Can't Rename Individual Files in Bridge - Invalid Type Conversion error

"Invalid Type Conversion" It says I cannot rename a file "because a jpg of that name already exists. "

Attempted Solutions that failed:

  1. A reset of preferences did not work

  2. I also went into the program Bridge exe file and gave myself administrator permissions

  3. downloaded a fresh copy of Bridge

I've never had any problems renaming a file in previous versions of Bridge.
