Audition

I'm new to Adobe Audtion, and not technical.  How do I export the audio I created?  To an email or directly onto my website?   [Moved to a thread of its own to reduce confusion in the original thread. I'm recording an eLearning course that's a couple of hours long but will be broken down into hundreds of much shorter files. If I put markers in at the split points for later export from the main audio file, is there an easy way to rename all these markers to the file names that my client wants? I have these file names in a column on a spreadsheet, and I'm hoping there's a way to copy them from the spreadsheet and paste them into the marker names in Audition (one cell from the spreasheet = one marker in Audition) without having to do it one at a time. I'm also open to other ways of getting the job done, if anyone knows of any. Thanks,Brian

I'm currently trying to use the opus .ogg format in Adobe Audition CC 2017 but it gives me the error "AmioLSF plug in could not open the file, Code 17, File contains an unimplemented data format." We're a radio station and get voice memos sent in through whatsapp and they're encoded in the opus .ogg format. We need to find a way to edit them on the fly and not convert them first. how can i add effects on the recording while its being recorded 

Hello, I am having a problem losing my keyboard shortcuts when I exit Adobe Audition, having to reset them when I restart the program. I tried saving as a "keyboard layout preset", with no results. I think there might be a save button at the bottom of the screen, but Audition won't let me resize the shortcut window and I can't see it on my small, small laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to use the Hiss Reduction effect, but when I click Capture Noise Floor only the noise floor for the right channel is captured. Procedure:Open stereo audio file in the waveform editorActivate the Hiss Reduction effectSelect some audioClick Capture Noise FloorOnly the right channel noise floor is captured, left channel remains flat I have tried changing the Noise Floor Capture settings in the advanced section of the Hiss Reduction effect. I also tried selecting audio with more noise/sound. Is this a bug? Build: 14.2.0.34Platform: macOS 10.15.7

Hi Again, Folks,    In my new version of Adobe Audition, when I mixdown to halftrack, and I increase the volume level there, it does not save.  If I have the levels right up to optimum in multi track mode and then mixdown to half track, and the level is up where it needs to be, it will save, but again, if I increase it at the half track mode, when I do a Save As, it will save it at the level it was at in Multi Track mode.  Is there a setting that needs to be changed so that when I increase the volume in Half Track mode, it will save.  What I've had to do is, take the wav of the mixdown, import it into a new project, put it in a channel (1), increase the volume there, then do a Mixdown To New File, so that the level is already up where it needs to be, then it will save.  In my old version, I didn't have this problem.  When I do have to increase the volume level, it's only slight - 1 or 2 db.

Hello there, please help me as i am trying to export a file on adobe audition but it comes out completely silent and i am loosing my head wondering why.   I think i set the right outgoing and ingoing (even though it should'nt matter for export ?) yet my audio has the right time but is silent. Please help me as this is a work i'm supposed to be giving out tonight.   *i am with adobe audition 2023, on mac   Thank you !!

Is it possible to add Play/Stop/Pause button for separate track? That will allow to work more effectively in Mixer Mode?

Hi Everyone, Ive just crossed over from PremPro a week ago to start doing vocal editing here instead. Great so far. But quick quesiton if you have a spare moment (its probably a super simple answer that has just eluded me). I made effects updates to 25 audio files during the week, and plugged in tonight to finish off the rest. I had been experimenting until I found a sound I liked, which I was able to remember long enough to apply to all of the files individually in Waveform, before I mixed them in Multitrack. Tonight I went to finish the new core edits in Waveform onthe rest of the files, but I cant find the hand written list of effect settings I used on the other files. Is there any way of working out from the session files which effects I had used in Waveform? Meta data? The none destructive effects I applied in the multitrack are still clearly visible. I just need to find a list of the effects I applied in Waveform. Be gentle 🙂 D

Hi everyone !I have a short 5 second segment of audio on my timeline, I do not want to use remix. I want to just copy and paste this 5 seconds of audio over and over again until I have about 5 minutes total.  I have tried to copy and paste, - this works great, but it only works a single time. Doing it again doesn't do anything.  Thanks for any help !

I'm looking for sound effects resources and was wondering if Adobe has any?I know about other 3rd party providers but I noticed Adobe has vids and graphics etc for Video, wondering if there is an audio component also.

I'm using a Sidechain compressor, and its functioning completely differently on playback than it is on mixdown. Why is this happening? (Most updated version of the application, Windows 10)

Since the latest major update, I cannot get sidechain compression to do anything. I've been using  premiere project where I bounce the audio to Audition each week for the sole purpose of sidechain compression on music. Now, rather than compressing the music track (keying off of the dialog track), it just applies compression all the time as if I hadn't assigned a side chain bus. (Build 13.0.0.519)

I'm pretty sure this is a Windows 11 issue but maybe someone here will be able to help.I recently purchased an M-Track Duo audio mixer to use for a podcast. I have two xlr mics plugged in. When i create a new podcast session it seems to work ok for a few seconds. Then the audio shuts off completely. When i try to record nothing really happens (see screenshots). I've matched the windows settings to the podcast settings but I can't figure it . EDIT: I can get it to record if i unplug it and plug it back in. However, it will record for about 1 minute before the mic audio just drops completely.

I make totally rubbish unboxing videos - I have the creativity of a brick. Because of that, I don't get the viewership that earns me the money to go and buy licenses for music.However, I make them for the fun and the mental health benefits. But trying to find tracks that fit a timeframe is tough, and uneconomical. So I remembered that Soundbooth had the SCORE feature, where it can intelligently build out a backing track to fit any duration you need. Magic.Contacted Adobe,  they confirmed my license and gave me access to the "full" installs... but they didn't include the score packs, just the two base-install ones. Naturally, the Resource Exchange no longer carries anything that old either.So, I turn to the community and ask if anyone has the disc and is willing to share the Soundbooth resource packs with a fellow legit-licensee please?

I have recently recorded a zoom audio interview with 3 guests. But one of the guest everytime he speaks there is this sound of a garment rubbing against their microphone. I would appreciate any tips on how I go about editing out this noise without damaging the vocal voice?Many thanks,Bob.

Cuando grabo locuciones en Audition se suelen producir claps, clips, o como quieras llamarle que no han sido provocados por mí (no son ruidos bucales) ni por el micro o la interfaz. Incluso he probado a grabar durante un minuto sin voz por si fuera algún problema de micro o interfaz de audio y en este caso no se generan dichos ruidos.¿Podéis decirme qué puedo hacer? Es que luego son muy complicados, cuando no imposibles, de limpiar sin estropear la grabación.Gracias.

This may be a shot in the dark but I honestly don't know where to turn in order to even understand the problem we're having. I'll do my best to interpret what's going on but just know I won't have all the answers. I stream a church service every Sunday. Our music director paired with our freelance sound guy were experimenting with the different effects for the music for that Sunday service. Nothing sounded out of the ordinary besides the delay they added to the vocals of the music director's mic. It was subtle but could be easily missed if you weren't paying attention. After everything was said and done I kept getting weird responces from others saying there was a weird echo to the music. I thought they were just talking about the delay that was intentionally added but I needed to check the pastors mic levels anyway and when I played the video there's a very noticeable echo when the music director is playing. I have a couple of effects in the rack on a Waveform clip. I have to click Apply so they will render and export. After it renders, the effects dissappear in the rack and the clip reverts back to the original state. The export is the same as the original - the effects didn't take effect.  Adution 14.4

I have no idea why, but when trying to export my audio podcast (18.5 minutes) from Audition, it's 25GB file, with your average quality standards. When I tried to reduce the quality, you couldn't hear anything in the audio at all. It seems like it's saving or rendering all of my unedited waveform tracks that I used to culminate my multitrack but I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it. This is an assignment and this problem has made me way late in submission - help!

My question is as stated in the title.
