Is there anyway to turn off the default or whatever it is that auto selects the track that my cursor just happens to be on when selecting a time selection? The problem is that a lot of times, I'm selecting several tracks together for time selectio, however, I'm still focusing on the originally selected tracks plugins. Whenever I click above or below it to click and drag the multiple track selection, Audition automatically changes my specific track selection to the one I'm dragging through. Then, because I move really fast, I start editing the plugins on the wrong track without realizing.
Hello, Since the last update (23.5) my trackpad on my Macbook has been lagging when using audition. Usually actions such as the pinch zoom and scrolling left to right work seamlessly, but now there is a lag. Movements will be stuttery which makes editing at speed difficult. My trackpad is working perfectly elsewhere on other applications. Has anybody else encountered this issue? I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.2 on a Macbook Pro M2 (14" Display, 16gb Ram, 500gb SSD)
since the last update, it refuses to export mp3 to the "Imported files" folder (shows an error) and the mouse wheel speed has slowed down in the "Media Browser" window. (both very annoying)
I just received an error message, "Invalid Image File. HRESULT:_2003292336 PLEASE HELP!! Lou

Hello, in 23.3 when I press M or F8 in a wav file it puts the marker and then is automaticly zooms out. Anyone else having this problem?
I don't know why this is happening, but I'm trying to remove all parts of a clip except for the talking using the diagnostic panel and the "remove silence" option. I kept moving my thresholds down to have Audition stop trying to tell me talking was silence, I had it at -57 db, above would be audio at 25ms, and below at 200ms would be silence. I don't know if these parameters are messing with it, but even audio that is -30 to -20 for multiple seconds is still considered silence. This seems like a major issue for what is an extreme time-saving feature. I just updated to the newest version last night and I am still having the same issues. I am also using a .wav file if that changes anything.
I recently updated to 23.5 on my Windows 10 machine. When using the Essential Sound panel to do automatic ducking on a 5-minute on hold program, my computer slowed to a crawl. I checked the task manager and Audition was using over 20 GB of RAM. Anyone else experiencing this on the latest version?
Bonsoir, Je n'ai aucun choix possible dns la liste "Modèle" lors de la création d'un fichier multipistes pour créer un podcast.Une solution ?Merci
Video playback on multitrack is broken on the 23.3 version. The video preview is extremely laggy.Reverted back to version 23.2 and works as intended again. This is happening only on my Windows 11 machine 22H2 (22621.1555). On my Macbook there's no problem.
Hi all, My copy of Audition has been acting strangely for the past month or so, and I was hoping the new update (23.5) would fix it, but unfortunately it hasn't. I'm running Mac OS Ventura 13.2 on Apple M2 Pro, Audition vers. 23.5 I've attached a video that'll hopefully help explain the issue. It's not huge but it's inconvenient. Basically, every time I open a file, no matter whether I've made any changes, Audition will always prompt me to 'save all changes'. This happens whether it's a multitrack session or an audio file. It seems to be caught in an endless loop where as long as a file has been opened, Audition thinks changes need to be saved. Similarly when I have a large group of files open, hitting 'close all' or 'close session and its media' no longer has any effect. Audition will simply ask me whether I want to save changes, it'll go through the motions of saving, and then won't close anything. Please let me know if this
Bonjour.
My Audition auto-updated to 23.5. I was no longer able to export a mixdown to any of my three drives. I kept getting the notice that the drives were full or no longer avaialable. After I reinstalled 23.3, all is working as it should.
Am using latest auditionr Previously when am on bigsur there is no problem on lagging but now when I updated to Ventura Audition ui lags very much every other application like logic pro x and premiere pro all working fine but this audition lags very much
Hello, After changing the effects and presets to an audio file, Adobe Audition (2023) crashes and a bug error comes up: /Users/nicoletriscari/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/23.0/82a8c386-b9f7-454e-ab78-ac0b87d2d155/~Fear of the Lord_AutoSaved.sesxWarning: 3 of the 3 clips have no file asset: MJ and Nicole, Intro_1, 48K_515294734. This has happened 3 times within the last day. Can someone please help? I am on a Macbook Pro. Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 In addition, I have lost the original .sesx file, and the updated version - once I log back in - will not let me review history and go back to previous edits. Thank you, Nicole
The last few days I've been trying to use my Adobe Audition software to record audio with my Blue Yeti. I've had the same set up for over a year and it has worked beautifully. However, all of a sudden when I go to record in Audition, my time marker jerks along and there is no audio captured (no audio waves in the software appear). When I hit play to listen to the playback it's a second long clip of no noise. I replaced the cords for my Yeti, I updated my Adobe Audition, and I tried switching to my built in microphone, but I still get the same results. I changed my laptops battery/power settings thinking "well maybe it's in power save mode or quiet mode and that's causing some sort of processing issue" (though neither have been a problem in the past) but changing those settings also didn't fix the problem. I'm tempted to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Audition, but I have pretty slow internet so I'm hoping to keep that as a last resort. If anybody has any recommendations I'd really appre
Until a week ago we used Adobe Audition 2022 in conjunction with iZotope RX 10.4 and everything worked normally. I selected the entire audio or just a part of it and sent it to the RX10 through the "RX Connect" plugin. This week we updated Audition to version 2023 and so RX Connect doesn't work anymore. When selecting the RX Connect plugin, its window opens normally, but when you click on "repair" it starts sending the audio to the RX and then the following error message appears: "Unable to launch the RX Standalone application at path C:\Program Files\RX 10 Audio Editor\win32\iZotope RX 10 Audio Editor.exe. Please reinstall RX to ensure the application exists. Error Code: 2" I already tried to reinstall iZotope RX 10.4, I already tried to reinstall Audition 2023 and I already tried to reinstall Audition 2022 version, but the problem remains. I don't know what else to do. I don't understand why RX Connect looks for the 32-bit executable of RX10 if only the 64-bit version is in
This has been happening for a few weeks. Select a portion of the file and press M to create a cue marker.Waveform panel scrolls back to the very start of the file but playhead position does NOT change. This is super annoying!
I'm working on a 2 hour long film and the editor made a picture lock and I've been trying to do dynamic link in sections of 10 mins and the first 3 sections went well. The fourth not so much. Everytime i try to dynamic link sequence from the selected in and out points audtion has the right audio but the video is off by several scenes. Scenes from the previous sections, like the movie and audio shifted somehow? I hear the right audio that was selected but the video is completly different. I know the editor added some stuff after the fact of it being pictured locked but should that matter if I'm making a new dynamic link session with the current edits? I'm using the the most up to date version of both Premier and Audition and we work on the same computer. I don't understand why i see one thing in Premier and something else in audtion. Please help.
Hi there, Whenever I use option + scroll wheel to adjust the height of the tracks, the editor window jumps to the very top track as I adjust. This is challenging because it causes me to lose my place, and each time I have to scroll back down through 20+ tracks to get to where I was working. Running 23.3.0.55 on macOS 13.4
Hi, Unsure if anyone else has expereinced this, but I'm mixing two tracks in a Multi Track and everytime I save, close AA and reopen, my two tracks have slipped by a few milliseconds. Anyone expereincing similar/ has a fix? Thanks!
It seems like my recordings are clipping for some reason. I switched from mac to Windows and I'm very confused why this is happening. Can someone help me out? Here's a video so it's more clear.
I recently upgraded to a Mac Studio (M1 Max, 64 GB memory, 2TB SSD, Ventura 13.4) . So far, Audition is behaving nicely (it didn't get along so well with my old Intel-based iMac Pro: lots of hangs and crashes, often resulting in the loss of edits or entire files)—with one exception (so far): I routinely use the Stereo Expander tool to make the low end frequencies mono (I'm recording performances with effects, so I like to get the low end under control). I tend to work with long files that I then edit down to more reasonable lengths; previously, using Stereo Expander on the low end might take three or four minutes. Now it is taking about an hour—NOT exaggerating. At first, I thought it might be one of those instances where the time remaining shows a large value at first, then shrinks considerably as it catches up—but no, that's how long it's taking. Trying the latest beta version of Audition has not helped, neither has changing the location of the cache folders to the int
This is a weird one!Seemingly at random, whenever I attempt to playback audio, or record new audio (I'm a narrator) - Audition behaves... strangely. In either circumstance, the playhead doesn't move, no audio is played back (or recorded) - and the problem can only be resolved by restarting audition. Any tips to fix this?
