Working with a project that was origionally made in an older version of ASP. When I try to boot it up and it starts to load/render, it just closes abruptly part way through.If there's anything I could try to fix this it would be greatly apreciatedIts not a TdrDelay issue, I have both delay values set to 60 so its not due to thatASP Version 10.0.1
I am little bit disappointed, I have used this software for one day, but it was very resource intensive and 3D modelling was not working well.So uninstalled the software, and closed the trial period, But then Adobe started to try charge my bank account, day by day i getting email from adobe but not able to answer it I only want cancel the monthly subscription, the following email are not working: message@adobe.com, store@adobe.com, trials@adobe.com. help is not working, (cancel the monthly subscription) I am very disappointed, email address is not works, bet getting emails from it, help is not meaningful, it is a nightmare,
It's a bug report for Adobe staff, I doubt anyone can fix that anyway.Build 3640 As you can see on the video, the handles jump in all sens, I guess that version were never tested. Mac Mini M2 PROVentura 13.6.7
Dear Substance 3D team, on April 2nd my education plan of Adobe Substance 3D expired and I’m having difficulties to renew it.In the FAQ part on https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/ it says:"If you are still eligible at the end of the 12 months, you can renew your student license following the same redemption process." So I tried following the same redemption process: I’ve entered my email address and selected my country. But I haven’t received an email, yet.When I try again by entering my email address and country again, I’m getting an error message saying „uniqueID already exists“ now.I’ve contacted the Adobe support chat and they asked me to try entering my details again which led to the error message mentioned above.They also told me to create a new Adobe account and use its Adobe ID to redeem a code instead but for that email address I also haven’t received an email, yet.They said it would take 24-72 hours for the email to arrive but it’s been 10 days already and no e
Hi I have a bought model which came with UDIMs correctly set up. On import into SP, when I try and apply a simple texture to a part of the model (labelled body) which appears across multiple UDIM tiles, I can distortion. I've verified in another app that the model is clean, and there is no UV distortion of a default texture map. Any advice gratefully received!Thank you
Hello! There is a problem. There are no problems when creating UV mapping in Blender, I checked. On the right in the picture you can see that the UV scan of the light gray contour is incorrect and blurry. I redid the UV unwrapping in Blender several times, turned off the Auto-Unwrap checkbox...I will be glad to solve the problem
I'm currently working through parsec to remote into my work PC. I have a cintiq both on my office and home PC. I have assigned middle mouse click as one of my pen assignments so I can move my model around. This works fine when working on a fill layer either as a normal layer or in a mask, however when I am working on a paint layer (layer or mask) the button no longer works. I can still use my mouse to move around but the pen no longer functions correctly. If I click back on a fill layer it continues to work correctly.Have updated wacom drivers (6.4.6-2) on both PCsParsec has virtual tablet activated.Any help would be greatly appriciated.ThanksPainter 10.0.1 build 3757Parsec 150-94aWindows 11 on both PCs
I used to use Metal Edge Edge Wear generator and wear reference channel and alpha behavior settings, but it seems like these two setting disappered or maybe they were transwered to a different place?Previously these settings were below Mirco Normal and Height Mask, but now it's not and I cant scroll down furtherDoes anybodyhave the same isue or it's a bug?
I'm not entirely sure if this is actually a bug or I did something wrong, but I'm unable to open a project I was just working on three days ago and I'm in a rather significant bind as I have a deadline to meet. I haven't had any steam updates since the 11th, I've been the sole person working on this file; haven't had it sent to me from anybody so I'm genuinely stumped on where the heck the file got a newer version than the software I have?I have Windows 10, Substance 3D Painter, version 10.0.1Build 3757 - 7b4ced7a122f076dd24be6ab0be2d1299d7509ff I already sent a bug report from the program itself but wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions on what to do while I wait so I figured I'd ask.Bug report number (253903) if that's important at all.
Hi, These are the specs of my computer: AMD 5600X32GB DDR4ASUS TUF 570X-PRO (WiFi)AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT w/ 16GB I'm trying to open a file that's relative big but the program just hangs and decides to stop trying at a very early stage. The menu seem to work but the screen gets white. I can open some smaller files but the brushes are extremely slow. I already tried everything from what I could find in here (like changing the energy profile of the program and disable/enable options within the program). It feels like it's not detecting my GPU because loads are extremely low. What can I do?

Hello,As you know, we must map a drive to share ressource and update libraries in substance painter or designer accross users in studio. It's not enough to industry needs.Could you please develop this feature quickly.As there are already many tickets about this subject and given the price of software, I don't consider this problem as an idea or a conversation, but as a bug.Thank you
Since the 10.0 update (I have the Steam version) folders are grayed out and cannot be opened when dragging them in and out of other folders.They still have all the layers inside, but they cannot be accessed. The workaround is to copy/cut and paste them in and out of folders instead of dragging.
When I try to save, it won't let me and I get a few errors (log image is attached to this post).I've tried removing unused resources, and I've gone to file:///C:/Users/BRADLE~1/AppData/Local/Temp/2m19n17w.bmp on my drive and the file definitely isn't there.

Now tried it again, still busted. Checked the foums, problems are reported without any resposes by devs. I would love to see it fixed since it a really handy function 😞Problems that pop up are1, Using undo somtimes removed a whole lot more than your last stroke/action.2, Colors sometimes multiplies and cannot be painter over itself.3, Sometimes a stroke just breaks prior work, even when loading up a file from say, the day before.
When using the Substance Painter color picker on macOS (Sonoma here), all other windows get minimised. It's impossible to pick color from another app like this.
This is the log shown, when i open an FBX it simply doesn't open anything, none of the brush options shows up and it says "Untitled(Read Only)". How can I fix this?
I have an OCIO environment variable pointing to ACES 1.0.3 config, which I share between other DCC software in my pipeline. Up to SP version 8.1.3 (or maybe 8.1.2?) it was possible to customize defaults in "Color Settings", "Bitmap import color space defaults", "Substance materials" and "Export color spaces" sub-sections of the "New Project" window's "Color Management" section. This has worked ever since OCIO support was introduced in SP. Something has changed however, and currently it's no longer possible to do this, because for some reason all dropdown lists are grayed out. Of course the defaults are completely wrong, so my pipeline is broken at the moment. Was there any change introduced lately that now prevents from modifying OCIO defaults if OCIO envar is set? If so, then what was the rationale? Or is it a bug? (Steam, SP 8.1.3, Debian Bookworm)
I badly need help, substance painter randomly restarted my PC while texturing. It kept happening over and over again. It would open for a bit and then it immediately restarts my pc. I've also tried other files, to see if the file I was originally working on was corrupted but it still does the same thing. Substance painter restarts my PC whenever I do literally anything. It restarts my PC when I bake textures, it restarts when I access the assets tab, it restarts when I paint on textures. I have done everything I can from reinstalling the app, updating drivers and installing Windows updates. I never tampered with any of substance's settings or preferences. I've also reset my computer, as in reinstalling Windows all over again and redownloading all my apps, CC and substance painter but it still does the same thing. I do not know what to do anymore.
When opening a particular FBX file and some others, substance painter will begin to load the scene then crash very shortly into the loading process. Initially, increasing my virtual memory from 12 GB to 16 GB seemed to allow me to open some additional files, but the one I want to open next will not load. It occaisonally makes it into the auto UV unwrapping stage but only makes it into single digit % completion before crashing (I would like to auto uv unwrap the model). After increasing virtual memory to 256 GB, it still crashes and doesn't appear to utilize a noticable percentage of virtual memory when viewed in performance monitor when attempting to load the file (viewing % Page File utilization). This makes me think that virtual memory isn't the limiting factor. Any information that could help me open my FBX file for texturing would be greatly appreaciated. I'm pretty new to the software, i think i might be doing something wrong. I wanted to import an alpha on top of a opacity layer and there is this pesky gray border around it. Shoulden't it be transaprent? I've tried to play with blending modes, I also tried using an anchor.The only thing that i came up with is manually painting it out with a mask, but thats not precise..Can someone help me here? Without the opacity layer underneath, everything works as intended, there are no gray borders. Alpha with opacity channel on and off.

I just got yesterday my student license to use the 3D softwares, I am getting the button for installing the programs, but whenever I open the installed app, in my case Substance 3D Painter, I keep getting this message where it asks me to either Quit, buy it or starting a free trial. As I mentioned earlier, I already have an active student license paired with my account. I have tried several things that I found on the internet, including signing out/in, reinstalling both Creative Cloud and Substance Painter etc.
