Audition

When I select all my tracks and select Export->Multitrack Mixdown->Selected Clips... it takes me to a dialog to select how I want to store it. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what format I choose, nothing is exported! This is critical for my podcast. Do you know what I can do? I'm running Version 24 on a MacBook Air M1 running Sequoia 15.1.

Everytime I load up the adobe site and try to access audition it simply says it is not compatible with my system, even though I more than meet the requirements. My specs are listed below, perhaps I am missing something? Processor - Intel i7-9700k OS - windows 11 version 23H2Memory - 16 gb of RAM available GPU - NVIDIA 3060 with 19 gb of memory available  storage - 170 gb available display - 1920 x 1080 monitor sound card - ASIO 2.15 downloaded Network - Ethernet connected

Hallo Leute! Ich bin bei meinem Audition auf ein sehr ärgerliches Problem gestoßen. Ich verwende es um Podcasts aufzuzeichnnen und dafür die Auto-Ducking Funktion. Dabei richte ich mich nach den Vorgaben von Adobe. Also die Musi,k wird als solches gekennzeichnet, die Ducking Eigenschaften festgelegt und danach jeder Clip mit Sprache auch als Sprache markiert. Das funktioniert.  Dann speichere ich das Porjekt. Wenn ich dann das Projekt wieder lade, ist in den Eigenschaften das Auto Ducking (samt aller Markierungen als Musik und Sprache) noch immer vorhanden, aber einige der Clips (nicht alle) interessiert das offensichtlich nicht, weil sich da urplötzlich sämtliche Clips (also Musik und Sprache) in derselben Lautstärke wiedergegeben werden. Da hilft dann nicht ein neues Einstellen, etc. Man muss den Clip löschen und wieder neu auf der Spur platzieren.  Irgendwer eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?  Gruß aus Graz

I'm having a v annoying problem with audition. When I hit record the volume bar shows an inital spike, and then drops off. Nothing is recorded except from a vague crack at the start, and the playhead jumps ~1s at a time. It also seems like what is recorded is a LOT shorter than what I try to record (if I record 10s of me talking, for example, Audition turns that into 2s of audio) I've tried different microphones (including my laptop default), all of which work on Audacity, but all have the same problem on Audition. I've tried in both waveform and multi-wave, but neither work. I've checked that the sample rate on preferences is the same as that of my microphone and it is. I'm stuck! Any advice/suggestions?

Alguien sabe que herramienta puedo utilizar porfavor?Ya utilice disminucion de reverberacion y sigue sin poder escucharse adecuadamente. English:Hello, good evening, I have a podcast channel and I recently recorded a chapter but I forgot to turn off the secondary audio channels and it was recorded with an echo in my voice, the participant's voice did not happen at all, everything was fine.I would like to remove that echo or reverberation effect that can be heard. Does anyone know what tool I can use please?I have already used reverberation reduction and it still cannot be heard properly.

What do I do wrong currently? While working in multitrack mode and trying to move individual items, audition constantly opens that track. In preference settings I have this checbox, multitrack clips, bring clips to front, off! What elso can I do?  There is no option for double click to open tracks. Hello everyone, I use Adobe Audition 2022 Build 22.0.0.96 and as I made the problem clear in the title when I export a file as MP3 with 320 kbps quality via Audition, frequencies between 16 kHz and 20 kHz are cut off.  this problem is independent of the source file. for example, when I export a FLAC file as MP3 this happens. When I edit a full frequencies range MP3 file (20 Hz - 20 kHz) and than export it this problem also happens too. The funny thing is that when I do the export process with Audacity which is a free and open source software, this problem does not happen. I tried the same experiment with other paid softwares such as Acoustica 7, iZotope Ozone 9, iZotope RX 9 Audio Editor, and as I mentioned, frequencies above 16 kHz are not cut like Audition in any of them. I think this problem is caused by Fraunhofer MP3 Encoder but I can't do anything to change it. Hi thanks for taking the time to read.I'm using Audition with a Rodecaster Pro and downloaded ASIO4ALL as specificed in the Rode instructions: RCP_Multitrack_Guidelines_Audition_PC.pdf (rode.com) Using ASIO works fine to record multi-track however I can't listen back to the recording unless I switch to MME. How can I fix this? I saw a similar question asked in 2018 where the answer stated it's not possible - I wonder if things had changed 3 years later. Thanks

I have around 50 clips, some a few seconds and others one minute, from a number of recordings: one male and one female. I've run a 50Hz low pass filter across them, as well as a perceived loudness (legacy) which has helped get the loudness levels right. However, the male voice carries a lot more bass so, compared to the female voice, it doesn't appear to deliver the higher frequencies and annunciation gets lost in the lower frequencies.  I have tried Vocal Enhancer under parametric equaliser to cut more lower frequencies and lift the upper ones but this is subtle. When comparing the two they still sound distinctly different.  Is there a way of batch processing all clips so that the graphics are equalised? That is, the lower frequencies of the male match those of the female? TIA

Hello,  I did my first oral history interview using 3 microphones run through a Mackie mixer output to a Zoom H5 recorder. I used two SM-58 and a SENNHEISER MKE 600 SHOTGUN using the phantom power switch of the mixer. I will say that I am not a professional sound engineer but have had some experience in the past. I tested all the gear out ahead of time as well but did not expect to get feedback. I am also just learning Audition. My hunch is that the feedback might have been caused by the reflective surfaces but that is all it is at this point. No speakers were setup so that can be ruled out as culprit.  The interviewee was captured on the left channel (Sennheiser) and the two interviewers (SM-58s) were captured on the right channel. We recorded it in a library with no sound dampening. The microphones were set on a wood table with their windscreens. I set the gain on the Zoom recorder to 8 to achieve about a -12 db level. I'm working on a project that has a number of effects laid in to get a vintage radio sound for a video. I'm not done with the script yet but have worked out the audio effects as I'd like to use them. I'm not seeing how to save this non-destructively so I can come back later and record different narration then apply the affects I have in my rack right now. This seems incredibly basic so I'm assuming I'm missing something pretty obvious, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks! ~Ross

Hello, I am trying to use the Schoeps Double MS plugin with Adobe Audition 2020.  I am able to use the plugin and it seems to be splitting the audio the way it was intended.1. Set channels 1, 2 and 3 to front, center and rear mics respectively.2. Add the plugin to the effects rack3. The plugin opens and seems to split the channels properly, everything sounds like I expect it to through my system (Focusrite Clarett 8PreX thunderbolt device with Yamaha HS8 Monitors, one per channel, Windows 10, Razer 17 inch laptop with thunderbolt connection and Adobe Audition CC 2020).  I can hear the surround mix and use the plugin to change the stereo image without issue. The problem I am having is how to export this to a new multi track session?  Applying the plugin doesn't seem to stick the stereo configuration as expected. Any help would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Jason

Hello,In multitrack mode, I have some instrument tracks, and I am sending some to a separate reverb bus, all of which goes to the main mix. My issue is when I'm jumping around with the cursor, the new playback includes the remnant reverb tail from the previous playback stop point. Details:I play a section with music. I hit stop, all sound cuts off, including reverb tails. Then, i move the cursor anywhere else, and specifically, let's say a section without sound like the very beginning or end. When I press play again, I hear the rest of the reverb tail playout from the previous section I was playing. It doesn't matter how long i stop the playback for, when i restart it plays out the rest of the reverb. If i quickly stop, and then start again, the reverb will continued to play out. Is this normal? If I scrub in an empty area of the mutlitrack edit, I hear the reberb sound scrubbing until it dissipates. If I mute the reverb bus at any point, it doesn't happen.  It's happened for

I get this pop up no less than 50 times a day!  It happens when Audition is open and when it's closed.  I've checked for updates.  I'm running the current version.  Happening to anyone else?  Got a fix?

the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) for adobe audition. i googled and tried different methods here in the adobe community, unfortunately didn't work. Can anyone help me how to solve the problem?

Is there a way to copy & paste keyframes in Audition?I have a revised music track but the rest of the audio is the same. I'd like to copy the volume keyframes from the old music track to the revised track, as the dips will all remain the same for the revised track, rather than doing all the work all over again.'Seems like this should be a simple copy/paste attributes but I can't find any option to do that.Am I missing something somewhere?I'm using Audition CC Build 11.1.0.184On a mid-2014 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.3Note:  I'm cross posting this to Adobe Feature Requests as I believe this should be a feature.Thanks!~ART~

Hi everybody. Please help me with the problem in adobe audition. I made a gradual overlay of the effect on the track through the bus, but the effect is applied before the points begin (and end), which show the place where the effect is applied. I will be very glad if you help! 

Hello, I have a multi-hour audio file that contains several commercial breaks. Each commercial break begins with a unique 3-second sound clip. Is there a way to use this distinctive sound to locate all other instances where the commercial break occurs? Are there any tools or methods that can help with this?Thanks for any help.
