Quite regularly my browsers (all of them, Firefox, Chrome, Safari — even VLC Player) start playing all videos on fast forward so that any video will end in less than a couple of seconds. The only fix is to quit Bridge. Once Bridge is gone, everything plays fine and I can start Bridge again. After a while, everything goes check again. This has been a problem for a while, but I've only recently found that it is Bridge causing the problem.System: Mac OS X 10.14.5 Adobe Bridge 9.0.3.279 (and before) iMac Pro, 64GB RAM, 10-core Adobe Creative Cloud 4.8.2.476 (all apps up to date)Any help would be appreciated. Maybe there a setting that lets you uncheck "speeds up videos in browsers and viewers so they can't be seen." 🙂
Hi,Currently, it is possible to find photoshop, illustrator and indesign adobe file types. Is it possible to find after effects or premiere file types? Those 2 types are not options in the drop down menu of the find dialogue box.
Since iView/Media Pro is about to hit the 32bit wall, I'm trying to figure new ways to manage the assets (DAM).One item is file renaming. Today I'm trying Bridge, which I've had for decades (or so) but never used.I managed to get it to rename like this:2019-06-07-110713.jpgbut I want it like this:2019-06-07-11-07-13.jpgSo Bridge almost does it, but that last block has hoursminuitesseconds as one blockSearching these here forums implies there's a way to do this with "regular expresseions" but I have not seen an example with plain hyphen separators (no spaces, no slashes, no colons)Do any of you know how to do a YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss rename?
Hi,In Bridge 8 on Windows or MAC : We have sometimes issues when we try to edit some metadata of JPG pictures from Shutterstock. There is a pop-up telling that edit of metadata did not worked.Do you know what could be the reason?Thank you for your help!Simon
Preciso reduzir várias imagens e que elas tenham até 300k de peso.
This is more feedback than a problem. The space between items in the Folders and Favourites view is too tall, almost double the previous version of Bridge. So now we have to scroll to see the entire list of items, even with the font size at its smallest. Terrible UI design. There is also no way of hiding the star ratings beneath thumbnails in content view now. In previous versions these could be hidden. This wastes screen space for those of us who don't use it.The whole point of an app like Bridge is that the UI is minimal so that we can see our content.
Hi, Does anyone know if I can use the Bridge Camera Raw editing features if I purchase Photoshop Elements? Many thanks
Bridge has never really worked well for me, a great idea but the stability has always been pretty hopeless, but as well as crashing frequently on both Mac and PC, I have a new issue. In Windos 10, I can see the AI file I want to work on, I can label it as approved etc in bridge, but tyro to double click to open it and it proudly shows me a blank Illustrator window, no file opens. Currently installing an older version, at least 8 could open a file - pretty basic functionality to be missing.Anyone else getting this?
I am trying to import images into Bridge using an iMac v 10.13.5 High Sierra. Why does it cash? Is there a workaround?
Almost every time I save a new file from any adobe application & if Bridge is open in another window, it will become unresponsive for a few seconds to a few minutes - this happens almost everytime I save a new file that happens to be saved within the same location as the active window within bridge, or even Im not saving a file and just happen to switch to bridge - although to be fair it does happen a lot more often when Im saving a file, PDFs seem to be the worst offender. This has been happening for months now on my work mac AND the only fix I have (apart from waiting a minute or two) is to open a new Bridge window from the finder menu, the new window will respond even if the old window is still "unresponsive" this tells me that it isnt because mac is still saving the file or anything like that. Hi guys, I’ve been using Lightroom since a month to add metadata and geotags to photos. It works good but is there a better alternative? Because now I end up importing photos in Lightroom only to add metadata while there is no need to develop or adjust the appearance. There must be an easier way. Greetings,A. Silva
Bridge CC photo downloader freezes when i try to connect with my nikon D7200. It works fine with my D200. I have the same problem with Bridge CS6. I have updated everything, i just downloaded the CC suite, so everything is up to date. This has been an ongoing issue, thought it might be solved once in transitioned to the full CC suite. Help!Laurel Pepin
Hi,I have Adobe CS6 working over Win 10. Recently I have a virus infection, after clean all, found that when I open Bridge everything freezes, I can't navigate at all and actually have to force quit to get out. I clean preference while open through Illustrator, try to re install photoshop, delete manually all folders in AppData, upgrade to a new version but nothing work. Please help!
Hello all,PDFs created with the Output Module with Bridge 2018 and 2019 have the wrong colours, respectively the wrong / none colour profile. We are using Bridge 2017, manually installing the missing output module, only for something as basic as creating a PDF with the right colours.Wait, what???There are plenty of discussions already and it is a known bug for like 2 years.I can't even believe that this issue hasn't been fixed!!!On top of that CC Photoshop 2017 and CC Bridge 2017 are now discontinued versions and you may be at risk of potential claims of infringement by third parties.Excuse me???!!!This is extremely frustrating. Please Adobe, get this fixed NOW.Best,Team Digirox
Has anybody any experience to share regarding Bridge CC 2019 on 4K displays? There is plenty to read regarding UI size issues but no simple solution that I have seen.I must add that I don't have 4K displays myself so I have not seen the issue personally.I was considering buying 4K displays but I don't wish to go that way if I will be unable to use Bridge.(Same comments with Photoshop CC 2019 too!)
I lost all saved keywords after having to change the Bridge CC 2018 cache location. Now when I go to Users/keithdannemiller/Library/Application Support/ Adobe/Bridge CC2018/Adobe Bridge keywords there is no existing .xml file. I can see complete keywords in individual images, but my library of thousands of keywords has disappeared. Any ideas? Why would there not even exist a keywords .xml file if I am seeing extensive keywords in my files?
I create "contact sheets" in the output module of Bridge to give to clients to show all the images I have prepared. Lately they are rendered with very high saturation and do not show color accurately - This does not occur all the time nor does it happen to all of the images on each page. Any ideas on how to correct this?
I need to add date and time photo was taken. I know this is in metadata but I need it to be on the actual image in right hand corner. My Canon 6D doesn't automatically do this. Thanks for your input.
Running latest Adobe CC as of May 2019 (9.0.3.2.79). I occasionally use Bridge and, although a hassle, up until now I could export my latest, edited Lightroom keyword list and import it into Bridge whenever necessary. With this update, I no longer have the import/export capabilities in Bridge's Keyword panel. Any ideas where it went to? Is there an alternative method?
I would like to know why the same PSB is 24,49GB in Bridge, and opened in PS only 13,3GB ?
Trying to clean up some old projects with.jpg's created from .dng. Want to batch rename the pairs but it creates sequential file numbers. As an example if there are 2 images 1.dng 1.jpg 2.dng 2.jpg and I want to rename them Snow1.dng Snow1.jpg Snow2.dng Snow2.jpg the renaming will be Snow1.dng Snow2.jpg Snow3.dng Snow4.jpg. It works fine with pairs of RAW and JPG files but not DNG and JPG. Appreciate any suggestions.
When using Bridge 2019 for macOS the size of my thumbnails decrease when I use window managing apps to change the app window e.g. move Bridge's window to half way down the screen. In Bridge 2018 the thumbnails stay the same size, as they should. Can you fix this?
After Bridge CS4 glitched/froze last week while I was entitling an image, I came to the Forum and learned that I should purge central cache. After doing a Force Quit and after rebooting my iMac (OS 10.11.6), I did purges of individual folders first, then the central purge. But now I cannot Find anything using the Find box at the top right of CS4 or from the Edit>Find drop-down menu or by using Spotlight (which shows images, but not the dates or where the images are). I can always go to my hard drive and search for an image there and then, using the date, go back to Bridge and scroll to the date to see the image, but that gets old fast. What can I do to regain the Find feature? (Find works fine everywhere else.)Individual folders in CS4 also now take longer to populate the images and seem to be going through a different process than previously. Can anyone give me a solution to these issues?
New problem that’s started since upgrading to Bridge CC2019 (v 9.0.0.2014 on Mac OS 10.13.6):I work with a lot of Bridge Collections at work, and have others send me Collections from a massive image library at work. I also occasionally need to manually manipulate and edit the files to easily alter the locations of images or find missing images. This means we’re often moving .filelist files in and out of the Collections folder. (Of course, we do all of this when Bridge is closed, then relaunch.) As of the CC2019 upgrade, making changes in the folder sometimes (most of the time) prevents Bridge from relaunching. No error, crash, stall, or report window. Initially get the bouncing icon in the Dock, then… nothing. Even when restoring any removed files or removing new ones, Bridge refuses to launch. The only solution so far is uninstalling and reinstalling through the CC app. When it has launched after a change, Bridge has asked me if I wanted to import preferences from a previous version,
