Why in Bridge, when you wish to search the contents of a folder, does it offer you the choice of "Spotlight Search..." or "Bridge Search..."If the app is working correctly, then shouldn't those searches be identical?

Hi. I shoot in Canon CR2 Raw format and do most initial sorting and processing in Bridge. However when I import using Photo Download and convert to DNG the image files do not have embedded fast-load data. The only camera raw preference settings in Bridge are for Sidecar or Camera Raw Database and in Photo Downloader the DNG conversion settings do not effect the XMP data and nothing in those settings gives me embedded fast-load data. I can obviously use the seperate DNG converter app or image processor function in Photoshop but it seems strange I can't do this via Photo Downloader, which is already converting to DNG. Can anyone tell me if there is some setting I've missed or some way to acheive this? And if not do you think this feature would be possible? Regards

Just started using Bridge after the 12.3 update. When I opened a file it displayed a scrambled version of it.  I can't get rid of it.  I had this problem with my first Bridge a few years ago but I was able to to find a way to display the file I wanted to edit. I can't seem to do that with this one. 

Is there a way in Bridge to view thumbnails of all images on all drives please?   I am looking for an image from a long way back, I don't know its filename or even its filetype. In short, it could be anywhere in four partitions and an external drive.   This is a new product to me.  

When I start Bridge, it opens for a second, then closes.I've uninstalled and re-installed it but the problem persists.Anyone knows what's going on?Using Windows 10 on Dell XPS15 9530

Hello. I use Bridge to edit my RAW files. I usually right click on the thumbnail and select Open in Camera Raw. I can still do that but now the image opens in the newer Camera Raw which I find a bit difficult to navigate compared to the previous version. Is it possible to roll back to the previous version of Camera Raw or am I stuck with the most recent version? Thanks, I hope I explained this clearly enough.

Ever since the update to 2020 Bridge has been super slow! Sometimes taking 15 seconds to change folders.  2019 version seems fine on the same system. What is happening with ADOBE? New software is getting worst and worst! MY PC friend was so frustrated with new versions of Photoshop on Windows he went back to v2017 just so he could get work done. Got to start looking for a Bridge alternative.

Not only do the folders NOT automatically open in Windows but if you switch folders to, for example, drag items from one to another, as soon as you switch, the entire tree collapses again!Bridge on my Mac works perfectly but at work, on Windows, it makes me want to kill somebody.

Hello! I have the whole Adobe package. Everything is simple. Other applications without any problem. Since yesterday BR has not started. After starting flash and end appear. The application will not vibrate ... what could be the reason? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled ...

Does new export function in new Bridge allow to change resolution and name or it is just to change dimensions or format? I didn't find a way to export changing resolution so I still have to use camera raw for that type of batch image size and rename - but unfortunately new camera raw 12.3 is horrible, so I am searching for alternatives. 

How can I move pictures from another location inbetween two pictures in a manually sorted folder?

Is Bridge 2017 32 bit?  I want to make sure it will work with Catalina before I go ahead and upgrade.  

I am new to Adobe Bridge and using Digital Asset Managers in general. I am trying to use Bridge to organize my person photo/video collection using the Keywords system. However, for most of my images that I try to apply a keyword to, it just isn't being saved (no error messages at all). The check box will fill in just fine, but if I deselect the image and select it again, there are no keywords applied. I've tried a few different combinations of the Keywords settings but none of them seem to work any differently.  Is there something else I need to be looking at?

Can you export a collection from Bridge to Lightroom Classic and vice versa?

I updated this week to the new Camera Raw editing.  I absolutely hate the updated, it's a disaster! Very user-unfriendly!!!  Why changing a perfect working lay-out and tools. The menu selections on the right is very unpleasant. Please change it back!!!!  I was in the middle of working on a commercial job.   And now sudden my workflow slowed to a crawl.  To have to figure out where everything is and some tools have disappeared. Terrible! Change it back!!

 I deleted cache, but it dosen't work...How can I do?

Even with Bridge 10.1, I can't stomach the inefficient UI. What used to be an efficient tool now requires scrolling to view my complete keyword list. I much prefer Bridge 8.1, but while diagnosing other issues, I inadvertently uninstalled it.Is there a way to reinstall Bridge 8.1? Please?!?

I have just uploaded a batch of photos from various cameras using the latest versions of Bridge. All the the photos have the .NEF suffix, and are decribed as camera RAW images, even those from my wife's Panasonic cameras, which do not shoot RAW! What is going on?!

The issue is that Bridge CC is not showing a preview of any effects in the Library. I have researched this issue and apparently this has been an issue for many years.Issue:1. When trying to add an effect to Adobe After Effects CC 2019 via Bridge CC 2019, the preview of the effect will not play (see screen where it just shows a thumbnail).2. Solutions seem to be to reset preferences OR to load an older version of After Effects. I have reset preferences, dumped cache etc to no avail. This issues has been going on for years, so that solution does not make sense.3. This issue is different than others are having about thumbnails "going crazy". Thumbnails images display fine, effects do not preview at all.Any solutions to this issue?Image: This shows the effects, and the right side preview is only displaying a thumbnail, not playing the effect.

When I try to reach the desktop I receive this error message:The operation could not be completed.An unknown operating system error has occurred.MacOs 10.13.6

When I flip an image, a NEF file or the converted to dng version, the thumbnail in Bridge show the correct image. But when I choose export from Bridge I get the unflipped version as the exported file. A little Bug? Mac OSX and every piece of software up-to-date.

Hi everyone,Since updated Bridge from 10.0.4.157 to 10.1.0163 the program is no longer recognising RAW files (I use both Sony ARW and Lumix RW2). They only show as tile icons and not thumbnails or images. The Adobe helpdesk were quite unhelpful just telling me to update to earlier version but one without a few new features. I have tried resetting preferences and installing and reinstalling but without any luck. Running on a Windows 10 PC (but that shouldn't be the issue as it worked fine before). Thank you for any light you can shed on this irritating issue. 

When changing folders (from folder view) hangs, screen greys out, displays not responding message. Even when it works it only seems to show items from one level below selected folder. Running on Windows 10. 

Hi all, I've experienced this problems since a couple of weeks - don't know when it started, as I don't use Bridge that often.Wenn I go into the file path top left and click through the folder structure, the lines seem to "jump". I have to touch every line in the list with the mouse first to see them in correct order, see screen shot (there's one line half hidden under the first 2 items (settings), and all following items are ivisibly "moved" by that half line, until you hover.I'm on Windows 10, everything up to date, dual monitor setup Thanks for any pointers!
