Bridge

I used to be able to build easy contact sheets in Adobe Bridge CS6.  The latest version that I am running (2017 Release - 7.0.0.93 X64) edition does not allow an easy function.  On the version I am running the Output Mode is not visible in the standard workspace.  I have checked under Windows>Workspace and the Output option does not exist.  When I go to Edit>Preferences>Startup>Scripts there is not an option there for creating workspace.  Is there a work around to create PDF contact sheets?  I can create Contact sheets in Photoshop, but they look unprofessional and have zero versatility that existed in PDF Contact sheets.  Thank you in advance for any direction you can give

After last updates, I've discovered that new Camera Raw presents (which I should add to favorites to make them appear under Edit/Develop Settings) didn't shows in Bridge without restart application It's very inconvenient.Well let me describe my actions:Open Bridge, select raw photo, double clickOpen this photo in Camera Raw, edit settingsSave this setting, add it to favorites (as described in Camera Raw Version 10.3 won't show "apply preset" anywhere...)Back to Bridge, select other photo, right click - Develop settings... and see nothing, new present didn't appear! Need to close BridgeStart Bridge againSearch for other photo againThat's drives me insane! Why would you do that? I feel like I want to murder who did this update!

Habe bei Bridge folgende Fehlermeldung beim Start: Der Vorgang konnte nicht erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden. Kann im Programm selbst nicht ändern da die Meldung jegliche Handlung blockiert. Läuft auf einem PC mit Windows 8.1 64 bit.

wenn ich verschiedene Kameras im Einsatz habe, die im Datum synchronisiert sind, lassen sich die Fotos daraus nicht in Bridge unter "Ansicht > nach dem Erstellungsdatum" sortieren.  Zunächst erscheinen die Fotos der einen und darunter die Fotos aus der anderen Kamera, jeweils nach dem Erstellungsdatum der jeweiligen Kamera, aber eben nicht gesamt Sehr ärgerlich und lästig, alles manuell zu machen.Danke für Tipps und Hilfe!

... and I mean constantly! Every single time I open it, it crashes—over and over again until finally it stays up. I literally have to force-quit four or more times before it becomes stable. The only thing reinforcing my tenacity is how dependent I am on it. I need Bridge for my workflow, but it's getting to the point that I have become a cussing, fuming lunatic on a daily basis.Is there any plan to make Bridge more stable? I accidentally used the image processor to flatten my images. Is there any way to undo this action please? 

I would like to enter the number of Likes an image receives on Instagram or facebook somewhere in the Metadata and then sort on that field. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Which metadata field to use? Thanks, Jeff

Opening mini-bridge in CS6 photoshop does not bring up a pop-up menu on left side of panel for file selection...is there a setting I am missing?

A recent update seems to have removed the ability to create a "custom preset" and then "apply" it to an image file from within the Bridge workspace.I used to be able to select a series of *.cr2 files in the content panel, right mouse click, have all my "custom presets" as an option in the menu list, select the preset, and apply it to all the images without having to open them up in ACR.It is no longer there as an option.Where has this valuable tool gone?

Normally I do my rough editing and weeding out of unwanted images in Bridge.  I press the spacebar and the image fills the screen, and then I can press a number to rate it and press arrow key to go to the next.  If I want more detail I use + or use the mouse wheel to go larger.Now however, after pressing the spacebar and getting the full screen image I get out-of-focus images that would cause me to delete them, if I hadn't already known that they were not really blurry.  When I enlarge the image by the methods indicated, I get a sharp image.Previously, it sometimes took a few seconds for such an out of focus image to fully load and snap to sharpness, but now it could sit there for hours unchanged.I have tried restarting the computer, reset the bridge cache, looking at images within a single folder, instead of the multifolder search of all the folders on my recent trip and nothing is changing this.These are Nikon RAW images and I can't continue editing in this situation.I

Bridge CC 8.0.1.282In the process of rating a group of photos, sometimes when assigning a star rating to a photo, the sort order changes, which makes editing slower. The group is sorted by Ascending Creation Date. For instance, consider three photos, numbered 1, 2, 3, and in the desired sort order. If I assign a 5-star rating to no. 2, the order changes to 2, 1, 3. The issue is inconsistent, both within a group, and from group to group.Please help! I have 3K images to rate.

Hi,I've recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and deactivated my old laptop CC account but now Bridge is not letting me rename, move photos to other folders and rate photos. This is occurring to new photos and old photos that I've imported from my backups. Is there a setting I need to change? I've never had this issue before. Thank you in advance for any answers.

I am trying to launch Bridge and I keep getting the error "the operation could not be completed. A write permissions error has occurred". I use Bridge almost everyday and I can't use the app and its very frustrating!

This screen shot is from Bridge:The artboard for the file on the left is 4"x4". For the file on the right, it is 1.7" x 1.7". So why do I get the large preview for the smaller artboard?

I'd like to copy filename to the Headline field in the IPTC, can anyone help me? I am using Bridge CC, but could do it in CS6. I am on a Mac. I need to do this to all images in a folder.

I have a large folder of images that was produced by combining several different folders. The keywords are a mess. I'd like to tidy it up.1) There are a lot of duplicates. For example, "Flower" as a major keyword, and also Plants>Flowers. How do I combine these two?2) There are a LOT of irrelevant keywords that I don't want or need, but which are clutting up the Keywords Panel. How do I eliminate them?

I just noticed this little message below the Filter panel in the lower right. Why would some items be "hidden"?

How do I filter my images using a keyword as a negative, i.e. "show me all the images that do NOT have the keyword "flower"?

Out of the blue, I can no longer delete or move pics in my Picture folder without getting a permission message.  I can do so OK in my Dropbox folder.  If I switch to Finder, I can delete and move pics in both folders.  So the problem is unique to Bridge and the one folder.I am running OS 10.13.5 and Bridge 5.0.2.4Appreciate some help.

I"m a Windows 10 user and I have Photoshop Elements 2018. My wife is a Mac user, and doesn't yet have any Adobe products. We already have external hard drives, and a cloud back up service which we share.I understand that Photoshop Elements will not allow more than one user to access its database / catalog. I'm trying to find a solution that would allow us to both work on our photos, store them on a common folder structure, with common tags. If my wife bought Photoshop Elements for Mac, would Bridge help us do this? If not is there ANY (affordable for individuals!) Adobe product that will let us achieve this? Since other products (e.g. Google Photos) don't have either a folder structure, nor a way of tagging, I'm sure those wouldn't be a solution.If Bridge and/or Adobe won't work, does any ready know of a product that might work?Thanks

My preview screen will not display correctly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge with no luck. Also reset all the settings. Can someone please help me out? Thanks.

I have setup a list a metadata templates that I use very often. I just upgraded my operating system to macOS 10.13.4. Prior to that, I was 10.10. Before the upgrade, the list of metadata templates were in alphabetical order. After the installation of the new operating system, it is a random mess with no reason for the order. How can I get the templates back in to the same order that they were prior to the OS upgrade? Thank you for the Help  Kevin

I have to rename a library of files individually, and when I try to rename a file and press Enter, it goes back to the old name. I have to try the process 3-4 times before the new name sticks. I have about 10, 00 files to rename, so I can't be trying each on multiple times. Is there a way to fix this?

So i bought a new card, sandisk 64gb and bridge has a small padlock sign in the top right hand corner on these photos and then they dont show they just have the bridge icon... does anyone know why this is?they are CR2 files. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,I am on a Mac OS X Yosemite and I am inserting my SD cards directly into the SD card reader at the back of the iMac Retina 5K. Just recently I noticed that Bridge Photo Downloader is putting hashtags and numbers after my SD card name (see pic). This is one card called "Untitled" and now Bridge is calling it "Untitled #1" and "Untitled #2". The difference between the two appears to be that #1 has the thumbnail files included and #2 is just the raw footage. It looks like some kind of partitioning function by Bridge.When I try to download photos from the SD card I get "Files Were Not Obtained from Device" error message. This happens when I select #2 and sometimes when I try to access the cards from #1. I have verified the cards using disk utility and they are fine. I have even done a repair just in case but Disk Utility says they are fine. I am using both Sandisk and Samsung class 10 cards and I have never had a problem with either of these brands prior when using Bridge Ph
