Hello;I listen to a podcast every day that I want to keep. But I encounter a problem, from one show to another the power of the sound is set differently (due to I suppose the incompetence of the technician), a sudden the way is almost inaudible and intros rehearsals broadcast after the pubs are thoroughly (See screenshot 1), on others the first part of the show is really too strong and the second part really too low, on certain, the sound of the various speakers is too low or it happens too that there is a difference in overall sound from one show to another (See screenshot 2).So I would like to know how to do with "Adobe edition cc" to harmonize a show by going up the set to the same level that is to say, to make the track is at the same level as the intro recovery, with Adobe Audition CC taking as "template" an episode of the show whose sound has been recorded correctly (See screenshot 3).Could you help me please ?Ps: I am french and I use google translator.See screenshot 1 :See scre

Hi all.I've created a 24-bit session and brought two 24-bit mono wave files in. Now I want to export it as a 24-bit stereo wave file.But under Export/Multitrack Mixdown, all the 24- and 16-bit options are greyed out. I have "Wave PCM" selected as the format.Anyone know what the deal is here? Thanks.

hi im using adobe audition cs6 along with asio4all, i have selected the 2 devices i want to use (my focusrite 2i2 for 2 mono tracks and my blue yeti usb mic) there is a difference in the latency i get from both there even though they are set to the same buffer and sample rates. the latency compensator does nothing it seems to me.all i want to be able to do it have both left and right channel of the focusrite on separate channels and the yeti on a 3rd channel with all the same latency (as low as possible) anyone be able to shed some light on this please thanks.

OK, I'm having a heck of a time getting extension packaging to work.I've created a panel extension that implements Punch & Roll functionality for Audition CC 2017.It works just fine if I have signing requirements disabled in the registry -but I've been completely unsuccessful in signing it to allow anyone else to use it.I've created a certificate with the Adobe Exchange packager -however, any attempts to actually package my files fail and point me to a fairly useless document to troubleshoot it.I also note that most of the documentation AND tools do NOT list Audition as a product to install for. (I do have Java installed and properly pointed to)I've also used the online tools at Adobe Exchange  I was able to generate a .zxp  and download it.However, attempting to install it with ANY tool fails - for instance, exmancmd.exe gives me a -252 error. (using admin privileges)There is SO MUCH conflicting information on how to go about this that it's daunting, and all of the error

I'm using Audition to record an interview, I cant get audition to pickup both Mics at the same time.  Both tracks only pickup the Mic that is selected in the audio hardware setting and not what is selected on the inputs tab.  Any help would be appreciated.

How, if there is a way, can I fix an echo-y room audio recording?! I recorded video off of a DSLR camera and the audio was recorded separately, but I have somehow lost the audio so I am trying to salvage the video recordings by using the audio recorded from the back of the camera. Is there ANY WAY to fix this?! Thank you!

When I record my voice, the level ramps up in a straight line. I don't know how else to describe this. I cuts off the beginnings of hard consonant sounds where there is a no sound until the T or D is expressed.. Can I get rid of this? I don't mind some background noise as a tradeoff for natural-sounding vocals.I can't find where I have any effects applied. This occurs in both waveform and multitrack editing.

I can't see the remix button in either the properties panel or the clip dropdown menu or if I right click the audio file! I have used this file before in audition and can't understand why its not working. Please help!

Just yesterday I was working on a newly created multitrack session in Audition CC 2018. Of course, after you make some changes to the file the filename displayed has an asterisk at the end of the filename, showing that you need to save it (before closing or whatever). When I save the file, it doesn't get rid of the asterisk so I thought it was not saving. Then I restarted my machine, a reliable iMac 27" running with El Capitan 10.11.6, and I opened the file and saw that my changes were indeed saved. This seems to me to be a bug but I don't see any Adobe update available. Is this an anomaly or what?

I am currently working on a very urgent project, that I need to deliver in 5 hours.I have worked on this 5.1 audio for about 15 hours, and an hour ago the programm said it can't write on the harddrive, I should save and reinstall the programm. No results for this error on Google. I saved the project, restarted the PC and opened the file to see and hear, that the files were corrupted. It sounds like a few kids playing on drums, tringles and xylophones. Is there a chance I can change the corrupted files without needing to apply all filters, effects etc onto them? Or is there another solution, so I can repair the session?

Hello, I'm trying to record music... however, the microphone doesn't seem to work.The red light on the USB flashes when it is, connected, or working.I don't know which settings to put or what to do please help!The red light is currently flashing but nothing is working??It is getting frustrating because YouTube videos just show reviews and how to set it up but, these tutorials do not seem to be working with their settings.

Hello,Quite a major issue. I have a number of effects mapped to several bus tracks in Audition 2017 (issue also applies in 18 I have just tried).When I attempt to do a ripple delete, the keyframes in the main tracks (effect automation not track volume) all move but the keyframes in the bus tracks do not.This seems like a bug, it's very annoying however as if there isn't a fix for this I'll have to manually move all of my keframes across the whole project... which is two hours long currently. Any clues on how to make ripple delete affect bus track automation?

Hi guys, I've had a persistent and annoying problem with FX plug-in sliders being delayed (such as Mastering or De-esser) in Audition 5.5. It bugged me all the time before I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it's still here after re-installation. When I move a slider it just doesn't respond immediately, and I have to click on the top of the FX plug-in window to have a slider instantly relocating to a different position. Obviously, I cannot normally apply effects as I never have control over parameters. hope someone could advise me of possible solutions to this problem.Cheers,D

okay here is the problem i'm having. when i go to put my commentary audio file into adobe audition. I get these errors and for some reason all i do is recording in shadow play for my pc and i seperated that audio from the games audios here is a screen shot of my problem please help me fixs this issue

I would like to use Audition to create text to speech file for use with individual captions in Captivate.  Captivates TTS feature creates a single file for everything on a slide.  Captivate has several voices included but then has several that can be downloaded - I think the pack is called Adobe Captivate Voices 9.  Is it possible to use these same voices in Audition's TTS functionality?ThanksBarbie

I'm guessing there is an easy answer to this that I'm not getting. I've done a lot of editing on a file (only in multi track mode, non-destructive) that I would now like to do away with and begin anew. I can't figure out how to make that happen. How do I open only the original file without the edits?

Hi,I've been searching for a while now but I'm wondering if I can record another DAW, in this case Logic Pro X, with Audition.Greetings, John.

I'm doing simple stereo to mono conversions. same sample rate and bit depth (48kHz 24bit) and mixing 100% left and 0% right. I've got 750,000 files to do but I did a test to see what Audition could do so I loaded in 5,000 and ran the batch. It ran smoothly BUT it actually just gave me an output of 5,000 empty files.There is a technical term called 'deep joy' that comes from using vaporware.Have I just been conned by Adobe to buy buggy nonsense?I know the Audition team keep trying to make things better by adding bloat and removing and changing really useful features they don't really understand but that's the corporate stupidity and reality inherent in tools designed by people trying to serve the mass market and bigger profits rather than the real experts who need good tools.Oh, they sure do listen to customers and ask for features and ideas  but there is no real filter on the quality of what they are guided by (it' obvious by the outcome). Then they act upon statistical feedback.

Is there any way to turn off this annoying pop up that happens every time I insert silence with quick key into a recording? It pops up every time I do it telling me where I'm inserting the silence? I KNOW where I'm inserting it because that's what i just did. Any help would be appreciated.

Hii All,I have a audio file that taken from video, the audio is 2 guys that talking using a mic each one,In the audio file there is a huge echo and a littlebit delay.Im not familiar with audition cc, does anybody know if there any plugin or effect that can solved the echo problem?

I've used audition for many years and feel like I have a pretty good working understanding of the program, but have just stumbled into a bit of a puzzler. I have two issues in playback. The first involves the degradation of individual tracks. Basically, I am importing midi files into Reason, exporting those as wav files and inserting them into my multitrack view in Audition CC. For some reason (after many years of doing this), if I return to the multitrack session hours or days later, the waveform sounds terrible and distorted in both multitrack and individual track playback. If I delete the file from the mutitrack session and re-insert it, it comes out just fine, but eventually it will end up distorted. This only happens to tracks exported as wavs from Reason and not to tracks that are recorded live. It happens regardless of whether i shut the program down and restart it or leave it open. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Any solutions?Second issue is specific to playback i

Aloha all!I'm trying to do some basic multitrack recording. Lay down one channel, go back, add accompaniment to that channel, go back, add another track for vocals, etc. etc. Really vanilla stuff. But with each pass, I get a delay. It seems to average about .040 seconds.I checked the Preferences; the evil Enable Smart Monitoring option is off.This happens even with no external equipment to contend with. Sitting at my desk, using the mic from my iMac, I tap out a constant beat (more or less) on my desk. I then play that back while recording to a second channel, and tap along with the first channel. When I play back the pair, there's a definite delay between tracks 1 & 2. If I continue the experiment by playing track 2 while recording track 3, then playing track 3 while recording track 4, I can see the waveform peaks shifting more and more to the right.Surely this isn't how it's supposed to work. What am I doing wrong?Mahalo!Tom G
