Bridge

Looking for advice:I use Bridge daily. I work with a media company that creates many graphic assets with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Premier and After Effects. The media company's current content management feels clumsy and limited compared to my experiences with Bridge. I am looking for a video that can communicate Bridge's benefits to the management and the users. They (and I) need to know its limitations too. I don't want them to suddenly grow out of it.Any suggestions?

Hello, We are running Mojave OS using CS 2019.  We are having issues with Bridge loading the previews of PSD files.  We went back to Adobe Bridge 2018 with the same results.  However, 2018 and 2019 do not have any issues with JPGS or large tiffs. Is anyone having this issue? Been monitoring the Activity Monitor for both versions and when trying to build previews for PSDs, the memory usage goes up to 3.0+gb for both the application and iconserviceagent.  Bridge stops responding and then comes back to life. I am running a 2019 iMac, 3.6Ghz Intel i9 with 64gb RAM on Mojave 10.14.6. Thanks,Morgan

Hi there.I haven't been able to find an answer, so I thought I'd ask you folks.This friend of mine, a hobby photographer, would like to get more into taking RAW images instead of jpg straight out of cam. This requires him to get a RAW converter of course.I'm mostly using Bridge for all my basic editing duties, so naturally I'd suggest Bridge to him too. Now it reads that Bridge is totaly free of charge for everybody, but is it really?Will Bridge work, even if he doesn't have Photoshop or any other Adobe software installed on his computer?I've heard rumors that even though Bridge is free of charge, it won't work if there's no orther Adobe CC application alongside. For him it would be the perfect solution, as he's really just a hobbyist and doesn't have the funds for buying expensive software (Photoshop elements might be within his budget, but I know he wouldn't even use it as he isn't particularly good with computers. Is it possible to move Bridge from C: SSD to my 😧 HHD. Would it work installing the single program Adobe Bridge to D and would it be work with my creative Cloud Programs on my C DriveI realize under preferences Creative Cloud there is the option the change the install location. I'm wondering if I can installjust one program to the D driveWould I have to uninstall and then reinstall the programs or is it possible to use AOMEI or EaseUS PC Transfer Software  or similar software (free versions) to move the program. Thanks

I copy a couple of pictures in Bridge and choose Place in InDesign, but when I select my active InDesign (CC2019) to place those pictures, they do not appear and instead a previous verson of InDesign (CC2017, although I also have the 2018) opens and the pictures are ready to be places. Any idea someone? Thanks and regards.

Why did Bridge convert my RAW photos to EXE files when I attempted to batch rename the photos? The picture shows when I click on the file but it won't open in Photoshop or Lightroom. How do I convert them back to the original? I work on a Mac OSX 10.6.8

I have a problem with keywords in Bridge, maybe caused by too many keywords or too many pics (there are lots of them distributed on many folders). The problem is that the keyword list seems to be seriously truncated. How do I fix this?

For years I have used Bridge to download raw images from my camera which are automatically saved in my Pictures. Suddenly I am getting 'Location is not available c:\users\Eric\Document\My Pictures is not accessible.' Access is Denied. I am now unable to access years of images. Help please.

I have about 1000 folders with various numbers of tiffs in each folder and I am trying to figure out a simple mod to the DIY Metadata script that will apply metadata to all of the images in each folder. So each line in my tab-delimited text file would be a folder name followed by the appropriate metadata. The script would apply that same metadata to all of the tiffs in each folder.Any ideas?

every time I change the stars on an item in bridge, my application completely crashes. I have never experienced such an insane glitch from Adobe. This is keeping me from accomplishing all of my work. PLZ HELP ASAP

Where would I go to view the “hidden images” - I use bridge to do all camera raw adjustments before taking to photoshop. I use a card reader & do not download all images on card to bridge. I view from my card but it seems to be hiding images more frequently. How can I access these or resolve them from going in hiding? 🙂 

Modified date does not work since recent updates... of course maybe it just here on this mac... does anyone have an idea?

Hello!The html panels are working good until I pressed the space key(full screen). After that the extensions stop working. I have a custom panel I changed the type of extension in manifest  file to  <Type>Embedded</Type> . If I changed  the type to Modeless it works perfectly.I tried with other computers and the issue remains the same.Even the official extensions have this problem since version 8.1! The 8.0 is the only version that doesn´t have this issue.

Apparently the use a wasted space in Bridge is carrying over to the forum now.Instead of seeing many topics at once, now we have to endlessly scroll?Why do so many designers now think extra padding/leading is such a good thing?

Hi,I recently opened Bridge, applied a filter to a selection of pictures and now want to save all of those images as new JPEG Files. In the past I would go to Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor. However, there now doesn't seem to be that option and when I search Image Processor in the Help Bar there are no results. Dear forum,I created a TabbedPalette and now want it to add automatically on start up. I have no clue what the reason behind this problem might be. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, clearing preferences, the registry, and I've made sure all drivers are up to date. No such problems occur with other CC apps. I attempted to use older versions of Bridge, but the problems persisted. When I tried 8.1, it started, but basic functionality caused it to crash.I see no obvious solution to this, I'll be glad for any help.
