Audition

Hi team,  I really don't know what happened this afternoon, but I spent the afternoon editing, exporting and going about my business. When I was sharing the files I'd edited, I was getting messages back from people to say the files wouldn't play. Audition didn't crash, or show any warnings.  The .sesx file and the mp3 files that I exported are all absoutely unreadable. I've tried repairing them with all the usual services and they seem to be absolute toast. Trying to open them on Audition returns a 'dat?' error. If anyone has experienced similar, or even better could retrieve the data in the files, I'd be hugely grateful.  I've attached the main edit below, in case anyone fancies having a go at fixing!  (I can't upload below because it isn't even recognising it as an mp3!)  https://we.tl/t-uMEtzM8IAK Thanks

I had to get a new computer with a new boot drive. So my version of Audition 5? (CS6) is on a different drive letter now and won't work. When I try, it says the adobe application manager required to verify my license is damaged or missing. It tells me to go to adobe.com/go/applicationmanager but that link just takes me to https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html so...I really need my version to work because I spent so much time creating my own filter. I think that's what you call it. When you create something that has several filters rolled into your own.....filter I guess it's called. What can I do to get my version working?

Hello there! I'd love this answered ASAP. I have a Macbook Pro laptop that I am using to record stuff on for voice acting. My XLR microphone is connected to a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface. I made sure that everything is connected properly and I can hear myself when I am recording. Even when I changed the hardware preferences to make sure that the Scarlett Solo will record my audio, I do not see anything on my screen when I am trying to record. I reported this as a bug a couple of months ago and, not surprisingly, got zero response from Adobe, so I'm hoping to have some better luck tracking down the problem here. I frequently get this error when I'm trying to save an MP3 file, regardless of whether I'm using "save," "Save as," or "save selection." The destination IS available and is not full. Normally, if I click "ok" and immediately try again, it saves just fine (but it's added steps because when saving an MP3, it doesn't highligh the file name text and I have to retype the name every time), and sometimes even says the file already exists and asks if I want to replace it. (Insert eye roll here). This time, it will not allow me to save this file as an MP3 at all. It allowed me to save it as a WAV in the exact same "full or unavailable" folder, but it keeps giving me the above error whenever I try to save it as an MP3. This only ever happens with MP3s, which I'm required to use in some instances, so figuring out

Hey everyone.I had been recording for most of the morning, closed an audition session to start my next recording and now it wont record any audio from my focusrite. my focusrite is picking up the mic, i have the device input set up right, I haven't changed any settings since I last successfully recorded and I have restarted my laptop and uninstalled and reinstalled audition and nothing has helped, it does record from my laptop mic though. Does anyone know what might be going on?

No puedo instalar programas de Adobe debido a un problema de interfaz.Hola, ultimamente estoy teniendo un problema que no he encontrado solucion en ningun lado y espero que aquí me puedan ayudar de alguna forma. Estoy tratando de instalar Adobe Audition version 2025, y al momento de hacer la instalación, la ventana del Programa de Instalación tiene problemas con la interfaz, de ahí no puedo continuar de ninguna forma con la instalación. I'M RECORDING IN MULTITRACK and the track is label FUTZ1

I know Adobe has an API but I can't find info if it can do what I'd like, which is the following: call the API with a music file name and folder location, and then use one my of Audition favourites to process that file, and return if it worked or not. Please, is this possible, if so, could someone post some links, examples, resources etc that could help? I am currently using the latest version on a 7 day trial, and mention that only to get across I would be using the most recent Audition version. thx.

Nothing has changed on my Mac that I'm aware of.  No recent updates or installations.  Audition has just suddenly started beach balling every time I attempt to open or close a session.  And if you're going to say it's the hard drive, not correct.  I use multiple drives, and the one I'm currently using works just fine on my other computer. Macbook Pro 14 inch 2023 M2 with 16g ram.  Audition is up to date (25.0.0.47) and Mac OS is up to date 14.7.1 (as far up to date as my company will allow)

Wechselt man den Eingang von Stereo auf Mono erlischt bei aktivierter Rekordspur die Pegelanzeigen. Man muss Rekord deaktivieren und erneut aktivieren um den Pegel sehen zu können. Dasselbe Verhalten ist nach einem Programmneustart zu beobachten. Ich hatte ursprünglich das Problem der Mikrofonfreigabe vom Mac welches durch den Support gelöst wurde. Da wurde auch kein Pegel angezeigt. In dem Fall war aber tatsächlich kein Pegel vorhanden, da der Mac das Mikrosignal nicht an Adobe weitergereicht hat (vom Scarlett Interface) Jetzt ist es nur noch eine Darstellungssache. Wenn man es weiß, kein Problem. Aber das lässt sich bestimmt beheben.

Hi there. I have a podcast episode recorded, but I messed up.. I only have 1 audio track, but two speakers. Now, luckily we never talked over each other, plus I have a deep voice and my partner does not. I kinda need to have an audio track for each one of us to be able to master it, is there any way I can automate it? If not, I might just cut the track by hand, but it's a pretty long episode (and if I manage to mess it up again in the future..) so if there was a way to separate them that would be pretty cool. I tried to use automatic speaker detection ai but honestly I'd rather not pay extra 60 bucks for one audiofile.

Hi there,I have podcast use case.I have two audio files each from a mic for each person, however, each file has mic bleed from the other person as well . So i would like to clean up each track by keeping the main person's voice and remove or mute the second person's voice. So far I am using the Noise Reduction with Capture Voice Print. I select a sample of voice I want to remove, select that as a voice print and then apply it to the whole audio. It reduces the volume for that voice. Is there a better way, Thank you, 

Hello, I have been struggling with a problem for a week but I can't solve it. I bought an Audio Technica at 2035 microphone and an ESI U22 XT sound card, but when recording there is usually a click every 20 or 30 seconds in my recording. I tried many ways, I increased and decreased the buffer size, although the clicks are relatively less in the small buffer size, but it still exists and does not disappear. I tried different audio recording software but the problem still persists, I even changed my laptop windows but the problem still persists.We tested the microphone and sound card in the store where I bought it and this time there were no clicks and the sound was clean and clear, I am really surprised. The only way left for me is to try the record process with a new xlr cable and if it still doesn't solve the problem, I really don't know what to do. Do you have a solution for this problem? I'm really going crazy, I don't know what to do. please help me thank you very much.

When I record a podcast on Audition for Mac OS 15.1.1, after about twenty minutes, a clicking noise starts to appear on the audio track. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I’m using professional microphones and a mixing desk. I didn’t have this issue before. I haven’t changed anything in my setup except possibly the update to my Mac.THANKS a lot. J.

Hi eveyone. I usa a MAc Book Pro running Catalina 10.15.6 using the latest version of AUDITION. Where can I find my hard worked personal configuration "RACK EFFECTS PRESETS" ?I would like to back up on my external hard drive    -AND-   install my custom presets into my other computer. Any suggestions as to how to do this? Thank you.-Shawn

I bought a brand new $2000 Dell computer a couple months ago. Its way better than my old Dell computer. I have been using Scarlett 4i4 to record and playback. Worked fine on my old computer. For some reason my new computer fails to recognize the Loopback and the Analogue 3+4 so I can't record through the rear inputs. I have 2 mics plugged into the front and 2 line inputs plugged into the rear. I can hear the keyboard on my headphones thru the Scarlett, but the sound doesn't get to Audition. I have tried everything I can think of. Can anyone help?

After importing a 7 track poly wav file from my recorder, i want to do some slight editing and removing some of the tracks. I do not seem to find out how to re-render the file as a new 5 track poly wav. I can do it as a 5.1 but then i will end up with a silent track in the renderad file (LFE). Any ideas?

I almost gave up because i can't handle this problem.I checked LITERALLY all troubleshooting methods from internet but nothing works.Mic: Fifine k658 (USB) (but not important because same behaviour i have with integrated mic in laptop)Laptop: Asus FX707ZVOS: Windows 11I always used a MME device type and i know about WASAPI can fix this behaviour, but i can't use it because of worst sound quality and robotic lags on recorded sound.I tried same mic and same version of Audition on my different win10 laptop and everything is good. So it's a problem in win11 i think

extract audio from CD doesn't work, bu I can hear the CD on a Cd player, what can I do?

I'm looking to get a new Windows machine. I want Adobe Audition to love it. I want to be able to run session with loads of tracks and loads of effects and not have my machine stutter when I do. This is what I'm working with now:AMD Ryzen 9 3950 16-Core proccessor32GB of DDR4 RAMSSD system drive (550GB) but a mix of HDD and SDD for my sound libraries and project data, etc.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TiWindows 10And here's what it looks like in Task Manager while I try to work in avery a large session which the computer can't always do smoothly without stuttering the whole time:I'm currently looking at a PC Audio Labs RokBox MCX with:i9-13900K processor32GB of DDR5 RAMall SSD drives2GB Triple Display NVIDIA graphic card (unsure precisely what model it is, but probably the same NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti)Windows 11 Can anyone tell me if it looks like I'm making a wise choise? I am using Adobe and I'm on the UA platform. Has anyone figured out how to route the built in metronome/click BACK into a normal track in Adobe? I want to record the click as I record other tracks I can send that out for mixing/mastering.
