Changing timing of photos is not working in adobe bridge. It notes the correction of the time but not in the field where is it important for ordering photos by date.
I have scanned boxes and boxes of paperwork and saved each as an individual jpeg. I originally scanned some as multipage PDF and that was a bust so switched to individual jpeg. How can the blank pages be batch selected in Bridge CS5 or CS6 (or even in Windows 10 File Explorer) and deleted all at once?
I would like to copy Batch Rename Presets from Bridge on one computer to Bridge on my Laptop. How do I do this? I have Bridge 10.0.1.126 and the OS is Windows 10 Pro 64bit.
I use Bridge 12.0.2.252 on a 2019 16-in MacBook Pro running the latest MacOS Monterey to check focus on hundreds of portraits after a session. I let it build 100% previews, but it will randomly just lose all generated previews (256, 1024, and full). It happens while the app is open, sometimes while I'm scrolling through a session, sometimes if I've left the laptop to sleep. I've tried changing the cache folder to a different location, I've given the cache 275GB of space to use (I clear the cache after each session so it only needs to store previews for ~2500 photos at a time), I have it set to "Keep 100% Previews in Cache", not compact on exit, and not purge automatically. I've experimented with each of those settings and it still randomly deletes all previews and I have to wait for them to rebuild. Any suggestions?
Hi - I'm on Holiday and forgot to change the time zone on my camera. Is there a way to shift the timestamps on all photos by +/- a fixed number of house? I looked in Bridge but I only see the ability to do one at a time, I used a 3rd party software, ExifEditor and it shows the changes on there, but the changes don't reflect in Bridge. The reason I ask is I like to batch-rename my photos using Bridge to "Sequence Number, Date, Time" so I need Bridge to recognize the correct time.
The following script will not run in when wrapped in a menu item. But the main function runs fine on its own... Any idea whats going on. #target bridge var menu = MenuElement.create( "command", "Anon_forSending", "at the end of Tools"); menu.onSelect = function(m) { main() } function main(){ var selectedThumbnails = app.documents[0].getSelection(); var modified = 0; for (var i = 0; i < selectedThumbnails.length; ++i) { var val = decodeURI(selectedThumbnails[i].name); var f = new File (decodeURI(selectedThumbnails[i].path)) if (stripFileExtension) val = val.replace(/\.[^\.]+$/, ''); p = (val.match(/_0/).index)+1 val =val.substr(p,4) newName = val + '.psd' var f1 = new File (f.parent + "/" + newName) if (f1.exists == true){newName = val + '_1' + '.psd'} var metadata = selectedThumbnails[i].synchronousMetadata;
Since a few weeks my Bridge is super slow when I'm trying to sort out the photo's I've taken. Normally I delete like 200 photo's in preview mode and after exiting the preview it took like 5 seconds to have all the photos deleted. Now it takes up to 10 seconds per photo to be deleted, which is very annoying and it makes it unusable. I've seen some of the other posts of people having the same kind of problem and tried to clear up space (I deleted about 100GB on cache files), reinstall both Bridge, PS and Camera RAW, tried to use older versions, I've also tried to restart and update my computer and also did a reset on Bridge and PS but literally nothing seems to work... I really hope someone can help me with this problemHere are some specifications; Macbook Pro '15 2018. macOS Monterey 12.4 | 2,6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 | 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4. 500GB flash memory, using a Lacie Rugged 2TB hard drive when working with Bridge. The older versions of Bridge was 11.0, newest is 1
The "New Folder" icon at the top right hand section of bridge has suddenly showed up as a faint outline and is no longer clickable. Ctl + Shft + N doesn't work either and when I go to File on the navigation bar the "New Folder" link is greyed out.How can I restore the New Folder functionality?
If I want to create a Team/Collaborative Library in Bridge, does that mean all of the assets in that Library have to live on Creative Cloud storage? My company uses LucidLink for cloud storage – we have terabytes upon terabytes of media. I was hoping to use the Team Library in Bridge as a metadata manager and organizer of these assets, so that the keywords/metadata/etc of our vast media library is the same for all of us. In the how-to Adobe implied that to do this the assets in the Team Library will live on their cloud storage. I only have 100GB of Creative Cloud storage – nowhere near enough, so was disheartened by this. Can anybody speak to this? Does a Team Library necessitate the files referenced by that Library to live on Creative Cloud storage?
I have a folder of about 8000 images (70gb) I call "Design Assets." This folder is full of graphics I use often for my design work, such as specific eps shapes I have created. I have spent hours in Bridge attaching keywords to every item so that I can search through and find stuff quickly when I need to use it again. For example, I might need an image of a hand for a project, so instead of drawing a new hand, I will go to Bridge and search for the keyword "hand," look for an appropriate image of a hand I already have, and copy that into my new project so I don't have to redraw it. Sometimes, this system works perfectly. Other times, Bridge just flat-out doesn't find anything with the keywords I am searching for, saying only that no results are found, even if "search non-indexed items" is checked, and even if I performed that exact same search earlier that day and it worked fine. I do have Bridge settings set to import the cache of folders, but I have not found a setting to ex
Hello, Adobe community! Please, how to display more images I select side by side in a full screen. I mean, I would like to select these images (selected in blue): Now there was some shortcut to make the preview on the right full screen, so I can visually compare these images without any slideshow or something similar. Just scale them to the size of the current screen and display all selected images at once. Please, how to do this?
Downloaded the new Bridge 2022 and tried to upload photos from sd card. ALL photos were imported in reverse order (chronologically); windows 10-64bit. After rebooting compouter, uninstallng and then reinstalling Bridge 2022 (over two days) the problem still exists. Ended up installing the older (Crappy 2021) version until this bug gets fixed - hate Bridge 2021. Please fix this bug!
Adobe bridge version 10.0.2.252 won't open on my mac once a week or so and I have to reset it to get it to open. I'm sick and tired of having to re-set it and then customize it for my use. I am running Monterey 12.4. Can anyone PLEASE help me to keep this from happening?!
When I try to use advanced find feature in Bridge, specifically for images that have a rating greater than a certain value (in my case, 1), I am not able to specify this. See the screen snippet attached. The Find menu has a value of "Reject" - and this cannot be changed. This seems really weird to me. First of all, what does "reject" mean? Second, I am assuming that when I rate an image in LightroomClassic as a "2" or "5," etc, it would reflect as such in Bridge. Is this assumption incorrect? Thanks
Several of my file folders from 2021 are missing in Bridge. I cannot remember there names but do know the subject matter. I have tried searching many times and am not able to dind them. I have tried by date and year.Files now found. I know they are not deleted.
No matter how many times I restart the Mac and/or Adobe Bridge, colors will not sync accross the other ACC apps
I just installed Bridge on my mac. But: It does not show my documents / images.If I click on documents (where my images are located) ... it just shows nothing.Is there are command / instruction how to the allow access and see my images / documents in the app?Looking forward for help ... Eva
Good dayhere is something that has annoyed me for many years.Why are the folder thumbnails/icons so very small?I have my own folder icons and most of them are difficult to recognize when small!I can't think of any reason why this can't be resolved! Increasing the thumbnail grid size does not change the icon size! Surely this is an issue that can be quickly and easily be changed?I'd really appreciate thatThank youGerd
Im trying to create a set of workflows for common tasks my department does regularly like converting pdfs to jps and resizing/renaming. I'd love to set it to one buttone do all. but right now im stuck on the change format stage. i removed all other steps and just set 1 change format move. I set it to make a jpg and to save it in a Deposite folder on my desktop. I put a pdf I made on my server into the workflow and hit start. it deposites a jpg in the desired folder but the size is been changes considerably smaller. Why? I need this step to stay at original pixle dimentions before I can trust to start adding rename and resize steps. oddly just to see what would happen I used photoshop to save it as a JPG. then brought it back in to check its size and it kept its dimentions as i would expect it to. Any advice?
it works fine for 30 minutes and randomly at some point will start to act up uncontrolably like you see in the video. there's nothing i can do except wait until it's done acting up. to note, it's a 5000 photos folder, but in all cases it shouldn't be doing that and it's a reoccuring problem that has happened in 400 photos folders. what should i do? {Title edited by Moderator}
Well the title says it all. I always sort my photo's in Bridge, as it's simply the fastest, way fast than Lightroom. And as I am a professional photographer, speed is important. Let's say I add 500 photo's to Bridge and start sorting, I delete(not reject) like 380 photo's, 120 should be left for the next sorting round. If I then restart Bridge, I see I have 180 photo's, 60 deleted photo's reappeared, even after emptying the Trash bin. The more photo's I have originally and the more I delete, the more reappear after restart. If I have like 80 foto's left, 8 reappear after restart, and when I have 25 photo's left, no photo's reappear after restart. As you understand this is a really frustrating issue and I've been trying to deal with it for months, even a Adobe Tech Support guy took over my system for 3 hours straight and couldn't fix it, he thought it had something to do with permissions on folders, who revert after changing permissions. Any ideas? Otherwise I'm afraid I
Hi Endpoint manager and our defender enterprise has flagged the following security vulnerability with our adobe bridge enterprise installs An attacker can exploit this misconfiguration in order to perform path interception to gain escalation of privileges and persistency on the machine.Service PathC:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Adobe-Bridge-022_1.0.0.0_x64__enb9d4674ppy2\VFS\ProgramFilesCommonX86\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\ElevationManager\AdobeUpdateService.exe We had a few other scan messages on other older applications and i used the guide here to fix them using powershell https://www.techiessphere.com/2017/06/how-to-fix-unquoted-service-path-vulnerability.html However the folder path where the adobeupdateservice.exe lives is a protected folder and i cant see to be able to write to it to fix the vulnerability Any ideas? Thanks
I use Bridge to sort my images to folders. Many times when I delete (as in send to recycle bin) a folder within Bridge, it first disappears, then later on it appears again. This happens pretty often and it is very frustrating. When I delete the folder again, doing the exactly same thing, the folder gets moved to the recycle bin like it should. Another problem that may or may not be related to this. When renaming folders within Bridge, it often claims that they are in use and can't be renamed. The files are not open anywhere. Sometimes closing photoshop helps. Many times it is needed to restart Bridge too and just then it is possible to rename these folders.
The Mac version of Bridge has had a problem with laggy and jumpy scrolling at least as far back as CS3. I'm tired of it. So all I want to know is, who do I have to sleep with in order to get this fixed?
