Bridge

I recently updated Photoshop and Bridge to the newest versions last week. I tried to use Image Processor in Bridge to resize a batch of JPG files and got an error message telling me to update Bridge to the newest version. I thought I already had the newest version but I guess there was a security update in the last few days, so I updated it again. I then tried to do the same action of opening images with Image Processor in Bridge but this time got an error message to "Update to the newest version of Photoshop". I checked the Adobe CC program for Photoshop updates and refreshed it, however I don't see any newer version. Both Photoshop and Bridge show "Up to date" on the program tab. How can I get Image Processor to work?

Pero que hayan pasado ya mas de 15 dias , y no hayan sido capaces de solucionar los errores.....ADOBE , esto no va bien........ Tras la 1a "cagada" de actualización , vino una 2a actualización , pero seguimos con muchos problemas!!!Esta mañana , tras 30 minutos de trabajo , ya se me ha bloqueado 2 veces!!Si a esto le añadimos que constantemente la pantalla parpadea!! (queda muy "chic" cuando tienes que enseñar fotos a un cliente , si , si....(ironia).Y que de vez en cuando el puntero desaparece , y hay que cerrar el programa , y volverlo abrir.... etc etc...  Le recuerdo a Adobe que muchos trabajamos diariamente con este

Hi there! I often have to number batches of images exported from PDFs. Here's an example: I have a bunch of images named PN_1.jpg. PN_2.jpg, etc. These have been exported from a magazine PDF named "PN."  I want them to remain in the same order, but I want to rename them... 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg... etc. JUST numbers.  So I would be happy with a way to do this right from when I export them from the PDF OR just renumbering them after I export them.  I'm sure there is a way to do this, but I can't figure out how. These images will be uploaded to a website, so they have to be named a specific way.  I'm using an iMac.  Thank you! 

Tools>Photoshop has been deprecated right before your eyes. Go to your CC app and look for an alternative version of Photoshop (23.5.5) If you have Photoshop 2022 installed on your machines DO NOT uninstall it.  It is the only version of Ps that Bridge can access via Tools>Photoshop and has been made unavailable by Adobe Feel free to make as much noise as possible about this. P.S. I have a workaround.  More later

The Topaz AI  doesn't appear in Bridge's "Open In" option. You will need to browse for it whenever you want to use it.

It is unclear to me if the constant, 12+ month old conflict between Br 12 and Br 14 users is platform based or not.  It appears that most of the comments about poor Br development since Br 12 have been voiced by Windows users.  Are any contemporary or historical Mac users suffering under the dramatic performance drop-off  between Br 12 and Br 13, and the subsequent version Br 14?

Hi  - when I work on an image in Camera Raw- the changes are not being made when I close Camera Raw and go back to Essentials. In the past - the changes would be seen in the images in Essentials.        

Hi there, I have seen many old posts but no definitive answer as to if Adobe Bridge supports preview thumbnails of h265 mp4 videos files on Windows 11. Windows 11 explorer displays thumbails in icon view and Media Player shows thumbnails. I downloaded and installed the K-lite media player and cleared the cache on Bridge but no preview thumbnails. Thanks,Ric

Hello. When I run Bridge it shows me my pictures much darker than they actually are and when I open them in CAMERA RAW settings are changed so the histogram is diferent from the one I can see in my camera settings. This also happens in Finder Mac and Adobe Light Room but in Light room Classic the RAW is exactly the same I can see in my camera.  I do not think is a Color profile settings. Can anyone help me? Lorsque je renomme des fichiers en lot; Bridge bloque et me créer des fichiers "AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp1- Nom choisi"C'est une grosse perte de temps sur le WorkflowJe suis photographe et cette erreur était déjà là avant, mais sur les dernières versions c'est de pire en pire.Exemple pour 812 fichiers à renommer; j'ai réessayé 6 fois, 6 plantages.Je travaille sur mac pro 2019 avec 1 disc PCI express pour le système, 1 disc PCI express pour l'utilisateur; 1 disc PCI express pour la mémoire cache.   

Salutations,Bridge was already slow, with the very latest version it got even slower.With folders of 800-900 images (raw) it cannot be used for sorting and rating photos.Also setting the fastest parameters for previews.Scrolling in full screen freezes, or is very slow (5-7 seconds to scroll between one photo and another!)Also for such large folders I don't know why it doesn't keep the preview in mind. (values in the options all ok)I tried to clear the cache of that folder and regenerate it from the beginning, but with no solution.Will you solve the problem with the next version?So I can't use it.Thank you

12/29/23Please I need help! I got adobe bridge 2023 (Ver. 13.0.5 to be precise) application that's taking up 1.65 GB space that I need back and ive tried all conceivable ways to try and get rid of it.I have attempted uninstalling from : the PC settings, tried virtual assistant but it was no help, the windows control panel, the adobe creative cloud app, ive tried the recommendation of installing the new version to try and uninstalling the old one from the 3 dot setting from the app itself and the settings within creative cloud, ive also tried the advance settings of adobe bridge in the preferences tab to remove any and all old versions on the preferences tab in my profile but its still there.Any attempt to un install would only work on the new version and the old one would still sit there taking the space. The old version would do a split second uninstall then finish but it would still be there.I have searched up countless ways and its either what

The latest version of Bridge is not able to preview any psd (psdt) files.Is this a bug or do I have to activate the preview in the settings? OS: Windows

Since turning on my computer this morning, I cannot open Bridge without "Unknown error; quitting application" appearing and I have to agree OK and quit. Bridge was working just fine when I closed it last night.I've restarted my computer and the error remains. I've update Bridge to the latest version and the error remains. I'm using ....Bridge v13.0.1macOS Monterey Version 12.6Please, what can I do to get Bridge working again? 

Hey all, after collaborating on creating assets our team has realized it would have been ideal to be consistent with file name Case Usage (DOH). Is there a way to batch rename to 'Sentence or Lower Case? Thanks in advance! JA

Having a lot of trouble with camera raw today... Whenever I try to open an image in Bridge, it will freeze and nonthing will happen. Just hangs indefninately. jpeg, png, raw image format (.NEF), nothing will open in camera raw. Never crashes either, just frozen. Files are stored on a local drive, not a network. Alternatively, I if try to right click a image and open with photoshop, same issue still arises. Just hangs. Nothing happens, never crashes. Dragging an dropping an image from bridge or even directly from file explorer into photoshop won't work either. Anything to do with camera raw doesn't work, it seems. Only way to close bridge is with task manager. What i've tried I've tried clearing the cache, reducing thumbnail file size to 100mb, good ol' rebooting, reinstalling bridge & photoshop, reinstalling camera raw, reinstalling GPU drivers (I run a GTX 1070), disabling hardware acceleration. Hello.Since few weeks ago, Adobe Bridge has started crashing when selectiong batch rename function.

I do my raw developing in LR, then close it down and use Bridge 9.1 for organizing and previewing files, then opening them up in PS. Once I close LR and go back to Bridge, I see that the thumbnails repopulate to show the edits I made in LR. All of a sudden today, the thumbnails are not updating. Not only that, when I open the images in PS RAW, the updates aren't showing there either! As a test, I opended Bridge 8 and the thumbs are all updated. I tried restarting all the programs as well as my computer, and the thumbs just will not update in Bridge 9. Help please!

Quite a while Bridge ( also the previous releases) keeps giving me the trouble of not opening all my directories on my Windows 10 PC.I have to startup the program 2 or 3 times to get access to all my directories.When I close the program, I also get the message that Bridge is trying to recover but this process never ends.Several attempts are already done by Microsoft by means of sending an auto generated report to Microsoft about that problem, but I never get an answer about a possible solution.Is there a work around to get rid of this annoying issue?Are there more customers with this same issue? I am curious about how to get rid of this phenomenon. 

I have 10 family photos a day, the pictures are in a "raw" folder. I give these out to the families for selection one by one via the pic-time.com web gallery. The selected pictures are marked in the web gallery in the gallery and when they are done, they click on the "Send to photographer" button. Then I get an email that a family has finished sorting. By going to the administration interface, I can download the list as a csv file, but there is also an option called "Copy for Lightroom". The filenames of the selected files will then be placed on the clipboard without extensions (e.g.: "DSC_6918,DSC_6949,DSC_6970"), and the selected files will appear when pasted into Lightroom's search field. My question is, can Bridge also do this? I can search for one file at a time, but only if I add new search lines. But this is a lot of work, I want to paste my list and the found files e.g. copy to a separate folder. What do you think?

I want to batch rename a bunch of files (or possibly folders) with the sequence 'name_AA, name_AB... name_BA, name_BB, name_BC' etc.using letter sequence bridge starts with single letters then moves to doubles. Is there any way of doing double letters from the start, as there is with number sequence?

Is there a way for that? I would like to avoid using a mouse.
