Bridge

Hi there, I have a group of images that have somehow had their document type changed. Each individual image in this folder has a different document type of ascending numbers instead of what it should be which is ‘camera raw image’. The only thing I have changed was ‘batch rename’ & when I went back into that to have back track my steps, i noticed that the file name no longer has .CR2 at the end of it which would identify it as an image from my kind of camera. I am unsure how this has happened, but I really want to know how to get it back to the original document type, because currently i am having problems opening the photo in photoshop from bridge as photoshop does not recognise the file type anymore.I have tried to contact adobe but theyre busy with other people. Any help would be appreciated!Thanks in advance!

When I enter full screen mode in bridge and scroll and rate my images. There seems to be a constant fade in exposure on the image. Its quite annoying, and needs some looking into. Any tips/advice/suggestions?

HiI used to use (!) Elements 8 but thinks it's time to move on.But, can anybody tell me how to use the filters. En Elements I have a categori called "Family" and subcategoris called my families names.In Bridge I cannot make the main-categori - only all the names, the places, the events, ... What a mess. It's the filters in the left side I'm talking about - the keywords in the right side (for each picture) are in categories (people->Rasmus, places->Copenhagen, ...) Can anybody help me? - have tried Google...

It looks like the script itself is imported to the new version - but When I ytry to run it IT stops in PS ( 2021 ) And I get a Dialog box saying "THe command unknown is not available "Any suggestions how to get  Image processor Pro to work My current version ( that works in Bridge 2020 ) Is 2.3.0OSX 10.14 (  Mojave )

I can't get Bridge to launch after updating to 2021.  Here is the top half of the crash report. Any ideas how to fix it? (I've done a complete reinstall and a delete and install but same problem.). One of the many tasks for which I use Bridge is easily moving items between folders. On my Mac (at home), this is always a pleasure. Almost downright arousing.In Windows (at work), however, if I switch folders, the entire tree collapses so I have to then drill down to find the folder I wanted to move things to or from. This happens every single time. In Windows, it is actually easir to open two folder/explorer windows to drag & drop between them than to use Bridge. Is this a known bug in Windows? Does anyone else have this problem?

hi,were using the latest version of Bridge on our catalina macs.photos, illustrator files from stock are on a lokal windows server.the performance of the bridge is very slow and bridge shows not all files.the change from metatags is delayed.is there a workaround to get more performence?thanks chris 

I've got eight thumbnails I've edited in camera raw settings selected.  I need to save them as jpeg files so I can send them to my instructor.  How do I switch the camera raw files to jpeg?

I have an issue with Bridge 2020 release 10.0.04 where I cannot fully save workspace changes, even as a new custom workspace. For exampleIn the Preview workspace I first shrink the left side panels so as to be invisible. Next I shrink the content panel until there is a only a single vertical column of thumbnails visible, and I set the grid to locked. Now I have a really nice big preview panel. I save this arrangement as a custom workspace that I call Large Preview.If I switch to another workspace, then come back to my custom Large Preview workspace, the layout is changed. The width of the content panel is increased and now I have three columns of thumbnails, which I don't want.This is a simple but annoying problem. I don't remember this in earlier versions of Bridge but to be honest I haven’t used Bridge in quite a while, just coming back to it nowAny ideas?

Ich habe eine Frage zum Metadatenformular bei Bridge (Adobe Bridge 2020 & CC): Ich soll für meinen Arbeitgeber das Feld "Kategorie" in den Metadaten ausfüllen. Es muss exakt dieses Feld sein, kann es aber nicht finden. Auch unter Dateiinformationen in Photoshop entdecke ich es nicht. Kennt jemand das Problem und hat einen Tipp? Vielen Dank im Voraus...

Bridge 2021: doubleclicking on an image opens ps-elements (raw)  instead of PS2021. Any way to make it open PS? On menu-item "open with" in menu "file" it is stated that "elements" is standard, but i see no possibility to change this to the 'real' PS....thx

I can't seem to get my edited crw files to save as jpgs any more.  Wher is the save as button? I have 3 open as options, none save batches of images, and a done button, that seems to save changes but only as crw's.  My workflow is grindig to a halt.

Hello everybody. Due to the current pandemic situation, I've had to move my office from my work location to my home, so I have my computer system now setup in my basement. I have very fast internet, 1gig fibre down and 35mb upload speed When I was using Adobe Bridge on the local network at work, it was very very fast.. I would cache the files and browsing through directories with files was a breeze. Now, I have to connect to my network using a VPN and connecting to those mapped drives.  The problem I am finding is that while everything works perfectly fine in every way, the only issue I am finding is that Brige does not Cache the files and directories permanently -- as in if I was browsing through some folders with files, the previews take a very long time to show up -- I can see in the network activity it is downloading the files to get the preview images. Once the preview is generated, the folders are very fast to browse through. If I close bridge, it will have to

Hi,I just updated my Bridge and labels don't work. I pretty much tried everything. Any suggestions? 

When I download photos from my Canon EOS R, I tick the convert to DNG box. However, it keeps saying it was unable to convert. So I keep having to do this seperately with the Adobe DNG converter. I'm using Windows 10, any help would be apreciated. Thank you.

I'm using a Windows Dell Machine.Since updating Photoshop and Bridge, I can not open a PSD file in Photoshop from Bridge; it will only attempt to open the file in Fresco.  Moreover, when attempting to set program defaults for opening PSB files in Windows, Fresco is listed as the default and Windows won't provide Photoshop 2021 as an option.  PSD files can be opened through Lightroom and by going through the File>Open function in Photoshop. Is this a programming error or some setting that I need to modify?

On past versions of Bridge, the Photo Downloader used to save previous settings, which meant that you could set it up the way you liked it and it would save the copyright metadata that you put in the Advanced Dialogue section. In the last two versions of Bridge, it no longer does this and you have to go through the rigmarole of having to change the file location and writing in metadata every time you download photos. Really irritating! Is there a checkbox somewhere that saves your preferred settings?

Beginning with Bridge 11.0.0, ANY export setting that includes resizing an image results in an error. Here's a screen shot.This happens with any type if image (JPG, RAW, PSD)Anyone else have this problem?  

10.1 didn't have this problem, but 11.0 does. Exported images are oversaturated and too much contrast. This is not a color management issue. If I save the iamge in photoshop, it is correct. If I export it in Bridge, it is oversautrated and too much contrast. Same color space (sRGB).The difference is apparent, even when viewing in photoshop. Like I said: not a color management issue.Please tell me there is a fix for this.

latest photoshop brigde manages to use 100% of my processor while doing nothing special. The new photoshop works properly and uses less than 8% of my processor. Can someone tell me what's going on with that new bridge?

Wonderful. "Open in camera raw" does not work in bridge any more. This is vital to my workflow. Camera Raw opens properly in Photoshop. Double-clicking brings up the Camera Raw window, just hitting command+R in Bridge doesn't work.Mac OS 10.15.7Bridge 2021 11.0.0I've tried unisntalling. reinstalling, earlier versions, Creatlive Cloud Cleaner Tool...no luck. Still broken. I'm out of ideas. HELP!

Last week I updated to Bridge 11 and uninstalled the previous version. On Saturday the clocks went back an hour in the UK. Since Sunday morning I have been getting the above message (see attached image) every time I open Bridge.  I get the same on 2 different computers.  I have a relialbe internet connection (chrome browser, email working fine) lightroom also working ok, I have cahnged the clock setting as suggested. I have also signed out of all Adobe apps in Bridge and then re-signed in.  No change. I should add that if I just close the dialogue box Bridge does seem to work fine.   Any suggestions to solve this problem.CHeers GG
