much!
When I record (from any mic), it looks like it's starting to record, but nothing shows up but a flat line. No sound. No waveform. I checked all my settings. The right mic is chosen. I checked my Privacy settings on my Mac. Audition has permission to use it. This was never a problem before. Don't know what else to do.
I'm hoping to listen to a 5.1 mix using passive monitors. I have optical cable running from my computer to a receiver. I can play 5.1 material, but not from Adobe Audition. I'm only given 2 channel mapping options. Does anyone have a work-around for this?
I'm running the latest version of audition and any time I try to add any effects, match loudness, or save, it takes a lot longer than it should. I have 32 gigs of ram and a 2tb SSD (Samsung t7). The file I'm trying to edit is just a simple single track .wav file. It's about 13 minutes long as well. When I go to apply the effects, it would take 2 hours. I opened it on another device with only 16 gigs of ram and it ran just fine as it should normally. Not sure what the issue is as I have all of the settings the same as well.
While every other Plug-In works perfectly (Ozone 10 Impact, Ozone EQ etc) when I try to load Ozone 10 Plug-In (Which includes all others) Audition crashes. It used to work ok, i installed some other Plug-Ins (Waves) and from that moment no Ozone 10. I uninstalled everything, reinstalled Audition and only Izotope Plug-Ins but nothing. Anyone having an idea?
I do a lot of audios with multiple markers and have to move audios several times, adding some more or cutting others. In this matter, I have to move several markers at once and it is currently impossible. What works though is inserting a silence to move all the next markers at once, but that's not convenient at all because it has to break some tracks. So having a simple feature that, after having selected several markers in the "marker panel", allow us to move these markers with a duration would be a huge time saving !
I try to open an .mp3 file (that was recorded on an iPad with standard voice recorder app) in Audition. The mp3 works fine in Gmail preview. After trying to open the .mp3 I get this error:Error: Apple AudioToolbox cannot open the specified file. Error Code: 'dta?'How can I solve this and work with the .mp3 in Audition?Audition CC 11.0.2.2Mac OS 10.13.2MacBook Pro 13" Retina Mid 2014
In editor, now when I want to record a selected area, for example, when I want to record room tone over a selected area between spoken sentences, it stops short of the selected area. It will record most of it, but not all the way to the end of the selection.
My boss is recording into audition through a Rodemaster Pro board. He records very frequently and usually the audio sounds fine, but once every 10ish recordings he gets audio that comes out like this. He's recording in 44100, 32 bit. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Hey there,I know, currently this is not possible, but I'm thinking about this for a long time (a lot Audition went by since) and I cannot understand why you did't have implemented this feature I'm requesting here not 12 versions before version 13. Currently we have a lot of podcasts, podcast customers and podcast editing employees in our firm. So my request here comes from a very "business like" standpoint. My team and I love to cut podcasts with jkl. That's it. And with Screenflow and even (that bugs me most) with Adobe Premiere I can double click "l" in order to playback double speed without changing the pitch level. I think professionally this is called "monochromatic" playback. However. Why can Screenflow do that as a just simple Video recording tool (it's not a DAW guys). And why can even Adobe Premiere play double speed monochromatic? It's also specialized in video editing and not audio. But it just can do it out of the box. It's really nice to cut audio dobule speed w

This would be so great to add, as I do a lot of podcast editing in Audition which requires multiple volume key frames to be modified, and then later I go to delete a section on that same clip and that clip keyframe is still selected, so instead of deleting the section, it deletes that key frame. Really frustrating haha. So the option to have keyframes deselect automatically after the clip is no longer selected would be amazing!! Thanks!
FEATURE REQUEST: AUTO-SYNC ALL AUDITION APPLICATION SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION IN THE CLOUD Adobe Audition 2022, Mac This feature, or lackthereof, is a sticking point for any non-linear editing application using any media. When an editor or designer customizes the app the make it work as an efficient professional tool, the work that goes into those customizations can represent years of experience. Decades! Cloud syncing without personally customized features is a total waste of the user's time and an affront to the way most people work. It's true that different apps have different ways of maintaining, accessing, and saving these settings. But we're in the cloud. This should just be default across apps, including Audition.A user should never have to think twice about when she opens a project file using her own account on a new or different machine – that her customized version of that cloud-based app will be the same as how she opened it on the last machine. The user
Hello everyone,I have a problem. While playback of my recording, about every 30/40 seconds master track mute for a second. I have a proper output in preferences. There are no changes on volume envelope. The bigest problem however is that seconds od silence are kept in exported file. Please help, I want to get rid of that issue. Exported session belowBest Regards
I'm running the latest version of Adobe Audition CC, on Windows 10, 32GB or RAM (which I never come close to using all of), on a machine with an Intel i7 7th generation 4.2Ghz processor. It runs smoothly for most operations I do. Even simple things in Audition are fine. But once I get a big session going with lots of life effects, things really grind to a halt. This is understandable, but I'm wondering if there's something I can to to alleviate the huge lag time I end up getting every time I hit play in a session. It becomes so laggy that it's incredibly frustrating to use. I mean, a 4 or 5 or 6 second delay, every time I want to hit play.I keep all my files on the SSD C: drive. Is that better than a secondary standard HDD?I avoid using effects like Full Reverb and Reverb and others like that coded red. I use almost no VST plugins. What can I do to speed things up? Is my CPU just too slow?Any advice welcome! And I'll answer any probing questions you may have. Thanks, AA community!
Hi, I host a podcast with a friend. Since we live in different cities, everyone sits in front of their own PC at home. Now it often happens during the recording that his or my voice is significantly (!) quieter than the other at the end... Is there the possibility in Audition to synchronize these two different loud speech sources so that the volume is the same ? Preferably in such a way that the quieter volume adapts to the louder. Best regards Stephan
Hi everyone, hope you are well.I'm using Adobe Auditions 2021 with a Presonus Faderport Classic surface controller. I've managed to get all the buttons working but I can't seem to get a footswitch to work as the record function. I'm using a Boss Fs-5U.I want to punch in and out while I'm playing acoustic, so I thought a footswitch to record would be best. Does anyone know why it won't work? Do I need to assign the footswitch to record in Adobe Auditions somehow? Any help would be very much appreciated as I'm starting to lose my mind. Thank you all.Kris
I have been having trouble with my audio hardware Setup settings, I was unable to record and now after I uninstalled ASIO and went back to the windows sound driver I am able to record voice overs in both multitrack and edit modes. THE Problem is I can not hear anything while in Multitrack but hear everything fine in edit mode WHAT AM I MISSING? Win 7 and Adobe Audition 3.0
I quite often use the Batch Process function to convert WAVs to MP3s for radio play.I want to export as 320 Kbps MP3s, but when I go through Export Settings > Change Format Settings to 320 Kbps and run the current batch, the Format Settings keeps defaulting back to 192 Kbps. So, in the following three steps:1. Drag & dropped WAV file into Batch Process window and clicked "Export Settings..."2. I've clicked the "Change..." button next to Format Settings and changed from 192 Kbps to 320 Kbps, then clicked "OK" and clicked the "Run" button in the Batch Process window. This exports the file as a 320 Kbps MP3 and closes the WAV file as wanted.3. I've now opened a new WAV file, dropped it into the Batch Process screen and clicked "Export Settings..." and you can see it's reverted back to 192 Kbps.Audition has remained open this whole time. This is quite annoying and I can't see anywhere else to define the settings as I want it. I'm sure it used to default to the most recently-used setti
Hi,When I batch procees spots from Wav to Mp3 or WAV to Mp2, the file name extension continues with the new file format. So I'll batch to a WAV format and the file will also end with WAV, or into MP3 or into Mp2. It will look like this:ABCDEFG-MVCR-3-15wav.wav How do I remove that double end naming of the file? I'm using Adobe Audition 2023 and I have the new update. The only step I have been able to remove the double name is to Bulk Rename it and remove the extra end name.
I have made a simple recording. In audition, the levels are reading high, near clipping infact. Yet the playback volume output is extremely low. Hardly audible. It is not the speaker setting as every other sound in other programs, apps, websites, are outputing normal volume. What is causing the low output in sound, even though the recording wavform is reading high?
Hello, I have been trying this for some time now and I just couldn't find out how to do it.I am working in multitrack view in Track 1. In Track 1 there is Clip A and Clip B with a 5 second silence between them.In Track 2 I have Clip C which is 20 seconds long and which I want to move now to Track 1 between A and B.If I just move C into the space between A and B it overlaps with A and B as its longer as the 5 second silence. Is there a way to easily drag and drop Clip C between A and B and Audition automatically makes the Space between A and B long enough for C to fit in?I found a way by inserting silence between the clips with the silence as long as the new clip, but I am sure there is a more convenient way.
