Thumbnails & previews are not displaying at all or show up as blank grey boxes that flicker. If I leave the window and come back to it sometimes the images return, but usually I have to quit and restart. Happens to any files, all sizes, and seems to be random – some thumbnails are fine one time and don't show up the next. I'm using Bridge CC (8.0.1.282) on a Mac Pro, running OS 10.13.5.

Bridge CC v8Is there a way, in thumbnails showing several photos at a time, for a highlighted photo to remain in the center of the window rather than shifting to the rightmost photo. It would be a big help when editing 2400+ photos for a single gallery.

HiWe add a dc:creator value to all images with a Bridge template.  I can see it in the RAW metadata for each image.( Mac, Bridge CC 2018 )If I want to find all the images with dc:creator = "lee"  in the "Scenic" folder,  shouldn't this Find... do the trick?It doesn't return anything!  Nudge please?Thanks in advance

I was sorting files in Bridge, and it went into a “building criteria” mode, and has been stuck there for over an hour.  I can't access files for yesterday’s shoot.  There does not seem to be any way out of this.I have search the Internet, and the best I can find is the comment that this is a common problem.  But no one seems to have found a solution, or even a preventative.What is “building criteria,” and why does this state freeze all work?

Bridge CC is a perpetual license. I have CS6, but Bridge CC won't open Camera Raw since CS6 is not a qualifying product. If I install CS CC, then Bridge CC will be able to open Camera Raw. My Canon 80D .cr2 is not compatible with CS6 but would be with CS CC.I tell Bridge CC to open a .cr2 image in Photoshop CC which will open it in Camera Raw CC. I make some edits and click Done. That attaches a .xmp file to the image. As long as I have Photoshop CC I can reopen the image in Camera Raw.What happen down the road if I cancel the subscription? I no longer have access to Photoshop CC. If I tell Bridge CC to open the image in Camera Raw what happens? Since Bridge CC has opened Camera Raw with an eligible product will it continue to open my image with the current camera raw?If I Save As that Camera Raw CC image will I be able to open it in CS6?I am just a hobbyist. I wish Adobe would just allow me to buy the latest CR adding in CS6 to support a new camera so I do not have to mess with DNG.

In Bridg CS6 a changed one of the workspaces in a way that it did't show the filename, nor the meta information.This in contrast of the other worspaces. They still show meta data and filenameThat worked great. Just showing pictures, not influenced by meta data or labels.But I do not know how I did that. Now I use Bridg CC.Now way that I can reproduce that.Who can help?

Heyo.  I'm a new Bridge user and a pic junkie hoping to make some rapid progress organizing my vast collection.It's going to be slower going on my phone pics, but I think I can make some rapid progress on pics from friends and family from FB, which have file names incorporating their user names (looking something like AName_A134103314etc . . .).  I would like to group these pics by the person that took the pic and subdivide each person's picks by *approximate* year (doesn't need to be perfect).  Further, I want to change the file name to sequential numbers within each year.So here's what I'm doing so far.  I've gathered all my pics into one folder: ALLPICS.  Then I sort in Explorer to arrange by alpha filename.  Then in Bridge, I open ALLPICS.  I scroll to the files with the usernames.  Highlight AName_A's pics for a given year (say 2016).  Right click>Batch Rename>Move to other folder (ALLPICS/ANameA/2016);  New filename, sequenc

I can not see the thumbnails of the videos or play them in the preview window of Bridge CC2018 and yes in Bridge CS6 on an iMac (Capitan and Sierra).

I've used Lightroom CC for years, but just started using Bridge. How can I sync the keywords that I've created in Lightroom so that they show up in Bridge? In other words, I want to be able to search in Bridge for the keywords that I've added in Lightroom?

I've been searching around for days and can't seem to find what I'm looking for.I work at a college and I film all sorts of events and other projects throughout the year. I also produce a variety of interview-based projects and I use the aforementioned footage for b-roll. I have footage stored across a couple different drives and in a variety of subfolders. However, I can't seem to find a good way to search through these clips short of manually scrolling through each project and folder individually. I spent about 5 hours working on post-processing a bunch of images yesterday. I had been working from Bridge CC 2018, and then taking them into Camera Raw, and finally into Photoshop CC 2018 for some touchups. Today I attempted to sign in to Bridge and it wouldn't boot up. I shut down my computer and restarted it. When Restarted, it automatically opened up Bridge as the first thing it did. I noticed that there were no previews of my raw files, and when I double clicked on them, a window opened up saying that I needed to boot up Photoshop first. That's when I realized I was looking at my old Bridge CS5.5 version. I tried to uninstall it as I did a few days ago, but I can't find it in the Control Panel. How do you uninstall something you can't see?

Hi, I'm having an issue with Bridge CC. When I open preferences, the preferences menu extends above and below the screen. I cant scroll and I cant access the items at the top or bottom of the menu. So, I am unable to set preferences. I am using a Dell XPS 13. Appreciate your help. Can I send a photo?

Updated to the latest version of Bridge for management and I use Adobe Camera Raw for editing purposes. Every third file opened causes ACR to crash with the only solution being a restart. Is there an easy fix for this?Running Windows 10Thanks.

Hi there,The MetaData DIY Script that many mention on this forum has been very useful for me. I use it to add MetaData to images that are then read by the Live Caption function in Indesign to create automatic product image descriptions in our catalogues. It's saving a lot of time! This season, I need to add data into the State/Province field, which isn't currently included in the check box list in the DIY MetaData window. I took a scripting course recently for another reason, so I took the liberty to try myself to add this field in. I can get it as far as showing up in the list and sorting list, but have had no luck getting the data to actually apply to the image. I'm sure it's a beginners mistake!I would be forever grateful to anyone who could offer me some help in sorting this out. Hi there - I'm looking for an batch enfuse script for Bridge.  So far I have found a single script built to invoke enfuse in Bridge (CS3) which could be a good starting point, but I have no experience with scripting and would appreciate any help anyone can give to point me in the right direction.  Here's the script: http://dimview.org/phototips/BridgeEnfuse.jsx‌   There's also a script I found for bringing stacks into Photoshop that I might be able to combine with the enfuse script? - Would like to automate open stacks as layers + run action. Having an issue where I'm trying to see aspect ratio and color space for images I have in bridge but even though I have these checked off as "on" in the dropdown they aren't showing in the filter panel. Any idea on why this is happening? Attached a screenshot

I tag pictures as part of my job. So my hierarchy has to change frequently as new pictures are added to the server and I have to incorporate them into the archive or just if I learn something that makes the system work better. For example I recently learned that words cannot be searched separately. What I mean is, I had a tag 'pool table' that, when searched brought up: pools, tables, and pool tables (billiard tables).Understandably this was a bit of a hassle to someone that is only searching for a specific item or person so, the solution is to combine the words together with an underscore. But that meant I had to rename and delete every, single, keyword I had made until that point. And then re-tag every picture under the new tags. It's been a long process. So what I was wondering is why doesn't bridge recognize that the tag has been changed or 'renamed'. And thus change the existing tags to the new version? Instead of creating an entirely duplicated version with the updated text?Is th

Hello,Up until recently, I would open Bridge from InDesign CS6 in order to use the mini bridge panel.  Now I open Bridge, and when I try to get mini bridge from the Window menu, nothing happens, no error message, no mini bridge, nothing - it is as if I clicked on nothing.  Is there an option somewhere that got disabled?  How do I get mini bridge back?  Thank you for any feedback on this.

I've just started using Bridge and trying to get to grips with Keywords and Filters. Most of my photos were tagged using Windows Photo Gallery using their hierarchy system TOPLEVEL/SUB LEVEL/SUB LEVEL and so on for one or many sub levels ie the top level PEOPLE could have sub levels of FAMILY, FRIEND, WORKMATES, etc. Family could have further sub levels of SURNAME 1, SURNAME2, SURNAME2 etc. with each having another sub level of the name of the family. This is the same principle as Bridge Keywords. The full tag was the complete tree structure with each section of the tree delimited by a /. When I view these photos in Bridge using both FILTERS and KEYWORDS the hierarchy system is lost so every person has their own sub keyword under the keyword of [other keywords] or filter in alphabetical order. This means to display all my family members I have to select some 50plus keywords rather than a single sub keyword of family. I have seach this issue and it seems I'm not the only person unhappy

Is there an option to make the keywords exclusive rather than inclusive? For example if I were to choose keywords "Alaska" and "Animals" I would get every photo I took in Alaska and every photo containing an animal when in reality I only want animal photos I took in Alaska.
