When creating a new object (e.g. using the Rectangle Tool), the previously created object disappears from the canvas. Previous object is not visible anymore (preview or outline view).
I discovered that my beta version of Ilustrator that I installed on my Surface Pro tablet (running Windows 11) has upgraded itself to version 30 and in the process, can no longer recognize pressure sensitivity with my stylus. I tested the stylus in other programs and I can confirm that those programs have no difficulty with varying pressure. I do not know what has changed (does this have something to do with using emulation to get Illustrator to work with the Surface Pro ARM processor?) and I would really like to go back to creating with this program. Has anybody else experienced this problem and if so, are there any settings I can use to get Illustrator to once again acknowledge pressure variations?
Title: Input field text clipped vertically in New Document dialog (Illustrator Beta 30.4.159)Application: Adobe Illustrator Beta Version: 30.4.159 OS: macOS Hardware: Mac StudioSteps to Reproduce:Launch Adobe Illustrator Beta 30.4.159 Open the New Document dialog (File > New) Observe any numeric input field in the Preset Details panel (Width, Height, Bleed, etc.)Expected Result: Text in input fields displays fully, with characters vertically centered and unclipped within the field bounds.Actual Result: Text in input fields is clipped at the top. Character ascenders are cut off, making values difficult to read.Reproducible: Yes, consistently on launchNotes: Issue appears in all input fields within the New Document dialog's Preset Details panel. Likely a UI scaling or field height regression introduced in this build. Screenshot attached.
The text in the design has disappeared, and I can't get it back. This problem occurred in my cloud files.

Upon opening a file, the first few actions cannot be undone. I opened up a client’s artwork to resize to print, and I could move things around and add things and then could not redo anything unless I closed it without saving and reopened. After a few edits, I could being to make changes that could be undone but my first actions were still not able to be undone.
I wanted to move or delete an image but when i did this, the image restored and action was taken like if i did a ctrl+Z.really weird.Happened since last update (version 30.5)
It’s a little difficult to color correct something if the scopes are covering the thing you’re trying to color correct. Why is it not popping up on the right of this workspace? I’m guessing there’s a setting to move it, but it really shouldn’t be covering up the shot.
After latest update on illustrator Beta, currently working on Illustrator Beta 30.5.41 on a Macbook Pro, Sonoma 14.8.1, some of the major keyboard shortcuts stopped working, like zoom, pointer, and view outlines, can’t tell them all. It was working fine until the update. Zoom won’t work even changing between CPU or GPU. And Standard Illustrator works fine.
First, can I just say that this bug form is a mess. If I want to edit the title of my post, it loses the content I have been laboring over for the last hour. You end up getting the shorter, less effective description because I have to start all over. Please fix this. Changing the font in the Glyphs panel will only display the icon font if the text object is empty. If there is text in the text box, selecting Font Awesome in the Glyphs panel shows a blank. Also, when I return to the workspace and drag-copy a previously defined text object, select the text tool and begin editing the text, the Character field in the main toolbar says “font awesome” though it clearly is not font awesome. I have the type tool active and the word Reference Point selected, but the Character menu above says FontAwesome even though it’s not
In the attached video, I select the object I want to warp.I select the Envelope Distort > Warp option from the Edit menu.If I adjust the slider to 0 for percentage, the preview should show no distortion but it does. This is true if I enter 0 manually, or drag the sliders to 0. If I change the distortion to Vertical, only the distortion map changes, not the preview of the distortion. If I change the Warp Type, the distortion map barely changes and the sliders don’t work as expectedIf I radically change my settings, then change Warp Type, nothing changes in the preview or the distortion map.If I toggle the Preview button, nothing happens. The incorrectly distorted preview persists. If I Cancel, the selected object should remain untouched. Instead the incorrect distortion map is applied.I am running the latest version of the beta: 30.4.135 (64-bit) on Windows 11 up to date. I have 32 gb RAM and more than 100Tb of storage with multiple scratch disks on various NMVEs and SSDs
Adobe Illustrator Beta version 30.4 is not working well with Snapdragon Elite X (QuadComm Andreno X1-85 GPU) version 31.0.96.0. The image is weird
In documents which I have already saved on Illustrator Beta, all my text has disappeared. This only seems to be an issue with the Beta edition as when I access it on my desktop computer (which uses the 2025 regular version) all the text is still there. I can see the text on the preview of my document, but when I open it, it disappears. Theres no hidden text box or selection area which indicates that there’s something there, it’s just completely blank. I can solve the issue by outlining the text but it’s annoying when I need to go back and edit it. This happened after an update around the 25th March and still hasn’t resolved itself.
Correction: I accidentally posted this in the Illustrator (Beta) section. This issue also occurs in the regular release version of Illustrator.単色にアピアランスでグレーシャドウを入れた場合、内側の光彩が反映されず前面がグレーになってしまう。 DescriptionWhen applying Inner Glow to an object with a solid fill color (e.g. white 100%), the entire object becomes gray and the effect does not render correctly. This issue occurs after reopening the file — the appearance changes and looks like a gray overlay is applied across the whole object. However, when using a gradient fill (even white 100% → white 100%), the Inner Glow effect works as expected. This behavior breaks the original design and seems inconsistent.Steps to reproduceCreate an object with solid fill (e.g. white 100%) Apply Inner Glow Save the file Reopen the file The object appears gray instead of whiteExpected resultInner Glow should render correctly regardless of whether the fill is solid or gradient.Actual resultThe object becomes gray and the effect does not display correctly.W

Issue:When opening existing documents from Creative Cloud, type objects do not appear. There is no error message (e.g., “font not found”), but no text objects, handles, or outlines are visible.Expected Behavior:Type objects should display normally when opening documents from Creative Cloud.Observed Behavior:Type objects are completely invisible (no bounding boxes, handles, or outlines). No font or missing asset warnings are shown.Workarounds / Additional Findings:Opening the same document in Adobe Illustrator 2026 displays the type objects correctly. Saving the document locally from Illustrator 2026 allows it to open properly in Adobe Illustrator Beta, with all type objects visible. Newly created documents (saved either locally or to Creative Cloud) display type objects correctly when reopened.Environment:Software: Adobe Illustrator Beta Version: 30.4.103 Windows 11
Since updating Illustrator, my files won’t open. Support hasn’t resolved it. I urgently need my files back or access to an older version. If my device isn’t compatible, I’ll revert—but why is my saved work corrupted despite paying for cloud services?
Sometimes the copy/paste shortcut is not working at all. I have to help myself with alt button. I searched the issue and obviousely I'm not the only one with that issue. Thank you
This may be more of a feature request than a bug report, and may already be on the roadmap. When using turntable to generate a turnaround of something, you can edit what you see in a particular view, but if you rotate away and back, those edits are not saved and they revert back to what was originally generated. There’s a little bit of text saying "edits in this view will not sync with other rotated views", but it’s not clear that your work will be lost if you rotate to another view. The expected result would be to save those edits to a view. If I make a change, I expect it to be able to retain that edit even if I rotate off of that view and then back again.Additionally, it would be useful to be able to lock certain views and then regenerate the turntable views to generate the views between those which are locked. Otherwise, if it just went by what was edited, or perhaps if views could be selected and then allow the user to select a “regenerate selected views” option.Example 1: I have a
