Hi there, I am using the latest version of Adobe Bridge on my laptop (a 2015 MacBook Pro). Running Big Sur 11.2. I am trying to keep my Mac for a few more months, but my laptop is really struggling with terribly slow speeds and a laptop which sounds like it is taking off. This happens the moment I use Bridge or Camera Raw to either view, caption or process any Fujifilm compressed Raw files. I have checked in with customer support but not been able to ease the issue. Bridge does not overload even if I load or process massive non fuji files from scans etc. So it seems like it is an issue with files from Fuji cameras, which is something I have heard of through other online posts. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received. I am aware the Mac is old, but it works perfectly well with everyhting else, and the fan rarely comes on. With Fuji files the fan comes on after a few seconds. Thanks...
On Bridge 2021, is there a way to ensure it always defaults to 'embedded' previews? On both my computers (Mac, Catalina) it defaults to "Always Generate" and 'High Quality' when Bridge is restarted. This causes tons of performance and battery drain problems when culling a card or folder with 100's or 1000's of images. Normally, I don't want Bridge to generate any previews.. i simply want a quick tool for fast browsing and culling using the embedded preview. Screenshot shows settings after starting up Bridge
Hi I get the following message when I try to double click an image in Bridge to open in Photoshop, all updates have been installed..........can you help?
I have updated (as of 2/4/21) to the latest versions of Photoshop, Bridge and ACR. When I open Photoshop or Bridge and access ACR, it is accessing version 12.4 of ACR, not the newly installed version 13.2. How do I fix this?
I have the new Mac Mini. I use Bridge CC's dialog to convert 3-5 raw images into a HDR.dng file. The previews look great but when the conversion is done, it looks like one of the raws, with blown highlights and dark shadows. Although the file size is now 100MB and can be re-opened in Camera Raw and re-balanced using the shadows/highlights sliders. But this redundancy should not occur. Is this a memory issue?
Bridge is not able to preview EXR 32 bits correctly. Previews are always very dark, like underexposed. Only if you zoom at 100% the display is correct. We already tried to purge cache, use software render instead of hardware, update all the drivers, etc Nothing change. We never had such issue with CC 2018.Anyone has similar issue?
Does anyone know what the slash across a thumbnail means? They are both Photoshop PSD files. The one on the left is the original, the one on the right was "Saved as" another name to see if anything changed. I don't see anything in the metadata that's different from any of my other PSD files. TIA!
We are happy to announce the release of Bridge 11.0.2 What’s in the 11.0.2 update? This release includes fixes for a number of customer-reported issues. Hey there, since quite a while I get that display bug, when I move my mouse through the breadcrumb menu items and only when the cursor "touches" the item, it shows correctly. If there are only a few items, it shifts by maybe hald a line and slightly to the right, if there are lots of them, it shifts by one full line. Can be worked around, still annoying. Has anyone else come across that? Win 10 64, most recent versions of everything, I BELIEVE this started happening with the 2021 updates.
Hello, I have recently keyworded thousands of photos in Adobe Bridge 2020 on a Macbook Pro macOS Catilina 10.15.4. When searching for a keyword in Bridge, if I use "Advanced Search, All Metadata, Keyword" I can see that I am missing several files that are keyworded. I can manually look up files inside of folders and see that they are keyworded correctly. If I click around inside of different folders, sometimes other missing keyworded files appear with a re-search, but I can see I am still missing some. I am not getting a lot of consistency with my search results. {Thread renamed by moderator}
It's April 9, 2021. My Windows 10 PC stopped uploading pics from my iPhone 4 or 5 days ago. I finally got time to search for a solution. After a lot of dead ends and old posts and install a Windows patch still no luck. I found something that said Adobe Bridge could to it. But web site was not Adobe.com so looked like spam. I searched and found "official" Adobe site and downloaded and installed the program. But now I'm trying to figure out how to upload the files from my iPhone 12 which I've had only about 2 or 3 months and was working fine up until a few days ago. My USB Type C cable is working fine and I turned of Streaming pics on my iphone and a few other adjustment, honestly it's so frustrating and sometimes you forget even all the things you already tried, even though I try to document every step by taking screen shots. It just wears me down to the point I'm will to even pay just to get the problem solved. I take a lot of pics but I don't want to spend my life trying to figure out
I am consistently experiencing 4 major issues while Batch Renaming image files in Bridge 2021 (Version 11.0.1 109) on a 2TB external hard drive (with 500 GB of space remaining): (a) Inside a folder I’m working on, not all the selected image files get renamed; a few random images retain the old name . . which I then have to reselect and run “Batch Rename” again, (b) A few random images shot with the same camera inside the same folder are renamed correctly, but the previews disappear, for some reason they are replaced with a generic “ON1 Photo 10” icon, and I can’t open them with Bridge / Photoshop / Lightroom, (c) “Batch renaming” seems to make my MacBook Pro overheat quickly and get hung up somewhere in the renaming process (but the spinning pinwheel of death doesn’t appear), and I can’t do anything else, including quit Bridge (I have to routinely Force Quit). (d) While Batch Renaming, sometimes Bridge simply quits by itself without any warning. macOS CatalinaV
Is there a way in Bridge to filter or search for just the files that have been modified in Camera Raw? I'd even take a way to filter where Creation Date does not equal Modified Date. Thanks!
After the latest Creative Suite update, Bridge will no longer boot.
Is it possible to synchronised Bridge with other users? I would like to share my work on Bridge with colleagues. When I create a collection from my computer, for instance, can my colleague see and modify the collection from his laptop? Does the modifiction appear on my ''collection''?Is there a way to connect Bridge and network with different users? Thanks for your help
Got a new laptop and installed my old CS4 suit and same problem as always. I can't view CR2 files in Photoshop or Bridge. I remember last time I updated my camera raw version but I tried that today with the 13-1 version but it doesn't work. Photoshop still says it's 5.0.Tried almost everthing I've read on the internet.
This happened in the past week or so and I do not know what has changed. Other apps are able to show NEF thumbnails. The menu item for Camera Raw Preferences under the Bridge Edit menu is grayed out. I cannot find anyplace else where there might be settings. It is really annoying to not be able to see the thumbnails and makes the app rather useless. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Bridge but that did nothing. Cannot find a way to uninstall/reinstall Camera Raw. I am taking a class right now and really need to figure out what is wrong and how to get them back. Hope someone can help. Thanks.
Bridge can be a pain! All of a sudden I'm no longer getting a hierarchical display of folders in the left hand window from either the desktop or any of my external hard drives. I don't know how I lost that ability. This happens to me often in Bridge...sometimes I mistakenly or inadvertently hit a key and poof! my entire workspace and flow is screwed up and it takes me over an hour to figure it out. I really hate when this happens.So....how do I get the display of folders back in the left window? Many thanks...
I'm posting this after I spent a lot of time looking at various places on the Adobe website and the web but can't find a place for downloading Bridge compatible with Windows 7.I will greatly appreciate help with this
I have a scanned photo collection that I batch rename in bridge as well as batch-change the date created. Is there a way to batch-change the the time so that it is sequential? For example, I don't want all the photos for 1986-01 to be ONE TIME, I'd like them to be 12:01, 12:02, 12:03. As of now, I can only find how to change the time in a batch to the same time.
Instale la nueva versión de Adobe Bridge y al iniciarlo me lanza GENERIC_ERROR.TITLE (generic_error.desc) [Moderator moved from Download & Install to Bridge.]
I have just upgraded to IOS 11.2.3 Big Sur and upgraded to PS 22.3.0, Bridge 11.0.1 and ACR 13.2. Now I can't open RAW images from the bridge into Photoshop. I get the error message from PS " Can not open because of file # disk error" I have tried all the suggested fixes and have tried several card readers and cards to no avail. Any new suggestions?
Everytime I now log into Bridge v11.0.1, I get a pop-up message saying that Adobe can't confirm my subscription status. This is possibly (I'm told) because I'm not connected to the internet. I should also (I'm advised) uncheck the automatic updating of my clock in Preferences on my iMac. I am connected to the internet and unchecking the automating updating of the clock on my Mac makes no difference at all. However, if I log in using the previous version of Bridge (v10.1.1) I have no such problems. What is going on here? I should add two things. If I dismiss the pop-up message, I can still use Bridge v11.0.1 fine. And while the pop-up message isn't serious, it is increasingly annoying. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled v 11.0.1 but it makes no difference: I get the same problem. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Go to your System Preferences and select Security and Privacy (found in the top section). Now click on the Privacy setting (last tab). Now click on the lock on the bottom left and provide your Administrator code. Now select the Full Disk Access option and click on the "+" symbol. This will bring up the standard Mac Open window and let you add any application you want or need to have full access. Look for Bridge, select it, it will now appear in that window and make sure it's checked. Next go to the Files and Folders option and do the same thing as above (although there's nothing to check, just add. Close everything down and see if that makes it all work. Please let me know
