Bridge

Dear all,I am quite new to the Adobe ecosystem, at the moment I have a question that I have not found an answer:I export my RAW images to jpg with a workflow I have created. I include all the metadata. When I look at the jpgs i.e. in apple photo, the date of the image is the date of the export. I would love to display and sort the jpgs according to their picture date. Is there any way?Thanks a lot for your helpPhil 

It was working fine, but now it doesn't get to the first screen before it crashes.  Don't know what has changed!  Any thoughts?

Hallo,Bridge ist mit dem erneuten Update nun endgültig unbrauchbar. Die Skalierung auf einem 31 Zoll 4k  Monitor ist katastrophal. (Die Windows Skalierung steht auf 150%, ist empfohlen und passt super)200% bzw Auto - unfassbar riesige Buttons und kaum Platz für das Bild.  Hier 100% - unlesbar kleine Schrift. Das kann doch nur ein schlechter Witz sein. 2020 war schon unbrauchbar und das wurde nicht gefixt in Bridge 2021? 4k Monitore sind doch gerade im Foto/Video Bereich weit verbreitet...

l'm switching from PC to IMac and have CC installed on both computers. I'm not sure how best to move photos from my old computer to to the IMac. All I do know (I think) is that I can do it via an eternal hard drive or computer to computer. Can you fill me in on the proper procedure for both methods?Thanks,Cantconform2 

For the last two days I have been experiencing image previews (CR2, JPG, TIF) that are flickering during my editing process. The images are trying to load but they flicker on and off and occaisionally will look "glitchy" or corrupt, but soon load after a few minutes of visul aerobatics. This is an important folder of files that I have been working on for two days and can't lose.I'm on a iMac system running Mac OS 10.14.6 and my version of Bridge is 10.0.3Thank you.

bridge wont open in windows 10.

My Bridge shows this message instead of the images. How can I fix it?

I've been using Photoshop since PS3, but today Bridge crashes anytime I select an image. I hard booted my WIN 10 computer, reinstalled Bridge, purged the cache, and reset preferences. Bridge still crashes as soon as I select my first image - and I've tried using different images on different drives. Bridge, and thus the Creative Suite, is now unusable for me. All my other apps work.

I'm trying to create a workflow to resize images for social media.  I've set it to 1600px at longest length and 300px/in, and 7 as image quality, but it's still only bringing file size down to 1.5mb.  I've resized images in Photoshop to 1600px longest length, 300 px/in and 77% quality and it brings the file size down to the early - mid hundreds of kb.  Is there any way I can bring filesize down to around 4/500kb whilst maintaining decent quality in a workflow in Bridge?Thanks for your help, Cat

I have brought all photos files in the bridge. instad opening one file at atime how can i sellect all files and open photes in the bridge?

It's pretty clear by now that Adobe isn't enlisting feedback from professionals who use Bridge when they make "improvements." For those who edit thousands of images a day, Lightroom is clunky. Thus, I use Bridge. I'd love to test out Bridge for future releases so the mistakes of Bridge 2019 aren't repeated. How do I get on the list to help Adobe?

Hello all!    Firstly, I have already read the other post on this issue in the community. I have purged all my cache. I have changed the sorting orders and refinements in the Bridge app. But still, my star ratings do not work unless at times  it allows me to apply these star ratings on the original memory card. But it never works on drives that I transfer files to.    It seems the only solution anyone has found is to do these ratings on the initial cards/drives. But this entirely defeats the purpose of Bridge as well as the workflow for me as a photographer who is often dumping crds in order to conitue shooting withiout having time to go through all the files and rate them.   Adobe, please tell me you have a solution for this!   {Thread renamed by moderator}   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Ho un problema con la maschera automatica "Seleziona Soggetto" di Camera RAW se le mie foto le apro tramite Bridge.Se da Bridge apro le foto in CameraRAW e utilizzo Seleziona Soggetto la maschera viene completamente sbagliata se invece la stessa foto la apro con PhotoShop la selezione viene perfetta.Io utilizzo un Mac Studio con processore Apple M1 Max. Potete aiutarmi a risolvere il problema? Allego due screenshot di esempio. Grazie

warum funktioniert bei mir in bridge öffnen mit, nicht? rechtsklick aufs foto dann sollte ich doch auswählen können mit welcher softwaere ich das foto öffnen möchte. leider bei mir nicht der fall.dasselbe problem, datei öffnen mit, ist ausgegraut?nun hat jemand eine antwort an was es liegen könnte, wie ich das problem lösen kann??herzlichen dank

If you are wanting to use dual monitors in Bridge you are out of luck. After spending hours looking at youtube, forums and speaking to Adobe support I have come to the conclusion there is no way to use dual monitors in Bridge.Disappointing as it is...  save yourself the time....

Can bridge windows be spread, not streach, in two monitors?Like tumbnails on left and prewiew windows on right?

I'm having problems deleting .MOV files from Bridge v. 12.0.2.252. The following sequence fails to delete .mov files: Open Bridge Preview a .mov file by double-clicking on it Close the preview window From Bridge click on the video’s thumbnail and hit the delete key The file disappears from Bridge. Open Files Explorer, navigate to the file’s former location and poof, it’s still there. Hit refresh in Explorer and it’s still there. From Bridge, search for the “deleted” file name and Bridge finds it! Double-click on it and it loads. Clear the Bridge search and return to the previous folder and blammo! The “deleted” file is back! If you skip the preview step, deleting from Bridge works just fine. I prefer to preview my videos before I delete them. Thanks! VLC Media player 3.0.16 is my default .mov player. So, I'm not sure if this is a bug.here's the problem: Sometimes when I reopen Bridge, a gallery I'm working in that was previously cached in full suddenly decides it needs to regenerate all thumbnails, which can take a while (I have it create monitor sized previews). I usually work from either a local NAS or thumb drive.What can cause this??"Compact cache on exit" is UNchecked. There's always room to spare in total cache too (just now it happened; cache was under 13gb and allowable total cache was 260gb). this has been a problem for me on multiple laptops/desktops for at least a few years, but I only notice it happen once every couple months. 

In Bridge when I press the sapce on a PNG image the image is quite small. I would like the image to fill the screen. Is that possible? Attached are two images. The small one is a PNG file. The large one is a JPG file.

For some reason Adobe Bridge cannot access my Desktop or Documents on my Desktop iMac. I used to but for some reason I seem to be locked out - see attached image. Help/Advice please. In have reinstalled Bridge. 

I have an image when viewed in Photoshop or Fastone Viewer looks fine but when I look at the same image in Bridge there is a halo artifact around a portion of the subject. The colors look the same in Photoshop and Bridge.  Suggestions as to cause or how to correct.Thankyou 

I go to "Get photos from camera" in Bridge and dialog box does not open. (it always worked fine). What should I do?Thanks in advance

Please help! I was culling my photos from my CF Card, chose the ones I wanted and "moved" them to my external.  It would not progress so I clicked "stop".  The files are now missing.  I even clicked "edit -> undo move" and nothing happened.  The folder is empty and they are gone from Bridge. Thank you!

I want to play videos in full screen mode in bridge, please let me know if we can do this.
