11.0.2.123 on Big Sur will not display thumbnail images and freezes. I have to force quit to make it go away. Seems to have just started doing this. Haven't opened the program in as long as a week. But definitely a problem this morning.
I am trying to install Adobe Bridge Desktop 11.0.2 however when I click install it immediately goes to "retry" and will not download. Here are my system specs: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)Processor: 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9Memory: 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB
I have quite a few scripts that i use to process multiple files. I would like to be able to call them from bridge in order to call selected thumbnails from multiple bridge documents. I have the basis modified from @DBarranca code but im new to bridgetalk and not certain how the structure works. How do i call this from a bridge menu item??? How/ where do a reference an external photoshop script that id like to call to run on these open files?? //from Davide Barrancas code #target photoshop if (BridgeTalk.isRunning('bridge')) { var bt = new BridgeTalk(); bt.target = "bridge"; bt.body = "" + getSelectedFilesPath.toString() + "; getSelectedFilesPath();"; bt.onResult = function(response) { var filesArray = eval(response.body); for (var i = 0; i < filesArray.length; i++) { app.open(new File(filesArray[i])) } } bt.onError = function(err) { alert("Error!\n" + err.body) } bt.send(20); alert("Done
Hello,Bridge 11.02 was not responding, I had to reistall it. But now it is not letting me create folders. I get the message "folder could not be created. In the Privacy settings I have given Full Disk access and Files and Folders access. I have Catalina. 10.15heeeeelpppppp! Thank you!
Since I upgraded to 64 bit on my Mac, I have been having issues with Bridge when I re-name files. Using the latest version of Bridge on an imac with latest Photoshop. Historically I rename a batch of files and they come out with the new file name and the existing file extension.(NEF). Now I rename the batch and it drops the file extension. The example of what the new file will be named INClUDES the extension, but the ectua files do not. I don't see any checkboxes I have missed. Without the file extension, the files are useless.
Hi everyone, So I learned about Adobe Bridge's keywording function and was so excited to organize my external hard drive through this system. Several of my projects have images made across the years and therefore live in different folders. The keywording system *seemed* to be a great idea to view all of the images of a single project simultaneously, even though they are stored in different folders. However, I found out via Customer Support that Bridge's Keywording function is only designed for images stored on the computer's internal hard drive. Bridge does not work for images that are keyworded that live on an external hard drive. It ONLY works for images stored on an external hard drive IF you hand click through each folder to activate the Keywording metadata of the images, which nullifies the point of keworking them for easy access in the first place. I don't see why it is not designed to work with external hard drives. Professionals and many hobbyists alike work primarily off
I'm using the most updated version of Bridge.I have a bunch of keywords (of course) and I used to be able to search my images that way. But recently, those searches have not worked. I have 200 images of Poptart, all set with keywords, but SOMETIMES when I type Poptart it will find them, and sometimes it won't work. What is happening? This program has become very unreliable, which is a shame.

Hi, I have an issue with Bridge 11.02 and BigSur 11.4When I launch Bridge it gets stuck. The log says:MacOS/Adobe Bridge 2021 (0x1055dde78). One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined.INFO | 2021-06-04 | 12:01:16.887 | 140550897427792 | Initialize | ********************Bridge Start********************INFO | 2021-06-04 | 12:01:16.888 | 140550897427792 | Initialize | Bridge Version: 11.0.2.123INFO | 2021-06-04 | 12:01:16.888 | 140550897427792 | Initialize | Load ZString file for stringsINFO | 2021-06-04 | 12:01:16.899 | 140550897427792 | Initialize | Load ZString file for shortcuts No way I can start with cmd-opt-shift in order to reset Preferences. I also tried to remove caches and preferences with no luck. If I create a new user (no migration) Bridge starts the first time, then it stops working again. Any suggestions?Cheers
When I click on file info to try to input metadata for my photos, the pop up window does not appear. I've tried restarting my computer and tried using different versions of Bridge i.e. 2020 and 2021 but the pop up window still does not appear.
Everytime I try to add a keyword I get a popup error. which I have to click on. On the second try it always works! This is very annoying especially when trying to update 100s of images. The same thing happens is I add a second keyword. Any idea how to eliminate these errors? Or is there a way to batch handle the errors so I don't have to click on 100s of popup errors? I'm working on an Mac Book Pro and using Bridge 2021.
I want to Batch Rename in a folder that contains .PBS files and the folder size is 500 GB. The problem is that it's been 1h and nothing happens ....At the bottom of the Bridge window it is marked: Generating thumbnails.... writing metadata....Thanks for your help.
Going nuts. Suddenly, Bridge v.11.0.2 search stopped working. Searched the forums here and the internet. Nothing works. Finally, downgraded to 11.0.1 and search works again. Can someone explain what is going on here? Thanks.
I keep getting a license error with Bridge... it is only with Bridge, Lightroom and Photoshow works fine. The Creative Cloud applet works fine. The upgrades work fine but BRIDGE can't get its head in the cloud and figure out what is going on... Any suggestions? The help site (which requires internet but tells you to check if you have internet access as the primary fix) doesn't offer any help.
I am using Windows and the latest version of Bridge CC (11.02). In the past, labels would always display when I was perusing through full size screen previews. I can apply a label there, but it doesn't display, so for instance, I can not see which images I have given a certain rating. What has changed is that I am dealing with larger images generated by the Sony Alpha A1 camera than with my prior Sony a7iii camera. Does anyone know how I can make Bridge display the label in full screen?
I open up sometimes 50-100 images at a time... Is there a shortcut in Adobe Camera Raw to jump to the next picture
This issue began last week, every time i go to open Bridge my left and right side panels are being closed and need to be expanded again into view. This is the show folders on the left side and the keyword/metadata fields on the right side. Even when the program is minimized and then expanded on screen the same issue is occuring. Its really obnoxious and never happened before. I purged the cache files but this hasn't helped fix the issue.
I am working on editing the metadata for a large number of photos. Several times now, Bridge has crashed and closed. Then, when I try to reopen the program, I get a message that says "The item 'Bridge.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved". If I try to open Bridge via the CC app, nothing happens when I click the button. The only solution I've found is to reinstall Bridge. This has happened multiple times already today. Any ideas?
Win 10, 32 GB RAM, fast SSDs here. When I use the keyword panel to set keywords to numerous files (mostly large psds) Bridge starts writing Metadata which is visible in the status bar. At some point, however, Bridge stops adding keywords and tells me that it creates thumbnails in the status bar (thumbnails are all there, no need to recreate them).I see this issue when adding, when removing and when combining add and remove keyword operations. Alternatively, I tried using the file info panel with all relevant files pre-selected. Again, Bridge stars doing its thing, but suddenly stops, long before it should. The keyword panel shows a dash in the checkbox, indicating that the keyword is partially assigned. If I click this dash I usually can restart the assignment (visible in status bar), but it will stop again. By repeating this procedure a couple of times one can write all desired keywords to the selection – but this all feels terribly slow and buggy. What can I do, to reliably write
I have uploaded a number of utility scripts and demos for Bridge and Photoshop to my Dropbox. The latest version of my Script Utility Pack for Bridge is there as well. These scripts are open source, Apache-licensed and free for you to use. They come with minimal testing and no guarantees. Utility Script Pack for Bridge
I am using Bridge to manage a large number of .wav audio files. Even though Bridge recognizes and plays them, there seems to be no way to add columns that make sense for audio, such as length or bit rate. Instead, Bridge offers options such as "dimensions" or "color profile". Is there a way to add some meaningful columns to audio file lists?
I would like to give a bunch of keywords a title, so that I can collapse them with a Toggle. I only want a name, the title should not be assignable. The help file says that brackets will do this. Not here. The keyword [Test] behaves like any other keyword. Is there anything I do wrong? English OS and Bridge GUI, German regional settings.
How and why does Bridge suddenly decide to not show PDFs either as thumbnails in "Essentials" or singulary in "Filmstrip"?
A lot of videos and photos that I took with an app don't have the right taken date. It's only yesterday I realised that the date of creation I put on videos in Lightroom can't be written. So I used Bridge to rewrite the right date on those videos but the Finder on mac still has the same wrong date of creation. The metadata applied in Bridge can be seen in Lightroom but not in the Finder. And I can't import them in Onedrive or Photos on mac because they read the date of the file in Finder that doesn't change. There are some families moments that I would love to get a notification from Onedrive or Photos during the correct day.Do you know how to force the date on Finder with these softwares? Adobe support keeps pushing me to Premiere Pro because of the videos. This is nonsense, even for photos the GPS isn't exported. Thank you
HelloI have a very large set of images that have previously been tagged with keywords in another programme. I managed to get the old metadatas in a text file that I cleaned. These keywords are now listed in an Excel spreadsheet, with the file name as the first column and different information for each image (subjects, sources, author, country...). So far I have managed to import the list of keywords, but I have not figured out how to automatically assign them to the different images. Is this possible?
