Last year, there was a problem that users responded to the startup script error on the forum.I sent an email to reflect this problem through the email address left by an employee whose forum ID was “SandhyaS” and identified as “Adobe Employee” but I did not get any respond.  This is the error message box that pops up every time it starts.  Whether it is reinstalling the system or reinstalling the Adobe software, this error message will always pop up, unless the script “Adobe Bridge 2022” is unchecked in the "settings > startup scripts", It's strange to me that this problem has not been solved after so long. This startup script named "bridge-12.jsx" should have existed after installation, I didn't make any changes. The content of the script "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Bridge 2022\bridge-12.jsx" is as follows:// (c) Copyright 2021. Using 2 computers, one laptop during photo activities and a stationary at home for final editing.Both run windows 10 and Bridge, Camera Raw, Photoshop.During my photo sessions I regularly download files from my camera to a Samsung SSD 2TB.First classification and cleansing as well as pre-editing is done on the laptop with the files on the SSD.When home all files is mowed from the Samsung SSD to my privet network. Everything I've done on the laptop is available for me on the stationary computer, for instance stars, except the colour of the label. They have turned white ... Filter option "View only marked objects" will find them so clearly, they are labelled, it is just the information about what colour that’s missing. As I photograph birds in flight and shooting sequences at high speed, I get a lot of images many almost the same and many are just not good. Guten Tag,in der Bridge (v12.0.2.252) betrachte ich meine fertig entwickelten Bilder bei 100%. Dabei wir mir das Bild manchmal unscharf dargestellt. Ich muss dann mit den Pfeiltasten ein Bild vor und zurück gehen dann wird es wieder scharf angezeigt.Ich hoffe, ich bekomme da Unterstützung.Hier ein Beispiel:Scharf:Unscharf:

Seit letzer Woche bin ich von PS CS6 und LR6 auf Adobes Fotoabo umgestiegen, somit auch auf die aktuelle Bridge. Für einen Kunden muss ich die erstellten Bilder mit einer Artikelnummer und einer fortlaufenden Nummer umbenennen. Ein Satz besteht immer aus 4 Bildern. Die Rastergröße im Grundlagen-Modul ist so eingestellt, dass immer 4 Bilder eine Zeile bilden. Die Sortierung ist auf manuell eingestellt, da manchmal innerhalb einer Zeile die Bildreihenfolge vor der Umbenennung zu ändern ist. Die Einstellungen für die Stapel-Umbenennung sind so wie in der Bridge CS6. Ein Satz für die Stapelumbenennung besteht also immer aus 4 Bildern in einer Zeile. Das eigentlicheUmbennen des Stapels funktioniert auch nach wie vor. Das Problem ist, dass die neue Bridge nach jeder Stapelumbenennung einer 4er-Zeile wieder in die erste Zeile zurückspringt. So muss ich jedesmal wieder von der ersten Zeile in die als nächstes zu bearbeitende Zeile runterscrollen. Das hat die alte Bridge CS6 nicht gemacht,

I also have a problem with labels but a different one. When I have labelled my files and reopen Bridge again later the labels are gone. And the illustrator files have a Bitmap color mode. I have worked with Bridge CS6 for many years and thought it was a great programme but since I had to buy the 2021 version the problems started. And no one in this Adobe support community seems to know what the problem is...So you are not the only one I'm afraid.

Would love to see a preference for Bridge to allow accurate dimensions in inches/centimeters of files.AFAIK, Bridge has always rounded the image dimensions in inches. When working with multiple files it is sometimes critical to know exactly what the dimensions are to a hundreth of unit of measure. At this time the measurement is rounded to the nearest tenth and sometimes they seem to be off by more.

Hi, My files appear darker in Bridge than they do in Photoshop. I don't know which one to trust and why this is happening. Also happens with InDesign, images are always darker there.  Thank you for the help!

Hi Everyone I hope someone can help me with Bridge I can see a massive difference in colour temperature in the contents section compared to the preview. Is there any rason for this? It seems to differ per laptop- I have 2 and I connect them wirelessly to LG TV.  Any ideas please? Thanks! Nika

Hi, could anyone shed any light on this issue, please? I've trawled Google & the forum but haven't found anything similar. I am using MS Windows and the most up to date versions of Adobe CCWhen I look at the Folders tab in Bridge I can see 6 folders, but if I look in Windows Explorer I see 19 folders (which is what should be showing).I also don't see the files I'd expect to see in the folders when looking in Bridge, just lots of .tmp and files with endings like .bak5af403af . However, when I view the same folder in Windows Explorer I can see all the .eps, .ai, .jpg etc. Any help would be much appreciated, please.Thanks 

Hello,   I load Bridge on my newish (1.4 years I guess) Windows 11 PC. It loads okay, then I try and bring in a Nikon 3500 camera and it crashes. Any thoughts? I rebooted and tried again. I checked with Nikon and there is no driver or anything to install.   Any thoughts?   Richard     {Title edited by Moderator}

I cannot export to PNG from EXR format. JPG works fine. Is there a workaround for this? I have hundreds of files to convert to both JPG and PNG with transparency. Working JPG export options:Non-working PNG export optionis:Unsupported Format error code:  I cannot attach an example EXR file unfortunately.

When I download my photos with Bridge, the photos are duplicated see axample below.I unstalled Bridge and reinstalled again but it does the same. I recently upgraded to Windows 11.When I download the same photos on my wife's laptop (Windows 10) it only download the photos without any duplication.How do I solve this problem please. 

What the title says pretty much. I'm on windows, using a PC I built pretty recently. Trying to go from bridge to make a contact sheet, and everything goes smoothly until like the third page and then it just stops and the page goes transparent and shows me the photoshop startup page but with the brushes and layers still up. this has never happened to me before but like I said, new computer, new problems. Has anyone experienced this and if you do, can you help me fix it?

Hi to all.I'm using bridge un OS X Monterey and i have a problem: when i delete an image then bridge copy the deleted file from the folder in the disk where i saved my pictures to the trash folder located in the system disk so when i need to delete a lot of images (it is common for me to delete 400-500 images from a shooting folder ) i need to wait that bridge copy a lot of data ( each raw of may camera is abut 50 MB ) from the disk where the image folder is located to the system disk trash folderIt is possible to change this behaviour to avoid to wait for the copy of the images from shooting folder disk to the system one?Thanks, Antonio  

I have keywords set up which I have exported to a backup file.My folder contains JPEG images, and the folder is on my laptop within Onedrive. The status is Always Keep on Device for Onedrive.I have entered several meta data such as Title, Description, and ticked keywords.For some images if I tick a keyword it appears in Bridge, and also appears in Keywords column in Windows Explorer when the folder is open in Explorer.Sometimes if I add a Keyword it appears in Bridge, appears in Windows Explorer, then I click a new image, and in Explorer the status for onedrive is showing as being synchronised, then returns to a green tick and onedrive reports the file is uploaded.The keyword is still showing, however a couple of minutes later the keyword disappers from that image both in Bridge and in Windows Explorer.What is going on?

Is anyone having trouble with Bridge not being able to start up at all ?It comes up with an error saying in quit unepectadly, bit it didnt actulayy get to to start up.This is happening with 2021 and 2022 versions, but i have been able to start 2020 version.  Any information would be appreciated.

When I try the open with option in Adobe Bridge 2022, I see multiple choices for the same progam - is there any way to delete these older versions or duplicates? 

I posted in another thread that was similar, but I have some specifics about my problem.  Bridge 12.02 with Win 10.I start Bridge and the folder thumbnails start being generated and refined (2 or 3 passes).  During this time, Bridge eventually closes.  Not sure if this is critical, but the files are on my NAS. I did the whole CAS startup and check all three check boxes.  Didn't help.  Did a reinstall and that didn't help.  FWIW, I have Bridge from CS6 also installed and that works without a problem.  Also, FWIW, when I did the reinstall I first chose to not copy info from the older CS6 version.  This caused a problem where my files on the NAS had a padlock on them and I couldn't open them.  I had encountered this before with the CS6 version and somehow found a solution.  Can't remember what the true fix is, but I re-re-installed 12.0.2 and then said to copy over the preferences from CS6 and the padlocks disappeared.  Still scr

Since last update (12.0.2) Bridge Photodownloader does not download files from SD Card and iPhone; download button remains grey after clicked and download does not start.  Also sometimes the choose destination button remains grey after clicked and no window to choose destination folder appears.  Is this a known issue? Is there a solution availble? any tips? I am running Bridge on a Mac Mini (2018) with macOS 12.3.1 

Is there any way to make Bridge show one of the following image sizes 100, 50, 25, 12.5 percent before or during the slide show?The available settings, Fit to screen and Fit to fill, seem to render images - which look sharp at 100 percent - unsharp.Best,Eigil Skovgaard

I recently formatted and installed a fresh copy of Windows and and all of my Adobe software. When I opened up Geforce Experience I noticed a strange name for Adobe Bridge. "Peculiar Ultra Humongous Cuckoo". Nothing in my adobe profile or software shares this name. Where did it come from? I am in the process of emailing nvidia about it but there initial response is its an Adobe issue. I just wonder where it originated from. Is someone messing with me? It just seems very strange. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
