I have both CC 2018 and 2019, however when I open an image in Bridge to edit it defaults to CC 2018. There is nothing in the preference box to get Bridge to use CC 2019. How do I get Bridge to select the correct version of PS as a default?
Earlier today I added some files to Adobe Bridge. No Problem. Now it won't open. I'm running version 9.02.219 of Bridge on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.2. Lots of RAM. When I installed Mojave I did a clean install, so there shouldn't be any legacy issues. Always installed Bridge via Creative Cloud.I have tried rebooting to no avail. I have tried opening Bridge holding down the Option key, and holding down the Shift + Option + Command keys. The same dialog box pops up either way and I check all three boxes. This has worked when this issue cropped up in earlier versions of Bridge, but this time I get a spinning beach ball and have to force quit.I have about 12,000 images indexed in Bridge, but that is well below the limit. Looking through all the online commentary I get two categories of answer: start it up holding down the keys I mentioned earlier, or 'we have fixed this and please install the latest version of Bridge'. I have been using the latest version. And this has been going on for w
after working perfectly for a long time, now Bridge is crashing whenever I try to mark a photo with a label or a rating. It can open a folder of photos and view them full-screen but marking them makes it immediately crash. This is completely updated Bridge 2019 and I've restarted my computer a few times. What makes it more baffling is that Bridge 2018 is working perfectly with no problems at all. O talked to an Adobe person for two hours yesterday and it still is not working.
Hello community, i have got serious problem about Adobe Bridge ower the years. The performance of this app while loading files from some folder i am browsing in is really terrible. Can someone help me with that? I have got 1500 images in one folder i need to rename but i really cannot. The Bridge simply stops responding!
In short: all other things equal, would the lower latency of SFP+ (fiber) vs 10GBASE-T (CAT6a) be noticeable when loading thousands of photos into Bridge? Now the longer explanation: I have the option soon to upgrade my networking equipment and NAS, and happy to spend some $ to make things as *snappy* as possible, especially with loading/importing media for the first time. Right now i have a decent 10gbe setup over CAT6a direct to my QNAP -- and it's good -- but not quite as quick to load media (RAW photos usually) as from a locally connected SSD. I'd love to narrow that performance gap if possible. Wondering if there might be a improvement with Bridge performance by switching to SFP+. On paper, it appears the biggest practical difference is that SFP+ has better latency, so with loading thousands of images, i figure it might actually be noticeable. There are two concurrent users on our current NAS. And for what it's worth, when i load photos they are usually from a section
Why does Bridge continue to associate with OLD versions of Adobe apps? All Photoshop associations are 2018. Even when it's not installed! And Illustrator is 2018 too. When I reset all associations to default it remains the same. And when I try and change associations the current programs are not available in the dropdown, even though sometimes older versions are! The only way is to navigate to the specific app in Explorer! This is ridiculous!

Bridge is no longer showing info/details on thumbnail images when images have been opened and changes applied with Camera RAW... this was always there, and no longer is... is there a way to turn this feature back ON in Bridge that I am not seeing?
The plan includes PS and Lightroom. Does that include Bridge?
HelloWhen I select all and do a batch rename as I have always done one file is missnamed to a different date one day later than all the others. This in new...Help please.John
Hi allIs it possible to export photos from Adobe Bridge onto your hard drive, I can't find any options in the programme. Thanks in advanceJohn
I just did a Rollback to Bridge 2018.Frankly, the consequences of a rollback can't be any worse than using Bridge 2019. I have experienced constant delays starting the application on my current (competent) Windows 10 machine, "ET Phone Home" or (something else), is going on. I have no cloud files, no network shared folders, & have cleared nearly all options that can be disabled. And the crashes, I crash at least once per session though admittedly in some cases if you wait out the (Not Responding) notice in the title bar it, more than not, eventually recover. Left to guess I would say the newer options to interface more deeply with Windows File Explorer may be one of the culprits. This keeps happening Adobe. While pushing the envelopes to be the first to send your applications to the moon or do full blown publishing on a smartphone, you're making it more and more difficult for those of us on desktops who have been using and supporting you for decades. What's my question? Why do
Does anyone have the same problem? It is the latest version of Bridge and Mojave. Bridge rotate my raws but not the jpg. If I open on Lightroom or Photoshop is rotate. Please help. sorry for mu english I am writing from Spain, carmen

Bridge CC 2018 (8.0.1.282) on Mac OS 10.14.4 supports animated gifs, but the current Bridge CC 9.0.3.279 on Mac OS 10.12.6 does not. It displays only the first image of the gif at a reduced size. Is this normal? Is there any hidden settings I missed to make it work?
Hello there, since i think Bridge 2019 there is a dark frame around every picture and item in the lighttable view. Is there any chance to get rid of this. I found it very disruptive when comparing pictures side by side. This was not in the previous versions. Thanks a lot
Hello! The html panels are working good until I pressed the space key(full screen). After that the extensions stop working. I have a custom panel I changed the type of extension in manifest file to <Type>Embedded</Type> . If I changed the type to Modeless it works perfectly.I tried with other computers and the issue remains the same.
I like using the find function but I will never use about 90% of the items listed in the criteria drop down window. Is there a way to remove the one's I will never use?
I know this was answered a while ago, but the solutions offered do not work.. I tried to open bridge from Creative cloud and reinstalling bridge. However after saving a photo from camera raw, bridge does not respond. I'll close it and then photoshop cc does not respond. I have Windows 10 home addition and photoshop cc 20.0.4 and Bridge cc 9.0.3 Thank you.{Thread renamed by moderator}
Hello, I've been looking for an answer to this and can't find anything. So, when I'm viewing thumbnails in Bridge (PSD and JPG files mostly), they have this prominent yellow tint to them. When I open them up in Photoshop, the colors are fine. I've been messing around with the color settings in Bridge and nothing changes when I reopen the application. But, when I change the colors to Monitor Settings, the colors are correct for a split second when I load the application, then the yellow tint reappears. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?Thank you!J
How do I get rid of Sketchbook in Bridge? This just recently showed up and is saving my files as Sketchbook Files. I never downloaded it and don't want it. Appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks, Joyce

Does anyone use Bridge to import photo's from camera to computer? Lately it has been giving me grieve. Every time I try to import photos it stops after a few and I get a message on my screen saying Bridge is unable to import photo's and to check the camera connection to the computer and whether the camera had enough battery power. But these things are fine, that's not the problem. I recently updated to the latest version.Does anyone recognize this and have any tips how to fix this?
When I drag palettes in Bridge to dock somewhere else the UI trembles and I get these stippled borders that goes both behind the application edges and inside them. When I open folders the sub folders and the content open very slow. Like it's a web only application with capacity issues. Bridge also keeps shutting down on me and I find it unstable to run in general. It's sluggish and responds slow. When I use any other file browser like Acdsee or IrfanView they appear so much faster and renders the UI with no problems at all. I'm on a brand new Windows 10 work station with Intel i9-9900K CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. All drivers are up to date. OS is up to date. All CC apps are up to date. I've always had issues with Bridge no matter what machine or configuration I'm on. I've had numerous Windows machines and there's always something going on with bridge in terms of stability issues and UI errors like this and similar. What's going on with this program?! Should Adobe just ditch the wh
I have a photograph that shows up in Bridge as rejected. I have tried to change the label but nothing happens. I have no idea how this got turned on. Does anyone know how I can reverse this?
