Bridge

I have the latest version of both, Bridge 11.1, and Ill 2021.When I click on Illustrator files in Bridge, nothing happens. When I right-click, it shows the default app as AISniffer version 25.3.1- what is that???When I looked at the file type associations, .ai is not listed, so I can't associate it. Tried re-installing Bridge, same situation. Any ideas??

Adobe Bridge 9.1.0.338Mac OS 10.14.5 (iMac Pro)In previous versions of Bridge, I could preview any file type in the Preview Panel... and these would fill the screen space available on screen within the preview panel. This gave me large previews, which looked great!Now (with the latest version of Bridge, which I'm running on an iMac Pro), all Bridge shows me are smaller / fixed size preview thumbnails (where I cannot see any level of detail).Does anyone know how to make the preview panel show my content at a larger scale?Or is there a way to change this (scale the preview panel output)?Thanks!

So I am going through my day folders from an extensive trip and replacing the camera numbers with mine, according to my system.  they are sequential so I have 2 lines in the renaming box.  The last number in my database was 3028092, so the sequence should start with 3028093.  The first is text, 30,  and the second is sequential number 28093. When one day folder has the renaming applied to the contents, going to the next folder, the number starts at the number of the last one.  It went OK for a couple of folders then stuck and after a while, I had to close Bridge and reopen.  The last folder was numbered correctly and I proceeded till it stuck again on another folder, and after waiting some time, again closed and reopened.So it was working OK for more folders.  I select all the items in a folder, sorted by the original camera name and apply the rename and the order should be the same, but with new numbers.But then a new problem developed where I w

Dear all,I am attempting to rename several primary keywords in Bridge such that the renamed keyword is applied to existing tagged images. My keywords are heirarchical therefore I have a primary 'title' keyword such as species with individual species names subset under.To do this I select all images in the relevant folder, and then right click on the keyword which needs renaming on the 'Rename' option, type the correction, and then press return. Adobe Bridge creates a new renamed keyword, however the tags associated with secondary keywords in the heirarchy are not carried over to the renamed primary keyword. There are many hours of work associated with tagging these images, therefore I really can't go back through all of them to re-tag them under the revised name.Any suggestions? Hello, since a week Adobe bridge does not recognize the file-types on my Synology 218+ NAS any more. "Sometimes it sees them as "binary doc" with file-size 0, sometimes it just does not see them at all.When it sees folders and/or files, it shows them as "locked".I removed the index on the NAS and re-indexed the folders. Nothing helped. Sometimes the reaction of Bridge changes (it sees more or less files or sub-maps), it is not predictable wht you see. All other applications (like Photoshop) have no problems with the NAS.Advie from Synology was upgarding to latest software and stop and restart indexing, which I all did. I re-installed Bridge.Nothing helped. Any idea? regards Hennie Koenen

Hello,I started fresh on a new PC with Win10 and a 4k 27" monitor before purchaing and installing Adobe Ps, Lr and then Bridge. I'm tring to move from FastStone Image Viewer to Bridge as FastStone is bogging down on my catalog size and slowing down. Thoght I would get Bridge a try.One big problem is window font sizes. As you can see it is way too small or big. The small I can't read and the big defeates having the larger monitor real estate to work with.I have adjusted Pr and Lr to scale correctly as per solutions provided in this community, but have not for Bridge.I have tried changeing to threads in this community:Changing the DPI bridge.exe peferences.Changing Bridge perferences for text scaling and user interface scaling; Auto, 100% & 200%.All to no avail.As you can see from photos I have fixed he scaling problem out with both Ps and Lr to get workable results.There is just no way I have found to get a size that is inbetween the two too small or to big.Why can Ps and Lr to get

I am running PSE 2018 and downloaded Bridge 2018. I turned off my computer and then started it back up. When I opened PSE back up and went to file, there was no "open bridge" tab to open bridge with. I have searched in bridge to see if there is something I missed and have read different online instructions on how to make it work but can not seem to find any. Any ideas, or does anyone have a customer service help number to Adobe to help me get this solved? Thanks

Hi,   I have Adobe Bridge 2020 running on a MacBook Pro 16. I want to rename some files with Batch Rename but it does not work. When pressing the button "Rename" nothing happens. The same problem is on the Mac of my friend. Can somebody help me?   Kind regards, Lukas

When pressing space bar on any photo file (raw, tiff, jpeg) my screen goes crazy and glitches out. as soon as i try to screen shot or screen record, it goes away. while recording, it doesn't happen. please help! i've tried restarting computer.   i'm running 9.1 because 10.0 kept crashing on me and messing up my files.

This is recent and a Bridge Bug.  I open a jpeg in Photoshop. I save it.  I open it.  It is the same color.  I open it in the Bridge.  It is dark and dull.  I reopen it in Photoshop.  It is now dark and dull.  If I do this to a folder I can watch he Bridge take nice colors and darken them one by one.  Luckily, if I open them in another, free thumbnail viewer, the colors are correct.  However Photoshop and the Bridge are useless for these images.  Do you understand?  All these other companies can see imatges your images processor has flattened from camera raw correctly, but your software can't.  The Bridge is writing a color profile into every image whether I like it or not.  I have reset profiles to vanilla in both software time and time agiain.  They match.  This is your bug.  And it bleeds back into Adobe Raw from the Bridge too.  

Hi, Since i updated to osx catalina on my macbook pro 2015 i got a strange problem, in bridge when i hit space to preview a choosen picture i got a scrambled picture. I do not have the same issue on my mac mini which is the latest one. The latest update of catalina 10.15.1 didn't help. Bridge is updated. Anybody else here who got this problem? Hello everyone I'm using Photoshop and Bridge CS6 and both have begun behaving strangely lately. Bridge occasionally complains that the Photoshop application has moved when I try to open file. There is an option to correct or update the path which fixes it for a while (incidentally I haven't moved the application). Another thing is that sometimes Bridge will open a new instance of Photoshop when that is already running. When I check where the two Photoshop applications are located, they both point to the same app in my user folder/Applications. The third thing I've noticed is that there are two Photoshop entries in the Open with menu in Bridge. One is marked as (default), the other one not. There are actually two versions of Photoshop on my computer because I keep a clone of the drive which is SuperDuper'd every evening. But this has never caused these problems before. Thanks in advance for your helpPhilip 

Besides Photoshop crashing every other day I have a lot of problems with Adobe Bridge. The main issue is moving or deleting file where 6 out of 10 times i get the following message; "an error has occured during the delete operation.  Some files may not have been processed." In case of moving files I get a message stating that the file can't be found in the original location. Both malfunctions have resulted in loss of images.   I work on a MacBook Pro using OS 10.15.2 I have re-installed the bridge application several times, the errors keep reoccuring

For some reason my Bridge no longer allows me to open files from within it for Illustrator. Just opening inside Illustrator. It wasn't like that. Before it worked. As I really like Bridge as my favorite search platform, this has become a problem. What happened?

Where is the merge AS HDR PRO OF NEW BRIDGE? And where is the merge AS A PHOTOSHOP level ? in the new version of bridge 2020 I can't find it .Thank you

If I connect my phone using a USB cable I can transfer my photos to Bridge.  I want to transfer files using BlueTooth instead.  I can see my phone on my computer but not via Bridge.  How can I transfer photos using BlueTooth and Bridge.

Can anyone tell me if multiple employees can download Adobe Bridge and upload photos to it on the same account? Only one person is working with the Photoshop and Indesign, etc but we would all like to be able to upload images to our creative cloud storage. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? 

 There's plenty of discussion on this forum pertaining to the ever changing interface on Bridge.  We have all asked that the squares around the thumbnails and unnecessary padding between images be removed. We have been ignored on these issues.  Props are to be given for the changes in the Bridge 2020 regarding the labels and coloring (nicely done), and the return of the Export panel which was a very useful tool that was removed awhile back.   I will save the destruction of the Camera Raw interface for another post. I took a chance this past week on upgrading Adobe CC...just the app, nothing else.   Unfortunately it appears that the CC gatekeeping code will no longer allow Bridge 2018 to invoke Camera Raw.  It gave me an error message the "I had to be logged into a valid CC application to access it".  It is possible that something just went wrong during my update.  But if this is in fact true, I'd like to know because that will force me

Moin, musste leider vom MAC auf WIN10 umsteigen. Rufe ich die Bridge nun auf, werden mir kurz die Fotos (RAW oder JPG) kurz in der Ansicht angezeigt und dann nur noch als leeres Icon ohne irgendwelche META Daten. Öffnen lassen sich die Fotos ebenfalls nicht, in PS kommt die Fehlermeldung "Datzeityp nicht unterstützt!Schließe ich den MAC mit der selben Camera Raw und Bridgeversion wieder an, klappt alles sofort.AUch das öffnen der Fotos mit anderen Programmen auf dem WIN 10 Programmen klappt einwandfrei! Was kann das sein?? Gruß Peter

Hello,I am using Bridge 11.1 and noticed that in a sequence of similarly shot images in portrait mode, several show up in landscape orientation. While I can change these manually, I'd prefer to know why this is happening and wonder how can I avoid this from happening?Thank you for your help.

Hi, I want to add GPS data to a number of photos that I've selected, but when I right click and go to 'File Info' the entire GPS section is greyed out.  Is it possible to edit this info somehow please? Thanks 🙂

I just upgraded Bridge 2019 to Bridge 2021. The Favorites did not migrate. There are favorites, but it is a very old list. I had those favorites about 2 Years ago. How can I get Bridge to update the Favorites?PS: When I Open Bridge 2019, the correct Favorites, the new ones, are still there. Bridge 11 for Mac running Catalina on a 2012 MacBook Pro retina.
