I needed to update from Photoshop CS6 to CC so I could view my Nikon Z7 files. So now I find that my metadata extractor doesn't work with the CC Photoshop, only CS6.  A forum member was kind enough to create that for me, so that my categories such as species, subject, headline, date, location, city, state, country, etc could be extracted into a text file that I could then be imported into MSWorks database, modified and refined to then import into my MSAccess database, where I keep all the info from all my images.  This saved me from re-eintering all the image data of thousands of images, in all these fields by hand.  This is why I hate forced updates that ruin my smoothly working workflow.

When I look the photograph at preview mode, jpeg format has low resolution than raw format. I am checking this in PS , there is no resolution problem. I see this problem at the preview mode and only jpeg format  in Bridge. Please help me

To be blunt, this update has completely ruined my work flow and absolute trash. I used to import my photos to whatever location using windows, then I would open the folder using bridge. edit the first shot when it opened into raw hit done. Then I would chimp through my collection of photos and use CTRL-V to paste my settings onto each picture I liked. That feature no longer works so I downgraded to an older build of Bridge which fixed that problem, but now when I complete the sets edits, I should be able to go to "tools" and process my edits with the saved watermark action that was in the photoshop dropdown. Sorry if that isn't exact as I just have so much muscle memory with my routine I don't pay attention to what it says.Now I'm behind coming up on 3 days cause every time I sit down to edit with the short amount of time I have I find something else that is missing or doesn't work. I pay 50$ a month for this subscription and now it's junk to me.Sincerely,Frustrated and angry

Bridge CC 2019 keeps freezing and being completely unresponsive after moving files from folder to folder. Simple organizing of no more the 20-30 photographs. It always happens when I move all the files and the folder is empty. I can't even quit the program I must Force to Quit all the time. Annoying!I am waiting for Adobe to fix this and I don't think they have any solution for this so far I am trying to restore the previous session at least for now to survive couple of days but dont know how.

Hi, Can someone explain  in Adobe Bridge CC 2019 in the Preferences / tab Miniaturen (Sorry, I have Dutch version).Could it be tab Output in English version... ? the option : "Liever miniaturen genereren dan voorvertoningen genereren" Free translation in English : "Generate rather miniatures, then previews" 😉 ?What's the difference in Bridge between a miniature and a preview, plse ? For some time I have used bridge to delete photos. I find it an easy interface to view the photos and then select single or multiple photos and drag to recycle bin. This has always deleted the files from the computer without problem.Over the past couple of days the deleted files have stayed in the folder in finder and show as hidden files in Bridge. When I go to the view menu and click hidden files I am unable to see the image but bridge shows a file name with .icloud at the end. I‘m unsure if iCloud is trying to replace everything I delete but the folder is still full of jpeg files that appear to be the originals. The anomaly appears to be that in finder there are original jpegs but in Bridge there are the ones I want to keep and then there are a load of others with the .icloud extension. Running mac with Mojave and latest Bridge update.

Using Adobe Bridge CC v9.0.1 Trying to sync all with G7 GRACol 2006.csf. Photoshop will sync but Illus. InDesign will not. Bridge uses the csf. file from: Hard Drive/Libraries/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/Color/Settings.  Bridge doesn't retain the csf setting either. There is another place that I've found the csf: Users/MyMac/Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/Color/Settings.  How do I get this straightened out.  Help!

hello  I recently purchased a Nikon z7, I also have a Nikon d800.  I can connect my d800 to my computer and it transfers photos to bridge. The z7 transfers the files also but they appear in bridge as files and not as photos and when I try and open files a window pops up saying I need adobe update. when I open that window it states z7 has already been updated. I purchased cs6 maybe five years ago  I do not have an active adobe account now

Since Apple finder is always broken and stops giving previews on psd files after a while, I thought I could use Bridge to preview my files on dropbox. The point is, I don't want to locally sync everything, but have a preview from the cloud then download just what I need. Every time I select a psd file on Bridge, however, the file is actually downloaded in background, then the preview is made.Is there any way I can make this work?

Recently, since the 2019 update, I have noticed that my Bridge import is adding my old copyright template even though Bridge shows the new one when I open it in edit template.This is what happened to me,I moved house so I updated my copyright template and all is well.Adobe Bridge 2019 version comes out so I upgrade.I go out shooting and import my images using 'Get Photo's From' import tool.I notice that the imported photos which get my template applied contain my old data for all images imported right back to the date of the upgrade.I run a test and find that it happens again even if I apply the basic template.I contact Adobe Tech Support and 2.5 hrs later after many tests and screenshots, nothing is any different except I have re-installed several times.I close my support and try to rectify myself as Adobe tech has no clue....I am currently trying to remedy this myself and will update this post if I manage to fix it.So, since I posted this message, I've uninstalled Bridge 2019 (and al

9.0.1 for Mac has increased the line spacing in the directory. As a result, I cannot see as many lines as I used to. This slows down my work flow, which I find very annoying. Is there any way I can tighten up the line spacing, or revert to what it used to be?

Image processor in Bridge / tool drop down is missing.I can't convert photos easily after upgrading from 2018 CC to 2019 CC .Can't find any answers.Any help or link to fix would be very helpful.Mike

When I set Bridge ver8.1 to "start at login", "get photos from camera" doesn't work. It does nothing. I have to close and restart Bridge to make it work. Or turn off "start at login", run Bridge after boot, where it occasionally locks up for a while, and then "get photos". Resetting preferences and clearing cache does not fix. Just installed Bridge v9.0.1 hoping the bugs would be fixed. Two issues here:1. View > Show Thumbnails Only functionality is reversed between the two versions.2. The text in version 9.0.1 is larger and doesn't wrap to a second line like it does in v8.1I'm using filmstrip workspace. I installed and transferred all photos and videos into Bridge CC 2019. Should I delete all preferences from Bridge CC 2018?

In Bridge, I search for a folder and click enter and Abode stock launches on the browser. Did it 3x to make sure really happening. Oddest thing ever seen in a software.I'm not complaining, just need help, can't search anymore in Bridge.

Hello,I can't find native Windows image viewer in file associations to open jpgs/pngs. When I try to associate it in Bridge preferences I cannot find that program in any folder of my computer. It looks like this aplication is hidden.Can anyone help me with this, please?Best

When I click on the file and do "Clear settings", it will open the Camera Raw. Any help, please!

I called the help number and it says to press 9 for all other products, then it says help is not available and HANGS UP.Chat is always always closed.The issue and information I need to work with require interacting with a speaking human being, not robots.

Da ich teilweise raw und jpg Dateien auf einer Speicherkarte habe, ist die frage ob es eine Möglichkeit im photo-downloader der Bridge cc gibt nur ein Dateiformat auszuwählen und auf den Rechner zu übertragen ?Vielen Dank vorab !Grüße, Boris
