On past versions of Bridge, the Photo Downloader used to save previous settings, which meant that you could set it up the way you liked it and it would save the copyright metadata that you put in the Advanced Dialogue section. In the last two versions of Bridge, it no longer does this and you have to go through the rigmarole of having to change the file location and writing in metadata every time you download photos. Really irritating! Is there a checkbox somewhere that saves your preferred settings?
Beginning with Bridge 11.0.0, ANY export setting that includes resizing an image results in an error. Here's a screen shot. This happens with any type if image (JPG, RAW, PSD)Anyone else have this problem?
10.1 didn't have this problem, but 11.0 does. Exported images are oversaturated and too much contrast. This is not a color management issue. If I save the iamge in photoshop, it is correct. If I export it in Bridge, it is oversautrated and too much contrast. Same color space (sRGB).The difference is apparent, even when viewing in photoshop. Like I said: not a color management issue. Please tell me there is a fix for this.
latest photoshop brigde manages to use 100% of my processor while doing nothing special. The new photoshop works properly and uses less than 8% of my processor. Can someone tell me what's going on with that new bridge?
Wonderful. "Open in camera raw" does not work in bridge any more. This is vital to my workflow. Camera Raw opens properly in Photoshop. Double-clicking brings up the Camera Raw window, just hitting command+R in Bridge doesn't work.Mac OS 10.15.7Bridge 2021 11.0.0I've tried unisntalling. reinstalling, earlier versions, Creatlive Cloud Cleaner Tool...no luck. Still broken. I'm out of ideas. HELP!
Last week I updated to Bridge 11 and uninstalled the previous version. On Saturday the clocks went back an hour in the UK. Since Sunday morning I have been getting the above message (see attached image) every time I open Bridge. I get the same on 2 different computers. I have a relialbe internet connection (chrome browser, email working fine) lightroom also working ok, I have cahnged the clock setting as suggested. I have also signed out of all Adobe apps in Bridge and then re-signed in. No change. I should add that if I just close the dialogue box Bridge does seem to work fine. Any suggestions to solve this problem.CHeers GG
I just ran the latest update for Photoshop and Bridge. I am working with images and exporting contact sheets and now, the JEPGs included in the contact sheets look dark in comparison to the original PSD. Everything about the two files is the same except one being a flattened .PSD and the other a .JPG. (see screen capture) Both have the same color profiles but look different when viewing the PDF contact sheet.I checked the Bridge preferences and turned on "Preserve Embedded Color Profile." When I do this, the images now appear the same but become over saturated and very red. This never did this before. What has changed and how do I get the two image types to display accurate color?
Does anyone know how I can select a folder and view its content whithout going into it? I have multiple folders in a year lets say. I want to select one after the other and get a preview of the content in the preview window. The preview window only shows the folder icon! I only need to "peek" into the folder in order to know what's in it...
Hi My Bridge was automatically updated to version 11 on my windows 10 and now is not launching. Each time I click on the icon I see a message sdaying "The operation could no be completed". - I have uninstalled the product, restarted my windows and then installed Bridge again but the problem remain.- I have pressed alt-ctrl-shift when Bridge is launched and marked all the three options but the problem remains.Every Adobe update becomes a nightmare... 😞Any clue to solve the problem will be appreciated,
I just updated to Adobe Bridge 2021 11.0.0.83 and Adobe Photoshop CC 2021 19.1.7. I used to be able to access Actions while in Bridge, (Tools - Photoshop - Batch ). That option is no longer available, as well as the other options when I follow the path above to access Photoshop. I would use Batch in this method frequently, and it is really affecting my workflow. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I tried to find a problem similar to this, but have not found one. I updated my Bridge to 2020, and now I cannot view my images from my external drive. The extrnal drive shows, but the images don't. The external drive and the images appear in Finder. Images also do not appear in the earlier version either. Wasted a lot of time on this. ;-( . Please let me know how to rectify this. The images obviously are there. Terry [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Mod][To find a forum for your program please start at Adobe Support Community]
This afternoon I opened Bridge but unlike before I can't get intothe external discs. Was there an upgrade?
I recently upgraded to the new Bridge. I had asked it to transfer my settings over with it. Unfortunately that did not happen. I had keywords and they did not show up...now no one mentionedthat one had to copy that file and import or whatever. Anyone know how to get these back? Or do I have to start from scratch again...very annoying.
Is anyone else finding that Bridge and PS 2021 suck the life out of their MAC.. I have 16gb of RAM onboard. I have no idea what the Ap is doing but simple adjustments in RAW now send the CPU into overdrive.
I recently updated all software with the latest editions on my laptop. I now find when I open Bridge and select photos I can no longer right click and choose filter to camera raw. The softward now says camera raw is not supported with new bridge. I am doing something wrong? I use to open bridge, load photos, process in camrea raw, save changes then reopen camera raw and copy the process files to my hard drive. I can still do this on my desktop and would rather not change unless there is a more dirrect approach with the new updates. I appreciate all help.Patrick
Recently "up"graded Photoshop, Bridge, and ACR. Now, when I try to open a raw file, in my case a .NEF file, I get this:"The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camera Raw files selected or selected files were read-only."However, if I select the same file from my iMac's (2017, latest iOS, 10.15.7) Finder app, it opens into ACR as it should. Clumsy and pretty inconvenient, but it works, and it seems to me that it shows the files themselves are ok.Now, I have two external drives, one for 2004 to 2018, and another for 2019 and up. Both are formatted the same: Mac OS Extended (Journaled). The problem only happens on the disk with the more recent files. Indeed, copying a file that opens on the "older" disk to the "newer" one leaves the file un-openable from Bridge, but it still opens from Finder. Some history: I had similar problems with Bridge 2020, and the Adobe technical geniuses, after several hours on three separate telephone calls, came
I have no idea if I accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut, but none of my images have any info under them. I've looked on all the menus/preferences/panel options but can't find how to change it back. Any ideas? Thanks, wendyBridge CC on an iMac running Sierra.
Since the update, when I export JPEGS from bridge, it is drastically changing the color. how can I fix this? thank you
I can't see a preview of my RAF files in Bridge. It used to work just fine before but all of a sudden it doesn't. I didn't change anything... Who knows how to fix this? I used Bridge to make a first selection, so this messes with my workflow. Version 10.1.1.166MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6
Hi, update Bridge 11.0 does not open the extern harddiskfile ??

When I startup Bridge, it automatically mounts a network drive that I ejected weeks ago. I reset bridge, removed all files from the desktop (including hidden files), and disabled all startup scripts. It still hangs when selecting Desktop folder. After a forcequit, and a 2nd reset, it opens fine (at my home folder). As soon as I click on the desktop folder in favorites panel, it hangs. Anyone else experienceing this issue? Any tips?
In Adobe bridge 2021 I cannot find the panoramic Photomerge or any of the photomerge... Has they been removed?
I have photos scattered all over my computer, for specific reasons tied to running my business. My challenge is that sometimes I need to find an image and have no idea in what folder the image is stored and I can spend an hour or more trying to find it. I have no problem going through all my images and tagging them with metadata keywords. However, from what I see with Bridge the software will only let you look for keyword tags within a specific folder, not across my entire computer. Is there a way for Bridge to find images across my computer or can it only find images within a specific folder?
