Hello, i am working on a projekt in Character Animatior. Now i can't drag and drop the audio to my timeline. The Problem:1. I import the audio in Character Animatior (thats working)2. I want to drag the audio an drop it into the timeline. (thats not working) The cursor doesn't show me the symbol if i click on the audio and try to drag it in the timeline. Can someone help me please?

Greetings, I've been attempting to use my Camera with Character Animator but I get an error message "Windows error The remote Procedure Call failed and did not execute" and the message "Selected camera is unavailable" will be displayed in the Camera & Microphone panel. I've tried two different cameras (a USB camera and the built-in HP camera on my Laptop) and none work (toggling between both will result in the "Procedure Call failed" prompt). The camera works in other applications (Zoom, Teams, etc.) but not within Character Animator. I've also followed some of the steps in another post from 2020 and no luck. I am on Windows 10 and using the latest version of Character Animator.. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi... I recorded motion lines with the Ninja puppet, it shows in Character Animator when I play the recorded scene. But after exporting video , the motion lines are totally gone.Exporting as MP4 or MOV using Quick or Encore.  Or directly importing the Character Animator file directly into After Effects, none of the above shows the recorded motion lines. My computer is New, Pentium Gen 14 i9 PC, 64 gigs ram.  etc ..Please give me some suggestions to fix the problem. Really appreciate it, thank you! 🙂

it was working fine before now its no good.

My limb IK panel is showing a small dimly lit red dot compared to all the other dots.  Limb IK is only working on the left arm but not the right.  Can you suggest how I might fix this????? 

I am trying to use the edit original option on the blank puppet. When I click edit original in character animate it automatically opens up in photoshop but without the layers. Due to this I am unable to edit the puppet in photoshop. I am using the the latest version of both PS and CH.PS version: PS 25.4Character Animater version: 24.2

Hello Everyone! I've been using Character Animator since last year and I've been working with Illustrator Files imported to Character Animator. My issue is everytime I make a change to my Illustrator File like updating my character or adding a shape, I just get the "Error opening Illustrator File -54 Error in Ch version 24.2x80" popup in Character Animator and I don't see the changes I've made at all. I've never had these problems before and I've worked with both Photoshop and Illustrator with Character Animator with no problems everytime I make  changes to my psd or ai files. Would love to hear some solutions from you guys and thx in advance!

I am just exploring this program a little bit.  I must be missing something as it seems all of the mens are greyed out. I am unable to select a workspace. There are no layers showing up.  I have the full Adobe suite available to me and I am running the latest update. Is there something else I am missing?

Can´t record seperate layers for the puppet dora from the presets. It just records, when i do everything at once. I tried to record speech first, then eyes etc., but it doesn´t record the layers over the speech layer. I also can´t change the background in the scene. Any suggestions? BestJohnny

Incompréhensible de la part d'Adobe ce genre de bug qui perdure depuis trop longtemps. A QUOI SERT CETTE APP SI L'ON NE PEUT PAS S'EN SERVIR ????? 

Hey, y'all!  Happy New Year, Everytime I change the scenery for a character, the software completely breaks. This is the error message:Character Animator Handle value is not a number Error Code :(Container js;249) I would upload a puppet, but it happens with all of them.    I'm on the latest version of the software(20214?) 2018 Macbook pro2.3 Ghz quad Core i516 gigs of ram If I've left anything out just let me know. Brand new to posting on these forums so I aplolgize for blowing any of the protocols. Thanks in advnce.Will  

Hello. Every single time I am trying to record something I've got this error: handle value is not a number!Error code: (Container.js:249)How can I fix it?I use newest version of the app, I use macbook pro 2019 with intel.

Hi,when I quit my session on Character Animator, I alwas save my file.But when I want to open the file again, I cant open it anymore. I can see the file in the explorer but the file size is 0 kb. I get  this two error warning messages. Its sad because I alwas have to start from the beginning with my projekt.Can you tell me what I can do better not to loose all the work? Lots of greatings Simona

I just downloaded the program and I'm using it in the free mode, but when I try to start a project, a message appears and then nothing happens. Can someone help me

I created all the arms and imported them correctly, the arms have leader and draggable followed by follow only, and I have only shoulder and wrist tagged as I want the character to have bendy arms. They are all named the same. But I get only 2 positions and it jumps.

Hello, I'm trying to make a puppet walk by using body tracker, but the puppet legs wont move at all. The upper body works great though. I watched okay samurai videos tried everything he showed, but nothing worked.Also, I had to uninstall and install adobe character 4 times. Every time I loggin, I get a message that my internet is offline. I have a strong internet, not sure why I keep getting this message. The software closes after it shows a message that It can't verify my subscription status. I'm using a free trial. I want to buy the subscription, but I couldn't test it.When I sign in I get a message that I'm signed out even after I enter my email and password, then when I click on signin, it opens.Free trial for 7 days is not enought to learn how to use adobe character. There is a lot to learn for beginners like me.I'm leaving  a feedbeck in hopes that adobe character will improve. I would definetelly purchase if I was able to test it out. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't. 

Cant seem to fix it, what did work for 1 day was uninstalling everything including the creative app. but the following day when i opened up character animator these messages keep popping up. cant do nothing to the puppet even on rig mode. the layers wont be shown. see pictures.been using character animator for years. never had this problem.  

character animator is not updating after getting the free trial, All other applications worked but this one not yet. Any advice?

I'm out of ideas for what's causing this. My mp4 and mov renders are distinctly washed out from the original puppets and art assets. Single frame exports and PNG sequences are color accurate, but I need to use mp4 and movs for work. I brought the frames into After Effects and Photoshop to confirm the problem wasn't with QuickTime or Media Player. I tried going back from Ch 24.0 to 23.6 with the matching Media Encoder versions. Still looking washed out. I've tried rendering on 3 different pcs, including a new higher end one, and the problem is still there.I've been working with Character for a couple years and I've never seen this before. I have old renders that look correct but new renders of the same scene come out wrong. As far as I can remember, I didn't chanage any settings, but maybe I did without realizing. I can use png sequences or do color correcting in After Effects, but that really only works as a temporary solution. Any ideas on what's going on would be very appre
