Hi there,I have an Alesis Strike Pro SE e-drum kit. It has MIDI over USB, whcih I am using so I can record each individual drum onto its own track as you would if you were recording live drums with each individual mic. I can't get audition to recognize the kit as a hardware option using ASIO, MME or WASAPI. Can anyone help me with this?
So, I upgraded my mic and preamp to the Rode NT1 and the Scarlett 2i2 over the weekend. Now Audition just randomly stops recording with no warning. It's then impossible to restart it and I have to reboot it. Happening every time now. Any idea. Otherwise I guess I'll have to go back to Audacity and I'd really rather not...

Like run on on podcast dialog and have one person talks as one group and other person as other group. Any automated way would be welcomed THX Cheers
Hi all. Probably a noob question here. Was working fine a couple of days ago. Not sure if a preference somehow changed, but I'm an Audition novice and don't know how to troubleshoot or change. Mp3's import without a problem. There's no error message. Just this: Thanks in advance for your help.
I run a podcast in a sound treated studio, but my 2 mics (both condenser) are placed relatively close to each other so there is audio spill in the final audio, I'm recording in multi-track, so I can remove it by hand, but I was wondering if there is a more efficient way to do this. I'm using Audition CC 2017 to record and edit
The title says it all. I've just bought a new PC and installed my good old Audition CS6 on it but I would like to update it it to the final version which I believe was v5.0.2. However I can't find the download anywhere online. Can anyone help me?
Hi, I have been trying to find information on transferring digital files to a cassette through inline to cassette recorder. Is it just as easy as setting up my files in audition, hitting play within the program and record on my cassette recorder? Do I need to account for things like volume, and if so, how would I do that? Any other comments that would be helpful would be very appreciated. I am trying to do this as a surprise for someone, so this stuff is not necessarily my forte and I am really new to it, so I appreciate any and all responses. 🙂
When I try to save a session Audition crashes. Does not matter whether or not it is a blank new file or a recorded session.
Hello, I've tried searching for this, but only found totally unrelated topics. I tried to fine an online manual that I could download, but it appears there is no manual. Having to rearticulate search requests, to try to find something takes time, and when you don't find anything, it's frustrating. At least a reference manual lets you figure it out for yourself. The fact that I pay Adobe a sizeable amount of money every month, and they can't even make reference manuals available (something every other professional company does, who I don't pay every month) is unacceptable. Rant over, sorry. I would like to automate setting marker points. I'm editing wavetables, and I just need to set a marker every 2048 samples. I have wavetables which have 256 single cycle waveforms, so doing this manually is rather cumbersome. Is there a way to automate this in the newest version of Audition? Thanks!
Is it possible to record the metronome track in a mixdown, to build up backing tracks?

Hi, I am trying to use the Extract Audio from CD. When I see the resulting dialog box, Audition doesn't load the list of available tracks. It does see the external DVD/CD drive. Does anyone know why? I'm using the MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021). In other programs such as Music and Waveform, it loads the CD OK. Is there a setting in Audition that needs to be set?
Hi Steve I ran across some of your messages regarding echo issues in recorded audio. Steve please please can you help me I've tried EVERYTHING and I just can't get this right. I have a audio recording from a S7 and the background noise is so overwhelming that it has drowned out the voices. But whenever I Denoise the audio as well as the speech all background seems to disappear but the voices than become so echoey. I can only make out bits and pieces UGH 😩 Please can someone help me fix the echo and distortion on this recording
Is there a way to preview an edit in Audition before actually making the cut?
Hi, with Adobe Audio I am looking to achieve this - is it possible? 1x "core" audio file: "I came across your company and blah blah blah x y z" And *dynamically* insert at the very start, variable audio, which will be a person's name e.g. "Daniel!" Does Adobe Audio have an API whereby this could be inserted to the start of the core audio track, dynamically and on-the-fly so you get a full file returned quickly for use in a web app?
COMPATIBILITY WITH WINDOWS 11ROGER MALLISON
Hello! I've been trying to save my WAV file as mp2 and keep getting an error message that "my destination might be full or no longer available." I followed the previous thread from 2018 on this and tried all those suggestions but nothing has worked. I get the same message no matter what I try. My coworkers on older versions of Audition have managed to do this - I have both 2021 and 2022 right now.
I cannot load Waves plugins into the fx rack of Audition. This is on a Dell laptop with Windows 10. When I scanned the plugins, it gave me an error message saying something about Python 39. The plugins show up in my list but they will not load. Please help.
Audition is introducing audio clicks when I record a wave file. The recording starts out fine, then about a minute in clicks or hits start being introduced. This used to be a rare and intermittent problem for me, but now it's become an everyday occurence. I'm on a laptop with Windows 10. All other adobe products I use regularly-- Premier and Character Animator -- work very well on this laptop, so I know it's not the machine. Is this a setting or a latency issue I'm not understanding? Thanks for any help.
I need to upload the file into WEb Tunes. Its urgent!!!!! Before you upload your song, please make sure that files are in an accepted format. Stereo wav files in 24 bit (sample size) with 192 kHz (sample rate) are recommended, but 16 bit (sample size) with 44.1 kHz (sample rate) files are also accepted. How I can change the format of my file? I jhave a file of M4A. I need to convert it into KHZ or BIT. Please, help me!!!!
Hello. Recently ive been doing a great deal of work with Premiere Pro. One thing ive noticed recently is that if working on several projects if i dont watch it i can find 20 40 50 gigs worth of junk back up files and renders i dont need and killing my small hard drive. So my question is when using audition to make recordings sometimes it as you can imagine takes multiple takes to get something down. So when i stop the recording and go up to new Audio file are there any unwanted residual files stored taking up space or when you go to new recording its just a new recording with no left over? Thank you
hallo I have desktop pc 2009 with gigabyte motherboard EP43 and onboard audio but all runs well, audition or ANY other trial of a daw worked well RECORDING sound on win7 64 bit, but nothing possible on win10 or win 11 been trying for 3 weeks, solution ? ??? put NO input makes that I can not record sound, either from a file on the desktop, or from a cassettedeck, there is NO microphone on this pc nor attached in the NO input suggestion I can open a sound file and play it, I can not record in this case, logically if there is no input ,no stereomix,no line in then no signal in the output solution ? ???privacy security allow microphone access ON and allow apps to use microphone ON yes then there is no MME I can record BUT immediately a very severe reverb almost echo appears I work with professional headphones so as there is no microphone there must in this case be a feedback in the system choosing was
I need to export audio projects (podcasts) so that my colleague can work on them.Everything works fine except that effects that are referenced in the files are not present, they seem not to go through the export? Does anyone have a solution for this?
Hello friends! I've been trying to nail down some "go to" settings for the multi-band compressor in Audition, applied specifically to my VO tracks. I know that this is largely subjective, but I'd love some foundational settings that I can build on. I have done a bit of research on this, and most of what I find is more for vocals and not so much narration. I'm sure that my frequency levels are not correct for most voice ranges. I also find that I'm making a lot of my voices more harsh rather than just having a good presence. Would be grateful for any recommendations / screenshots of settings, etc. that you are willing to share here. Many thnaks!Stephen
