Bridge does not generate thumbnails for all .JP2 files. On these files, it also omits the dimension and color profile information. Files test compliant to the spec and generate thumbnails in other applications. Photoshop has the same issue when viewing thumbnails of the image, but on re-saving the JP2 file, thumbnails generate successfully.

What in the hell is going on. My last two photoshoots have been problematic... Photos being labeled as wrong format or corrupt or damaged, and on top of this, the rating system in Bridge no longer works. Absolutely fantastic. Already tried to diagnose both, no fixes worked. The files are not damaged. I've purged the cache, reset the settings, nothing. what in the hell.
I started a lengthy content search (among 16,000 photos) for 'All Metadata contains "25" in "Photo Archive" and all subfolders'. When I realized the search was too broad, I tried repeatedly hitting the "Stop Search" button but I was unable to stop the search. I just get the rainbow cursor going around and around. I eventually had to force quit Bridge.
Often when applying a preset metadata template or nearly always when individually selecting a series of images in Bridge to apply captions, descriptions, locations, keywords, etc. Bridge now tries to generate new thumbnails as soon as I start typing in a field (or pasting into a field) and will not allow me to embed or add new information into any fields if I have a larger number of raw-format files in a folder. For example, I'll have a set of 500+ DNG format photos from an event and after waiting for Bridge to generate the thumbnails, I'll apply my standard photo credit template. At least half the time, after waiting for Bridge to "write" the data to the file, my templated metadata information will not actually appear in my files. It usually requires several attempts (and watching Bridge tell me it's "writing" to the files each time) before the metadata finally shows up in the fields. Then I'll batch-select, for example, 15 images of a particular speaker at the event and select a f
Starting with Bridge 2023, using the tab key to move to the next metadata field down no longer works properly. Instead of moving down to the next field, pressing the tab key will randomly move UP to the previous field instead. This is happening on several computers with different user accounts, so I know it's not machine specific or user error.
The crop tool always constrains to image, even when the checkbox is unchecked. What is the point of the checkbox?
这个问题出现在某一次Br更新之后,具体是哪个版本开始的目前已经不知道了自从这个版本之后,现在每次使用Br导出相机照片都会发现这个现象,但最后导出结果的照片是没有问题的,不知道是什么地方出了问题

My idea is to make shortcuts for star rating filter work again.Previously Ctrl + Alt + 1/2/3/4/5 was working fine on Windows 10 ; it has stopped working. Adobe Tutorial recommands Ctrl + Maj + Alt 1/2/3/4/5 which doesn't work either (w/o talking about stupidity of adding + MAJ) Actually on Win11
For some reason, both the right-click on a file, and the menu option to delete files is using BIN rather than TRASH. Did you guys screw up the English US vs. UK localization?13.0.3.693, Mac M1
I was hoping that Bridge 2023 may address some of the stability issues present in the previous version but sadly not... it still crashes as frequently. It has, unfortunately gone backwards in a couple of respects...- The new shortcut to create a new content window (or tab, as it's now called) is awkward... cmd-n is more intuitive and easier.- What's worse though, is the there doesn't appear to be any keyboard shortcut to close content tabs... a trip to the top of the panel with the cursor is required. Very bad UX in my view.- Right clicking a folder in Bridge and selecting "Reveal in Finder" doesn't so much revel the folder but opens it, requiring you to then go back to the containing folder to actually select the folder (to move or copy it elsewhere, for example). Again, poor UX execution. These gripes are in addition to those I have seen in other poster's comments.
Hi,If I am working with multiple folders, if I set a filter in one folder, then switch to another folder and set filters there, when I retrun to the first folder the filter settings are reset.Regards,Steve
Bridge keeps crashing when using the import from camera feature (configured to auto-launch). No messages just poof, closed. Sometimes it happens just after I have completed the import.
When Bridge is on my main display and I move the preview panel to my 2nd display the image is cropped on the bottom and right. The file name and part of the image are not visible. If I move the panel back to the main display it immediately fixes itself. If Bridge is on the 2nd display everything is fine, preview is correct on either display. If, when cropped, I make the preview window ridiculously small, or tall, or narrow it shows the whole image. Bridge 13.03.693Windows 10 up to date
CRITICAL BUG - The Save As dialog closes if the arrow keys are used to move left and right through the characters in a filename. It's not a crash, the dialog box instantly closes. Very frustrating.Ventura 13.4Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.693
I apply Camera Raw settings to a large number of images for Timelapse. When I select all the images and start the Export job, the GPU stays unused in Activity Monitor on Mac OS X Ventura Apple M2 Pro 32GB.
I hope this message finds you well. I have a question regarding the column order in Adobe Bridge. Is there a way to save the order of the columns in a new tab so that they appear as I prefer, rather than using the default settings?Currently, when I rearrange the columns and save them as a new "workspace," the changes are not reflected when I open a new tab. The columns revert back to their original order, along with the default column width. I was wondering if there is a way to permanently change the column order in Adobe Bridge. Specifically, I would like the "labels" and "ratings" columns to be displayed as the first columns, as they are crucial for organizing my work efficiently. To illustrate my concern, I have attached two screenshots for your reference. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you very much in advance for your support!
When a process a CR2 file with photoshop and save the psd file, sometimes it does not appear (setting the filter to psd file only does not resolve)
As the title suggestsI have hundreds of images in my collection and it takes a lot of time to reload them each time to see them, which is a very bad experience!
When I click on the location history menu (recent files), and select a certain folder, it opens the folder but also opens a certain unrelated file. (This file is a file I've worked on before, but not at all related to the folder I clicked on).And when I choose a different location, it opens a different file.Really weird and wrong.
I have tested this in 13.0.3.693 and it is still a problem.Windows 10, latest update.I expect when selecting another new folder that the file displayed is the last one selected in that folder, or if none, then to top of folder.
The dialog warning about moving multiple locked files has the wrong title. It says "Item already exists".
I am running Bridge 13.0.3.693 and I have roughly ~43k of photos and MP4's files in a folder. The files are broken into years and then months and span approximately 20 years. These files are stored on Network drive. Some folders have 10 files while other folders may have 500 files. The performance of Bridge when starting up is ok at first (not great) but after 15 minutes the performance really starts to drop. As time goes on performance continues to degrade to the point where the User Interface is nearly unresponsive. Even the Windows Task Manager flags the process as red and unresponsive. If I continue to let bridge run in the background or overnight the app is effectively useless the next day and must be restarted. I have cleared the cache a few times to see if this was an issue. I have also moved the cache to different local hard drives and SSD's to see if that is an issue. Nothing changes. The longer Bridge runs the more unresponsive it becomes. Closing Bridge and waiting
