Incompréhensible de la part d'Adobe ce genre de bug qui perdure depuis trop longtemps. A QUOI SERT CETTE APP SI L'ON NE PEUT PAS S'EN SERVIR ????? 

Hey, y'all!  Happy New Year, Everytime I change the scenery for a character, the software completely breaks. This is the error message:Character Animator Handle value is not a number Error Code :(Container js;249) I would upload a puppet, but it happens with all of them.    I'm on the latest version of the software(20214?) 2018 Macbook pro2.3 Ghz quad Core i516 gigs of ram If I've left anything out just let me know. Brand new to posting on these forums so I aplolgize for blowing any of the protocols. Thanks in advnce.Will  

Hello. Every single time I am trying to record something I've got this error: handle value is not a number!Error code: (Container.js:249)How can I fix it?I use newest version of the app, I use macbook pro 2019 with intel.

Hi,when I quit my session on Character Animator, I alwas save my file.But when I want to open the file again, I cant open it anymore. I can see the file in the explorer but the file size is 0 kb. I get  this two error warning messages. Its sad because I alwas have to start from the beginning with my projekt.Can you tell me what I can do better not to loose all the work? Lots of greatings Simona

I just downloaded the program and I'm using it in the free mode, but when I try to start a project, a message appears and then nothing happens. Can someone help me

I created all the arms and imported them correctly, the arms have leader and draggable followed by follow only, and I have only shoulder and wrist tagged as I want the character to have bendy arms. They are all named the same. But I get only 2 positions and it jumps.

Hello, I'm trying to make a puppet walk by using body tracker, but the puppet legs wont move at all. The upper body works great though. I watched okay samurai videos tried everything he showed, but nothing worked.Also, I had to uninstall and install adobe character 4 times. Every time I loggin, I get a message that my internet is offline. I have a strong internet, not sure why I keep getting this message. The software closes after it shows a message that It can't verify my subscription status. I'm using a free trial. I want to buy the subscription, but I couldn't test it.When I sign in I get a message that I'm signed out even after I enter my email and password, then when I click on signin, it opens.Free trial for 7 days is not enought to learn how to use adobe character. There is a lot to learn for beginners like me.I'm leaving  a feedbeck in hopes that adobe character will improve. I would definetelly purchase if I was able to test it out. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't. 

Cant seem to fix it, what did work for 1 day was uninstalling everything including the creative app. but the following day when i opened up character animator these messages keep popping up. cant do nothing to the puppet even on rig mode. the layers wont be shown. see pictures.been using character animator for years. never had this problem.  

character animator is not updating after getting the free trial, All other applications worked but this one not yet. Any advice?

Hi, the controls of the marionettes doesnt work (left side of the program Adobe Character Animator 2024).Camera works.

I'm out of ideas for what's causing this. My mp4 and mov renders are distinctly washed out from the original puppets and art assets. Single frame exports and PNG sequences are color accurate, but I need to use mp4 and movs for work. I brought the frames into After Effects and Photoshop to confirm the problem wasn't with QuickTime or Media Player. I tried going back from Ch 24.0 to 23.6 with the matching Media Encoder versions. Still looking washed out. I've tried rendering on 3 different pcs, including a new higher end one, and the problem is still there.I've been working with Character for a couple years and I've never seen this before. I have old renders that look correct but new renders of the same scene come out wrong. As far as I can remember, I didn't chanage any settings, but maybe I did without realizing. I can use png sequences or do color correcting in After Effects, but that really only works as a temporary solution. I can't open a new project in Adobe Character Animator and I can't import the character I created in Adobe Illustrator.

I am using Photoshop 2024 and Character Animator 2024. I am not able to open PSD in Character Animator 2024, I customized the puppet in Photoshop 2024 version. It is annoying. 

I cannot move on to the 2nd scene while animating. For example, in the 1st scene, the character needs to run, I record him running, and in the 2nd scene, he needs to walk slowly. I select the walking option from the settings. This time, the scene we recorded before starts walking slowly, how can I solve this?

Hi! I've made changes to gestures of a character in the timeline but when I export the file I still get the original gestures that I started with and exported? I've kept the same file name but deleted the old one before exporting to be extra sure I'm not opening the same file. Thanks!

Hello,I have a serious issue with character simulator.I've been using this software without issues for two years now but I recently had to reset my PC, thus I also had to reinstall character animator among other adobe apps I frequently use. However unlike photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign who work perfectly fine, character animator seems to be completely broken and neither a reinstall of the software, nor a download of an older version could fix this.Regarding the issue in question:When I start the Programm everything seems fine, but I am unable to start a new project. clicking on "new project" or using "ctrl+alt+n" does not lead to any response and if i try to open one of the example projects that the software provides, the interface is completely messed up as seen in the screenshot (don't wonder about the way too bright camera picture, thats another issue unrelated to this).Has anyone ever experienced this issue or any idea what could cause this?I really need to fix this as soon as

Bonjour,Le bouton Ps (Photoshop) depuis Character Animator ne fonctionne pas.Lorsque j'ouvre le fichier de la marionette avec Photoshop, je peux modifier ma marionette mais une fois revenue dans Ch jai un message d'erreur : "L'opération du fichier Photoshop a échoué. Raison: Because it is not a valid Photoshop document (-25090)".Comment déboguer?Merci

Hi all,I'm working on a project in both AE and Ch. I tried exporting from Ch via Media Encoder but it keeps failing. I confirmed that Media Encoder still works from AE. I saw that I had had two versions of Ch installed, so I uninstalled the old version and made sure that the versions of Ch and ME match. Now I don't get the error message to install Media Encoder but every attempt at a render, no matter the format, still fails.Out of desperation, I tried dragging and dropping the scene into AE to use it as a dynamic link even though I know that would cause a lag that isn't worth it, but even that isn't working, so I think the issue must be in Character Animator.Any help is appreciated!

Help. I keep getting an error and it wont even open the file so I could relink it. I've tried duplicating the project. Nothing.There is no way to even go into the file structure to try and fix this.It's a great app that needs a lot of work to be usable at a studio level. But any ideas how to fix this? Where is /ProjectItems/

hello !I use Adobe Character Animator's lip-syncing feature for my projects, and it has truly improved and reduced my workload , but I've noticed a little hiccup: the auto lip syncing feature doesn't quite get Arabic phonetics right.Arabic has its own unique sounds, and Character Animator's auto lip syncing isn't quite catching the Arabic vibe. It generates visemes that don't sound or look as they should. As a YouTuber, I'm really struggling with correcting the visemes. Don't get me wrong; I have no problem with correcting visemes, but the amount of correction I have to make is overwhelming! So, I'm kindly asking Adobe to think about enhancing this feature so that it works wth arabic too , This would be super helpful !! btw much love to the Adobe Character Animator team ❤️

Hello, I've been using character animator for a few years now and just came accross a new issue. I'm currently using version 24 on Windows 10 and as of today, while I have CH open, I can not use ANY of my cameras in other apps while the program is open. I have several cameras setup and have never had an issue using the other cameras while running CH. I'm thinking about going back down to version 23.6 to see if that fixes it but wanted to report this as it's very frustrating.

I have used an existing puppet as a basis for my character. When I resave in Adobe Illustrator, Character Animator updates, but with issues with the puppet (e.g., all of the mouths show at once).To be sure that I haven't accidentally changed something I oughtn't, I have recreated the issue:1. Start a new project, and use the free example puppet 'footy starter'.2. In Pro mode, select Edit>Edit Original3. In Illustrator, make a minor change like adding a shape, then save (CTRL-S). At this point, this message appears:Saving to a legacy format may cause some changes to your text layout and disable some editing features when the document is read back in. Do you want to continue?4. Weird bug I’ve encountered recently. Previously when I added Leader/Follower to a puppet with a walk view (for things like dresses and coats) it worked beautifully.Recently, when I add it, there is a jump (on occasion) and the walk cycle didn’t seem to work as well. Doing a little digging I found that this happens when I add Leader/Follower. The puppet (in the Left or Right Quarter view) seems to be rotating around the head. Also, the walk cycle seems to be constantly cycling, rather than starting when the walk cycle is activated. This also adds to the jump. I’ve gotten around this by check boxing ‘Pin Feet When Standing’ in the walk behavior. However there is still that weird jump that isn’t working as well as before.
