Hi,I have a process I follow:Record audio using a microphone and save to WAV.After having recorded multiple files I wish to ensure they're all like for like. Let's take 3 files as an example.I "batch process" the files - bit of EQ and a bit of compression.I "Match Loudness" on all the files. Then the files are all saved as new WAVs.To my shock, twice in the last couple of months, I have found that one of the files has a "glitch". Audition has taken approximately one second of file 2 and overwritten one second within file 3.In the latest glitch it has taken audio from 00:11 to 00:12 in file 2 and overwritten 00:10 to 00:11 in file 3.Has anyone else experienced this issue?I'm using v23.1 of Audition, but this issue was also there in a previous version. Thanks
Hello I want to move the starting time of all my markers backwards half a second.Chat GPT came up with this: // Define the time offset (in seconds) to move the markers var timeOffset = -0.5; // Half a second backward // Get the active session var activeSession = app.activeSession; // Check if there's an active session if (activeSession) { // Get all markers in the active session var markers = activeSession.markers; // Iterate through all markers for (var i = 0; i < markers.numMarkers; i++) { var marker = markers.getMarker(i); // Calculate the new position for the marker var newStartTime = marker.startTime + timeOffset; // Update the marker's position marker.startTime = newStartTime; } // Refresh the view to see the changes activeSession.view.refresh(); } else { alert("No active session found. Please open an audio file in Adobe Audition."); } my issue is that i keep getting the message "No active seesionfound. please ope
I recorded a piano using only 1 mic. How can I create a stereo image from this so that the low notes comes out of the left channel, the high notes comes out of the right channel, and the middle notes is in the middle, like when you're playing the piano?
Does anyone else have a problem using pre-render? Usually when I try to pre-render a track in Audition CC (Build 11.1.1.3) the track just cuts out after a few seconds, as if I'd muted that track. If I unclick the Pre-render butting, it goes back to normal. Can I possibly be doing something wrong?
On the macOS version of Audition 2020 (13.0.7.38), File > Export > Session does _NOTHING_ at all. It does not even write the *.sesx file. What's going on? The latest update messed up a bunch of things in Audition including this. Uninstalling/reinstalling has not helped. Rebooting has not helped. Since 2019 has issues with VST3 plugins, I'm having to ALL THE WAY BACK to 2017 for the moment. Anyone know what to do about this? Anyone else having this problem (or able to test)?

By default, the length of a multitrack is 30 seconds, but there doesn't seem to be a way to shorten it. I'm working on an audio file that's less than 1 second, and it's irritating to have to manually stop it all the time. It should just automatically stop when it gets to the end of all tracks. Is it possible to set this somewhere?
Hello, I have the latest version of Audition (automatic update). In this program I want to capture the spectral frequency of an animal sound as an image/photo so that I can use it in a presentation or for identification. How can I create that image?
Hello all,I've looked around a lot for answers to a problem I'm having but to no avail so am posting here.I have 2 mics connected to my computer via USB through an external audio interface. I have no trouble in audition setting up/recording on seperate tracks for these. However, I also want to add a third track that is recording internal computer sounds (I.e Spotify). By now you can probably guess where I'm going with my project. In any case Audition will only allow me to set one audio hardware default output (That being either the stereo output for the computer sound, or the output for the audio interface capturing the mic sounds). It seems I can only record one or the other, I've played around a bit and unable to resolve. Does anyone have a quick explanation for how to properly set this up? Happy to explain further if I've butchered this hah!Any help is massively appeciated!
I have tons of clips in the multitrack and want to make all the volume levels (not gain levels) set to 0 db.Is there an easy way to do that without clicking and dragging all 500 clips?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one suffeirng this. I'd welcome any advice if you've encountered this or a similar failure. I currently use my MBP M1 for audio editing along with an external sound card (Focusrite Scarlett 8Pre) which connects via USB-C in my studio. This set up works perfectly. Once I disconnect from the Scarlett and take my MBP eslewhere to edit, Adobe refuses to play audio in multitrack when I have headphones connected via the headphone jack. I can play audio in single track, but in multitrack the programme just hangs. All the transport buttons grey out, so I have no choice but to force close the app and re-open it only to experience the same thing again. The only workaround, which in all honesty isn't a workaround is to uninstall and reinstall Adobe. Once I do that, it operates as it should do. This is the first time I've made the move to a laptop for audio editing, so it's all very new to me. If you have any advice or guidance, it would be gre
Hi, Newbie here. I am using Audition Build 24 on a Mac running OS Monterey 12.6.9 I am editing tracks for a podcast and one track consistently deselects itself and turns the Mute button on the moment I try to play it. (First image: it is selected and the Mute button is deselected) As soon as I hit the spacebar or click the 'Play' button (second image) the track greys out and the Mute button is illuminated. I seem to have managed a work-around. I created a new mono track and bounced the selection to it. But I am curious to know if anyone else has had this problem and is it something quite simple that I am doing (an incorrect button selected, perhaps) or if it is a glitch that appeared during saving the file, or what?
I recently received the update for Audition CC 2018, which I immediately installed because I like new stuff. And I have to say, I've been met with nothing but issues while using it since. One of the most annoying issues that I'm facing is that audio playback for files recorded on my computer (this does not apply to audio files imported from elsewhere) is out of sync with what the indicator on screen would suggest.Basically, I can hear audio about half a second before the waveform starts on my screen. In the image below, I can hear the audio where the indicator currently is, even though the wave doesn't start until a later moment. However, when I go into the waveform editor by double-clicking the track, everything seems to be running in sync. Furthermore, I can select part of the track and remove it, and the correct piece will be removed. I honestly have no idea what might be causing this, but it's making it very difficult to edit my projects like this.I am running Windows 10 Pro, and thi

Dear Community!I hope this finds you well. I am reaching out to you regarding an issue I am facing as an Arabic teacher. I am currently using Adobe Audition to record audio books for my students. As you are aware, our students are classified into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In order to cater to the needs of each level, I require the ability to differentiate the audio recordings.Specifically, I need your support in providing me with the necessary steps to create pauses within the recordings and to slow down the pace of the audio to match the learning pace of the beginner students.I appreciate your prompt assistance in this matter.Regards,
Hi, why is the menu bar of Audition white instead of dark ?How can I make in black ? or at least hide it ?It is disturbing to have a bright light on a full dark screen. In fact it completely disables the advantage of dark mode. Regards
I've been using Audition for many years now. I use it all day, every day. And I consider myself to be VERY comfortable with the inner workings of Audition. How is it, almost EVERY time there's a "left side of the decimal" update, Audition loses all its preferences, keyboard shortcuts, effects presets etc.. And I get to spend the next several days trying to find and recover preferences. And yes, I checked the box to import preferences from the old version. You'd think after all this time Adobe would be able to figure this out and make it "idiot proof", because apparently I AM one. *Also, I've had three crashes since updating.
Minha última atualização trouxe duas versões: a beta e a 2024. Qual a diferença entre ambas?
Dear expert community members, I am facing a perplexing issue:— I am editing a podcast in Multitrack view,— I am adding an effect to a particular track in the effects rack (my current case: a noise gate from the "Dynamics ..." submenu),— I am changing a parameter (say, threshold from -20 to -30 db),— I am closing the effects dialog window to work on something else. I can now playback the track and everything works nicely. HOWEVER: When I return to the same effects setting, say because I want to tweak it, it returns to default *the moment I open the settings window* ("Dynamics ..." in this case). So I can only effect the settings one single time — as soon as I go back to the settings, they switch off (!) and default back to the company setting. Is anyone else experiencing this? And what can I do about it? On here, I have only found a single post from 2017 that deals with a similar issue, but it was resolved in ways that do not work for me. I have tried re-installing Audition,
Good day Adobe Community, Besides mixing meters, waveform, spectral frequency and plug-in readouts, does Audition have any general audio scopes? I am looking into ways to 'see' any type of audio changes, especially for effects. Some changes are so subtle in volume/effect (the less is more approach) they are difficult to percieve, even with flat frequency response openback over-the-ear headphones. Thank you for sheding some light on any discoverables.
Bearing in mind that AA does not directly support MIDI recording, is there a way to access and record Native Instruments sound sources via VST plugins or clever channel routing?
Eu sem querer apaguei o preset "Guitar Charmer" do efeito "Tube Modeled Compressor", há alguma forma de recuperar o preset? I accidentaly deleted a preset called "Guitar Charmer" from the effect "Tube Modeled Compressor", is there a way to recover the preset?
