Or at least I assume so. When exporting pages as jpgs from InDesign at 300ppi Bridge displays the resolution as 72ppi. When opened in Ps the resolution is 300ppi. Wth, Adobe? And... jpgs won't open in Ps, even tho the file associations are set correctly. 

I am using Windows 10 Pro x64 V21H2 and Bridge 13.0.2.636 For some reason Bridge shows metadata for some files as if I am hovering over them but I can not get it to go away unless I shut Bridge down.  Even when I use another program the metadata stays on top making it difficult to use the other application. Please see attached pictures.

The program (BR) continuously closes shortly after I start it. I have sent many error reports and it keeps on doing it. i7 10th, gtx3070, 32ram... everything is up to date, program and softwarePlease Help

Is this the Complain about Adobe Bridge bar? Can I join? I can't do anything else than shovel more kak....because I have tried everything. I have cleared all cache, changed cache size (it is using 15Gb but I have it set to use 400GB if it wants), reset everything etc etc. Why oh WHY is Bridge (13.0.2.636, recent update, 2023 as of todays date) so EXTREMELY slow? This is my worst software experience since Windows Me. I have a 3.5Ghz Xeon, 32GB RAM, 1TB Samsung 970 Pro SSD as C:, my pictures are on a 4TB SATA SSD. WIN 10, current.  It is absolutely unusable! I can't even scroll without stuttering. I can't click menu's. Copying and moving files is a crawl. Rest of system works as snappy as. Adobe uses only 16% CPU, 12% Memory, 4-5% disk. It is much faster just 2x clicking and opening an image in Photos. It seems it's constantly restarting indexing from scratch each time I change Smart Collection. Hola ,  Al abrir un archivo jpeg desde Bridge , (doble click sobre el archivo jpeg, o "abrir") se me abre en lightroom. En editar/preferencias (bridge) tengo asociado photoshop para abrir los jpegs. Sin embargo me los abre en lightroom.Si selecciono "abrir con" y elijo photoshop , si me los abre en PS.Por que haciendo doble click no me los abre en PS , si lo tengo asociado en preferencias???? Saludos!!

My coworker and I work on separate computers and are not connected by a server.  I would like to be able to assign keywords to images and then send her the images with the keywords "attached" so that when she opens them in her Bridge software, she can see the keywords I assigned.  Is this possible?  If there is no  straight-forward way to do it, is there a work-around?  We work with folders that contain 100s to 1000s of images, each having one or multiple keywords (actually in our case it's letters) assigned to them.  Please help!

Hi, does anybody know a software, plugin, script or action to convert meta data presets from Lightroom Classic (.lrtemplate) to meta data presets for Bridge/Photoshop (.xmp). I could do it manual with picture by picture, but I'm to lazy to convert 170 Lightroom presets.This way I also get the GPS data better into Bridge, which doesn’t works so wasy. An allroud converter for any Digital Asset Management software would be great.

Hi - I just updated Bridge and now it won't let me apply star ratings to all the images I want to (just some of them).  None of the images are locked.  I've purged the caches.  Any ideas?

I just downloaded both successfully (at least it looks like it) but Bridge won't open. Any clues why?

Aloha all!I'm relatively new to Bridge, and am enjoying the power is has. One thing that's bothering me, though... I have set up hierarchical keywords which I use extensively. However, when I go to the filter tab to locate photos with a certain keyword, or combination of keywords, every keyword I've entered simply appears in a list. Is there a toggle to get those filter selections to show the heirarchy, including the ability to expand or collapse levels?Mahalo!Tom G

Hello, I have somewhat of a silly problem. When I opened Bridge today it does not show transparent backgrounds for thumbnails anymore. Instead of transparency it shows a white background. All my transparency options are checked: 'show transparency' and 'show transparency grid'. I already reinstalled Bridge and reset my preferences. Nothing is working. Am I still missing something?  Hopefully someone can help me. 

i have the latest version of bridge on a 2021 m1 imac but everytime i launch bridge it just crashes a few seconds later, does anyone have any ideas?

I have a CC membership and recently updated all programs to the 2023 version.  Now, when I browse files in Bridge from PS, I cannot doubleclick the files to open.  Bridge gives the error message "Could not open X because the file is empty".  I can open (mostl psd files but also .jpeg etc.) with the open comannd from PS or by doubleclicking on the file.  These are files I have opened this way in the past.  Thoughts?  Upon one restart, I could do this, but when I had occasion to restart again, I am back to this error.

Everyone, I am desperately hoping someone can help shed some light on an issues I am having. A little explanation on our current setup...We have 2 Macbook Pros and a Mac Pro. The Mac Pro is set up in house as a server with 2 of the drives setup as RAID. My wife is a Photographer and after she is done working on session on her Macbook she will move the entire folder over the RAID on the Server to keep a backup of everything and to keep it organized. Yesterday she realized that there were still some personal pictures on here MacBook under the folder 2015 (for example the Server had months Jan-Aug but not Sept - Dec). So before bed she went into bridge and "Moved" them to the RAID on the Sever. On the server the folders are typically under Personal Backups/Year/Month.Last night when she tried to copy everything over she just moved the folder of 2015 to the root folder of the RAID. So right now when we look on the RAID we have a folder called 2015. Then we have a folder under Personal Back

I updated Ps, Br, & Raw to 2023.Now...2023 Br crashes at launch.The installation of 2023 also caused trouble with Br & Ps 2022: 2022 Br & Raw work until I try to batch with Ps or Image Processor with Ps from Br: Tools>Photoshop>Batch or Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor.  I get: "Install latest version of Photoshop to continue..."  I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled 2023 Ps several times with no help.  I can open 2023 Ps normally just fine.  I can run Image Processor from 2023 Ps: File>Scripts>Image Processor just fine.PC, Windows 10, 32 GB Ram

My workflow calls for updating metadata (IPTC Core -> keywords) for each of the image in an set. Basic information about what/who/etc on the image. Since at least Bridge Version 13.0.1.583 the metadata panel does not refresh when switching to the next image. Basically always showing the last update to the metadata.This happens all the time after I have changed the metadata for one image. Any image I preview afterwards will show the metadata (IPTC Core) of the image i made the update. It does however not update the metadata for any other file. Once I restart bridge it will show the correct values for all images until I make another change to one image. A refresh (F5) or purge cache does not seem to help either.BTW: I tried the BETA version (V 13.0.2.630) and the behavior has not changed.

After installing dropbox for macos I cannot see the dropbox photoshop files in their new location of "location".  I cannot access or "see" them in the "folders" in bridge, Help!!!

Hello together, i searched the SDK docs but i wasn't lucky. All i found was save as jpg/png.Is there a method for converting raw files to dng programatically (extendscript)?

I have the latest version of Bridge installed 2023. I am using Windows 10 Pro. When I ask Bridge to Get Photos From Camera and go to the Advanced Dialogue it is showing a duplicate of each RAW file. If I continue with the download the duplicated files are there and numbered _DSF1656-1.RAF. _DSF1656.RAF and so on. I have carried out all checks on the camera - Fujifilm X-T5 -  to ascertain that nothing is being duplicated in camera. I have also checked everything in Bridge that I can think of. Advice required please.

Hallo, habe auf dem neuen iMac mit Ventura die Bridge CC installiert. Wenn ich in jetzt in einem Ordner die Fotos mit der Leertaste in der Vollbild Ansicht durchsehen möchte flackert das Bild jedes Mal auf! Das ist sehr nervig und spätestens nach dem dritten Bild höre ich deswegen auf! Davor hatte ich Photoshop CS5 mit der dazugehörigen Bridge CS5 auf einem iMac von 2010. Würde mich sehr über Abhilfe freuen! I go to bridge, click on the picture, any picture and press space bar to view in full size, I get a message Bridge has encounatered a problem with GPU hardware and so on, says it will switch to software rendering and it is clicked next time I come back, but still not able to use bridge to view full size raw format pictures. Tried everything and updated hardware driver. It didn't happen in the previous version, gave some message, but worked, but now it keeps crashing and shutting off bridge every single time. What can I do to fix this, because it is very sad that I was able to use it with previous version and new version broke something that is no longer working for me. 

Ever since updating to Bridge 2023, Filter Panel keywords are sorting caps first lowercase below. I need the keywords to ignore caps but can find no settings to set the sort order in the Filter Panel. Any suggestions? Ventura 13.1 on a Mac Studio. Thanks. 

<BEGIN RANT>I have been unable to use Bridge for days and Adobe Support has been completely unhelpful. When I get connected through chat, the rep says they are going to look up information in my account and after a while, I get disconnected. Sometimes it's the same rep. They shouldn't have to look up my info when they just looked it up! Why am I paying for a software subscription if I can't use it?<END RANT>Here is what happens:I open Bridge and a pop-up window appears (see attached) telling me that a collection target folder cannot be found. I click "OK" and the window disappears and reappears quickly. I am unable to get past the pop-up to use the app. I can't even close the app. I have to go to Task Manager in Windows and end the task.Here is what I have tried:I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, preserving my preferences.I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, deleting my preferences, then letting Bridge search for and import them.I uninstalled and reinstalled the app,

With the last update of Bridges 2023, I can no longer open the application. It gives a keyboard incompatibility error and tells me to check the internet connection. I uninstalled the update and it started working normally again.
