If I save a new PSD to a folder containing (for example) more than 100 other PSDs, Bridge freezes indefinitely, the spinning wheel of death laughing at me as the machine crawls to a molasses speed. When are you going to fix this? Bridge is a mess of performance blockages and freezes. Aren't you even the slightest bit embarrassed?
If I download selected photos from my device (Xiaomi mobile phone or 2 different Sony cameras), once completed, I have to go through the 'get photos' procedure again where AB recaches the thumbnails. This really wastes a lot of time, especially if you have more than 500 photos on your device. To me, it's a bug. Surely if it's cached all the thumbnails once, you should be able to select photos for download, and once downloaded to AB, select some more without AB having to recache and go through the whole procedure again. As I rename each group of photos and put them in different folders, I spend more time waiting for AB to read my device and display the thumbnails of photos than I do actually downloading them.
when clicking on or scrolling to an image, it disappears intermittently from the Preview panel. I then have to click on it again to make it visible.
Version 13.0.3.693Windows 11 Pro 22H2Explanation on what is wrong:No matter what I do, Bridge seems to generate lower quality thumbnails when it processes them. When bridge has a chance to cache a thumbnail, it will always cache an extremely low quality grainy thumbnail that is nearly unreadable. When I prevent it from caching them, they can look ok for a little bit, but inevitably (when I click on them or when it decides to generate thumnbails for a folder), it will cache and extremely bad looking thumbnail.I am attaching 2 example files, one of them is the thumbnail before it processes it, and the worse looking grainy one is after the file has been clicked on. This just cannot be how bridge is intended to process thumbnails, they look incredibly bad.Note: This is also happening in the preview window if it is set to certain settings and reduced to a lower viewport size. How I can reproduce it:I use the zoom hotkey on the folder window a few times and it will reload all of the thumbnail
I selected a certain amount in a batch of photos and did the horizontal FLIP (mirroring from right to left) and worked on it every which way, successfully, as long as it remained RAW + XMP. Then I exported a batch of these to JPG and all those with the flip came back flipped from the original side, while others, exported to TIF (but not all!) were instead ROTATED 90 degrees. This non-repeatable randomness of data, by the way, does not make series work reliable at all! I have to check everything when I have many files!
After selecting a folder in the Folders Panel, most but not all of the thumbnails display in the Content Panel. A complete display of all the thumbnails is only achieved if all files are selected and the Bridge cache for those selections is purged. Quite annoying!
Filter panel is intermittently blank. No trigger identified. Restart sometimes restores the panel, sometimes it doesn't.
app.createCollection("new collection");Prior to Bridge v13 (2023), this ExtendScript command would create a new collection and the Collections Panel would update to show the new collection. Now, the command creates a collection, but the Collections Panel does not update. The new collection only becomes visible after either toggling the Bridge UI to a different Workspace then back, or closing and re-opening the Collections Panel. Please restore the Collections Panel update so new collections are visible when they are created via script, or advise on an ExtendScript workaround to refresh the collections panel after creating a new collection in our script. Thank you!Tested in Bridge 13.0.3.693 on both macOS 12.6.3 and Windows 11
Bridge doesn't let you preview the photo right away.Sometimes it shows me the photos from the previous card as if they were the same photos from the next tab. I just see the same photos over and over again
Bridge 2023 continually causing high CPU utilisation, even when doing nothing.Bridge 2022 works perfectly fine with CPU utilisation almost zero after a few minutes.
Bridge 13.0.2 crashes on Mac Silicon (Mac Mini M2 Pro), or when run under Rosetta (Mac Mini M2 Pro). Bridge is unusable. Is this intentional?
I'm on the latest version of Bridge, and sometimes the Output Module 'Reset' button is greyed out even when there is content on the pages. Several times I've had to restart Bridge just to create be able to start making a new output PDF with new content... It happens sporadically, so unfortunately I don't have a screenshot to show.
The reset button does not remove previously selected images.
I am getting some files displayed twice in the Filmstrip view, which is followed by a crash. clicking on either of the displayed duplicate causes the screen to go funny, then restore. In the screenshot, the PSD is displayed twice.
Applying keywords / metadata can not keep up. Multiple lines not visible.
Photo downloader doesn't recognise Lexar XQD card or the Sony card reader. Card listed in Bridge/Folders. Mac Ventura 13.2. Bridge 13.0.2.636

Spent 4 hours with some technicien from Adobe who tried and did not succeed . Help!!! I need it to work. Thank you .
I need to close Bridge in order for this problem to stop. Rectangular boxes with file info showing up in other applications. (Image title, date created etc. Metadata generally, no way to close them other than close bridge entirely)I use windows 10
The data size of PDFs exported from Brige is large.Compared to PDFs exported with the previous version 2022, the data size of PDFs exported with the current version 2023 is very large. We have tried changing the resolution, reducing the image quality, and many other things, but the data size is very large no matter which conditions we use for exporting. The settings of the attached PDF are as follows.A4 size 2 page PDF30 JPEGs3 columns x 5 rowsResolution: 150ppiImage quality: 8Adobe Bridge 2023 Ver. 13.0.2.636Adobe Bridge 2022 Ver. 12.0.3.270macOS 11 big sur
