Adobe Bridge 2025 always shows this message.Quick Action not applied.The operation could not be completed due to an unknown error.TKX

I was selecting a file in Bridge when my elbow slipped and I may have swiped the folder left. The folder has now disappeared from the entire system. It contained 232 photos. I had created the folder a short while before in the process of doing some "house keeping" in Bridge so it had not been backed up yet. It had been put into Lightroom CC but the folder now shows a ? mark and is unable to find the location of the folder. Any ideas on where it might be hiding?

HELP ME!!! I had all the irreplaceable pictures of my daughter's prom this last weekend and in the process of moving and renaming the folder, Bridge LOST all but one of the files.  I am a photographer so I use Bridge constantly and have never had this happen before. HELP! ANYONE!  I've searched the entire hard drive, trash, ran recovery programs searched the cache and done everything I can think of and they are simply vanished.  There were there. The camera card was reformatted so they are gone from that too.

It just makes no sense for this problem to continue for years on end. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind of new ideas and updates, some of which have been incredible but before adding more you should really stop and just take a moment to fix the things that are broken.  

I don't seem to be able to find and activate the option to auto advance when rating an image.

I have followed the instructions on how to use Workflow to Batch Rename.1. I click "New Workflow" and "Batch Rename"2. I enter a new name for the workflow and click "Save"3. I enter the destination folder4. I enter the details on how I want the file to be named5. I drag my images onto the saved Workflow6. I get a message saying that changes have been made. Save? I click "Save"7. All the changes I've made to the filename disappear :-(.What am I doing wrong?

Like the title says, how can I get the webp file type association in Bridge? I know about changing the opener preferences.xml file, but that isn't working. When I try to open a webp file from Bridge, it still has the file type associated with Photoshop 2023 for some reason. Of course, I don't have that installed as we are on 2025. I can't even get webp to show in the list of file types in Bridge so that I can change the association. It's in the xml file, in alphabetical order too. What is my next step? It is absolutely ridiculous that this hasn't been added officially yet. 

On a previous PC i made a script to copy labels and ratings from jpg to raw. I made it because I save both raw and jpg when photographing and when I look through Bridge load the jpg faster. So my workflow:Rate, label, delete jpgCopy rating etc to rawEdit the raw-files with high rating But nothing happens when I run this script (except the deselect all, that works). I have the latest version of Adobe Bridge CC on WIN 11. And although the preferred language for apps is set to German, Bridge is displayed in English. All other apps are displayed in German. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help either. How can I change this?

Adobe Bridge 15.0.1 is still slow. The last working fast version was 14.0.0. I don't understand what you did to it. 😞 The preview function is still slow to load since version 14.0.1 and it takes a few seconds longer. Try to focus on this problem. Waiting for the preview to render is really annoying. I find it odd/unnecessary that when I start my MBP, attached by a thunderbold cable to an iMac running with some external disks I ALWAYS need to mount all the disks in MBP, again and again (after MBP being detached). They are there, all the time. For example, it is possible to mount disks directly from another app, Carbon Copy Cloner. That would be a nice feature in Bridge! This is a proposition for Adobe, or if there is a solution let me know!

Hi, since Bridge 2023- new collections created by script do not show up; one has to close and reopen bridge- script items meant to appear in the context menu "after submenu/MoveTo" instead appear in the tools menu

Hello!  When I go and rename a batch and place it in a new folder, it looks as if the image is saved smaller or with a lower quality. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or how to properly batch rename. 

Can we configure an auto-advance (caps lock) shortcut in Bridge like the one in Lightroom? It would cut down on carpal tunnel!!

Bridge was working fine when installed a week ago (6/26/23- version 13.0.3.693) on a Mac Studio M2 max (ventura 13.4). Opened up folder of photos from iPhone 14 and appended meta data as usual (with copyright info etc.). Half the photos show the correct creation date (7/2/23) and the other half the wrong date (6/25/23). In settings I purged all caches- no fix. There are many reasons that is not a good thing- one being the order of listing. Please help!

Why is it in the content panel I can view and sort content by standard options, date modified etc but there is no option to view or sort by length ????I mean ... surely that should be one of the main ones. Is there no way to do this at all ? 

Hi , if you drag a folder to Bridge an the app opens there is quite some delay until the app show "file type" allthough it shows images Can we agree that after it finds a dng and jpg it would be nice that we could have instant feedback for the "file type" ?  Background:  Sometimes drives are old and sometime there are many files on a drive It would be good if we could instant select the main most found image formats.  Then we can relax and go get a coffee and let bridge do its thing of collecting all the data.  It makes me nuts that I have to stare at the screen and in the beginning I was not sure if the app was working correctly, because my main file types where not selecteble.  I would also be a fan of : what if I only have "dng,jpg and .mov or .mp4" and those are always selecteble in the sidebar. Hi,I'm finding that a keyword search in Bridge is not finding all my images.I think this is because many of the files are not indexed (I have a lot of files, accumulated over the last 20 years or so)Is there any way to force indexing of all images inside a folder (and subfolders) ? I'm currently doing a keyword search of the root folder with the option "Include Non-Indexed Files" enabled which is taking a while,  but it appears to be finding everything eventually. I'm hoping that when this is finished all the files will be indexed correctly and future searches will be fast, irrespective of keyword.But is there a better way to do this? Thanks for any help Liz

Using Bridge (15.0.0.397) clicking on files like JPG, PSD, EPS, etc. is launching a new project in After Effects. I have checked File Type Associations and they are all correct for their defaults. Is this a bug? 

Running PS & Bridge on Mac Mini 2018 with Sequoia 15.2. Bridge doesn't launch, gives msg ' “Adobe Bridge 2025.app” is damaged and can’t be opened.' I can't find a site to re-download Bridge 2025. Photoshop is OK.

Two days ago Bridge 2025 started crashing within seconds of launch. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, removed all bridge related files, uninstalled 2025 and gone back to 2024, and in each instance Bridge crashes. When I uninstall I remove the preferences file along with everything else, so now I can't use it. ANy suggestion on what I can do to make it work again would be appreciated.

Hello,I'm having the issue where every time I open a file in camera raw, it freezes the entire program. No pop-up, no error message, just frozen to the point I have to force close it on task manager. I've installed previous versions of Bridge, I've uninstalled/reinstalled. I looked at Bridge plug-ins and Camera Raw wasn't even there?! How do I fix this when Camera Raw can't even be uninstalled and reinstalled? It doesn't work in Photoshop, either. The only programs I have that support Raw are Lightroom/classic, but even that keeps lagging like crazy. I prefer Bridge.
