Hey,  I was using some editing software for years and we allways had the possiblity to sort the colums of folder by more than one aspect. Like: Type (DNG or JPG) and rating. Or: Name and Date Or : Date and Rating How can i set this in Bridge? Is this a special menu? Do I need to do this in the search engine?  thanxs Peter   

Image process all of a sudden stopped working for me. No updates or changes were made.  When I try to batch process raw files it will process them and just leave them open in photoshop instead of saving and closing which is did yesterday.  I HAVE ALL SETTINGS correct.  It was working yesterday.  Sometimes when I try to batch process it will open photoshop and do nothing and I have to restart the computer just to get the image processor dialog to open

I have a powerpoint presentation that I split into individual pdf files which I now need to convert to jpegs.  I can't seem to get Image Processor to stop changing the aspect ratio of these landscape images to 1:1 with resulting distortion.  The 'resize to fit' box is unchecked although, greyed out, it says 1:1.  

I'm a photography beginner learning to use adobe bridge, lightroom, and photoshop, but I have an issue with my adobe bridge. When I tried clicking anything to create a new preset for my photos, my laptop didn't do what I wanted. For Example: On the "Savings Options", I wanted to export to "Specific Folder" instead of "Original File Location" and it wouldn't let me right-click to show up. Is it because I'm using a Microsoft Pro 7?

I have changed image rotation and adjusted colors and cropped my image in Bridge and Camera Raw. Then I have saved it as DNG file. It shows normally in Bridge but when I use the larger preview, the image is still upside down. If I open it in Photoshop it looks right. When I take the file in another program I need in my work, the file is othervise edited but shows again upside down. I am not sure if the other program supports all sidecar filetypes but I think at least Bridge shold understand these adjustments. Bridge and Camera Raw are updated. I have tried saving the adjustments into .xmp file in the DNG save dialog box. How can I fix this?

I have a photo I scanned at both 300 and 600 dpi as both a TIF and JPG. The metadata shown in Bridge shows the correct resolutions and dimensions (in inches) for the JPG image. However, Bridge shows the resolution for both the 300 and 600dpi scans as 72dpi. The dimensions in pixels is correct, but the dimension (in inches) is for 72dpi. There's no way to know the actual original size of the image scanned. File Explorer in Windows 10 detail properties AND Photoshop Elements Organizer and Editor is correct, reporting what is actually in the metadata. Bridge is not. Is this a bug or what?

How can I add certain Metadata fields to the pull down menu in the batch rename function?I need to do a batch rename of files, but using metadata fields that are not available as an option on the pull down menu.Hoping to use any or all of these:Audio : Artist, Album, GenreIPTC Core : Description, Keywords, etc..

I am currently looking to rename/rearrance a file name as a batch but I am not familiar with Reg Ex to know what to use for string substitution. So here is my delima. I have file names with similar structure. Below is original filename and then what I would like for it to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Orginal Filename structure:A-1LastnameFirstname1211.pdf Wanted Result:Lastname, Firstname [1211].pdf The number at end will be different for each file name.

All I can see in Tools/Photoshop are the stock PS options. Can I still run Actions through Bridge?PS startup scripts are checked. Bridge 12.0.1.246PS 23.2.2

Hi! I know it is possible to show me the linked files of a inDesign file. Is it also possible vice versa? For example: Show me all inDesign files in which the image is linked. Or is there another program that does that simply? Thanks, Nicolai

I am attempting to move a folder into another folder and I keep getting the following message:The operation cannot be completed because you do not haqve sufficient permissions. I have tried emptying my cache in Bridge and also tried closing and reopening Bridge. Didn't work.Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem.Thanks

I frequently use the folder cruising feature while comparing folders (since Bridge doesnt have a folder comparison tool...) Many of my folders are arranged per the following sample: ------------------ 1600px    A       Discontinued    B       Discontinued    C       Discontinued   1000px    A       Discontinued    B       Discontinued    C       Discontinued   etc except many more than three subfolders. --------------------- Where I would be comparing A to A, B to B, etc, with two windows open. Unfortunately, if I have folder A loaded in each window and use folder cruising to open folder B in each, I get a modal popup once each folder loads which blocks the OTHER window from loading. This is even after changing focus to the other window. I have to manually click or pres

I am experiencing this same problem like last year where the screen freezes because a pop-up appears saying "the operation could not be completed" and when restarting Bridge the same message appears right away. I have had this same issue last year for several months and stopped using it.. 

For about a decade (in many versions of Bridge for Mac os - from CS2 on up to the latest version) I've been observing that bridge gets really confused when you browse through the files in a stack.   Sometimes things go well, but often if you play through the stack and pause part way through, then click - the whole stack sort of explodes, and Bridge looses its grasp on weather the stack is open or closed.  And even if you use the Colapse All Stacks menu item, the problem comes back when you click on that stack, or arrow past it with the arrow keys.  Please see the video.   The problem has gotten Much better in recent versions, but it's not gone completely.   The only way to fix a broken stack is to select it, then upgroup from stack, then make a new stack out of it.  Bridge is an awesome tool... please fix this bug.

This morning a bunch of my Bridge keywords disappeared. I started to add a keyword, realized I was adding it in the wrong part of the tree, and hit "escape" to cancel out. When I did that, a whole bunch of keywords simply vanished. The good news is that I have a backup of the XML file on my backup drive. The bad news is that it doesn't seem to be working. I deleted the XML file with the missing keywords and replaced it with the file from my backup drive. (I checked the backup file and it has the keywords that vanished this morning.) I restarted my computer and opened Bridge, but it doesn't seem to be reading the new XML file. They keywords that disappeared this morning are still missing.I know that one of my option is this: Prepression: Bridge – Restoring a Lost Keyword XML File   But why should I have to go that route to basically re-create my keyword tree when I already have a file with all the data? How do I get Bridge to read the replacement XML file from my backup drive?

I use a Mac. Camera brand is Nikon (2-D500's and a D5500).Bridge photo downloader has been importing DCIM, D500 and 101ND500 files since upgrade. Same from the D5500. I can uncheck them to prevent importing to Bridge however if I forget I end up with multiple copies of each image and HUGE folder. Dean

Hi, i accidentally clicked a button and it took away some of my information my files now look like this  they would normally have the information below showing file name etc   

why wont Bridge let me download images from a memory card reader  for CG express cards.

I keep getting this popup message when I start a tethered capture in LRC. It won't stop coming up...
