iMac 27" 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 macOS Ventura 13.3.1 The function works fine if processing is completed and a DNG file is created. Works fine if the preview window is closed using the Cancel button. If the ai denoise preview window is closed using the red dot in the top left then LRC freezes and requires a forced quit.

Lightroom Classic Version Number: 12.2.1 Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1413Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22639.1000.0   Steps to reproduce: 1)  Open notepad, enter a text with a linebreak, copy & paste into the keywords field. This creates a keyword with a linebreak. Practical usage case: I am copy-pasting animal species names from nature kindle books to the respective animal pictures. Since the line breaks don't show as a special carachter, they are not obvious in case the copied line break matches the display linebreak in the keywords field 2) Export the keywords (CSV method) 3) Try to import the keywords into lightroom. This returns an error about invalid data.   Expected behavior: a) Either lightroom should filter special characters or b) properly use quotes in CSV export and respect them on import c) Alert then special carachters are used.

Photo Merge > Panorama / Perspective sometimes crashes LR -- I've submitted two crash reports under my Adobe Id.   It occurs repeatedly:   1. Do a successful Photo Merge > Panorama of two overlapping photos with Perspective, Boundary Warp set to 0, and the other options unchecked.  This will set those options as the current default.   2. Import these two photos: https://www.dropbox.com/s/or051jcumfsn8pj/panorama-crash.2023.05.10.ARW.zip?dl=0    3. Do Photo Merge > Panorama and set Boundary Warp to 100. Observe that Cancel and Merge don't do anything.   4. Click Cylindrical and observe the warning "Unable to merge the photos. Not enough matching photos for merging."   6. Click Perspective.  LR crashes.   Tested on LR 12.3 / Mac OS 13.3 / Macbook Pro (2023, 16", Apple M2 Max).  See the attached System Info.  The problem doesn't occur on my Windows ARM 11.

Hi,   I have LrC version 12.2.1 installed. LrC is syncing about 100 pictures before it craches and need a restart. I need to sync the 40 k pictures that I have in the cloud, so it is going to be a long day before all are synced to my local drive.

Issue: If I filter the unflagged images and then activate the cropping tool, while still in cropping mode, if I flag the image, rather than it advancing me to the next unflagged image, the develop window goes blank.   Lightroom Classis Versio: 12.3 OS Version Number: Ventura 13.0   Step 1. Filter unflagged images using the filter bar Step 2. Activate Cropping mode Step 3. With the cropping mode active, flag the current image Step 4. Technische Daten:   Lightroom: V12.01 Computer: MacBook Pro Chip: Apple M1 RAM: 16GB macOS: Ventura (13.0)

Issue: LrC 12.2  macOS Ventura 13.2.1   Steps to reproduce: Create a Smart Collection with one rule: "Label Color" = red (or any other color given to any photos in the Catalog). The Smart Collection gets populated immediately with all photos labeled "red" in the Catalog. No Filters are applied. Exit Lightroom Classic. Re-open Lightroom Classic. The Smart Collection shows 0 photos and displays the following message: "No photos in selected Smart Collection." Switch between Grid and Loupe View, or switch Filters On/Off. All photos previously present in the Smart Collection re-appear.   Expected result: After re-opening LrC the Smart Collection should show all photos labeled "red" (or any other color chosen in the Rule dialog). Actual result: No photos are shown.

I am using LrC on Mac (v12.3). When viewing images in LrMobile on my iOS devices (both iPhone and iPad), many of my images display "Waiting for settings". This has been reported elsewhere in these discussions. It was asserted recently that the April 2023 software update fixed the problem. It has not, or at least not for me. All my devices are running the latest OSes and latest Lr apps.   Help would be appreciated.

This bug is driving me crazy. Upgraded to the newest lightroom today (from 8.4) expecting this would be fixed by now. I'm doing a lot of product photography, sometimes retouching in lightroom isn't enough so I switch to editing the original JPEG file. When saving the image and returning to lightroom the aspet ratio of the image is all wrong and all the edits are upside down (I would like to keep the lightroom edits). This only happens with portrait photos, not landscape. I have deleted my user profile settings in Photoshop as suggested somewhere, tried the "Automatically write changes to XMP" but nothing is working. Please help..   on a Mac, Monterey 12.6.1, Lightroom 12.3, Photoshop 24.5   Video of the workflow: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mll45wxvhj0lx7n/Aspect%20ration%20rotation%20bug.mov?dl=0

Basically when I use Edit in Photoshop 2021 I get scaling issues like this - i.e. the mouse pointer appears in one place but affects the image in another. So when I try and draw around the eye on the right the effect is as above. If I export the image to the desktop and open manually in Photoshop this doesn't happen - only when exporting from Lightroon Classic. Both Lightroom and Photoshop individually work fine on different monitors at different resolution, but like most people, I like to use the Edit in Photoshop function as it is a fundamental part of my workflow. I thought to start with this was a Photoshop problem but now I am not sure. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without plugins but nothing has changed. I've even tried reinstalling the OS. You can read the full thread here under the Photoshop section. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/scaling-issue-in-photoshop-2021-v22-5-1-but-only-when-editing-from-lightroom-classic/m-p/12459284&nbsp

The Book module doesn't correctly use a fallback font for a character not supported by the current font. The workaround is to selected the text in the field, change to another font that supports the character, then change back to the original font.    To reproduce:   1. In the Book module, click in a page-text field and set the font in the Type panel to Myriad Pro.   2. Copy this text: Boǧgazkale   3. Paste the text into the field and observe the ǧ is displayed with the last-resort box:   4. Select all the text in the field and change the font in the Type panel to Helvetica, and observe the ǧ is properly displayed:   5. Change the font back to Myriad Pro and observe that the ǧ is now correctly displayed using a fallback font:   Tested on LR 12.3 / Mac OS 13.4 and Windows 11.

When I click on the cloud icon in the upper right hand of LR Classic it says it is synching 1,759 photos.  If i click on the gear icon and go to the sync dialog it says it is syncing 25 photos.  It's been saying this for many weeks. I can't figure out what photos it's syncing (or not) and what is going on...?

I have over 60,000 images on an external hard drive.  Today when I opened Lightroom and tried to navigate to a recent image using the Navigator Panel, the folders and subfolders are all showing the numbers of photos inside the folder, but when I click on a subfolder it says "No photos in the selected Folder".  When I check the Finder they are there.  If I go to the highest level of parent folder on that external drive all 60,000 images are showing at that level and I can scroll through them.  But when I drill down to any lower level that the very highest, they are not there.  I have not done any moving of files or folders in the last several months and up until today everything was working fine.  I have not installed any new plugins or done anything out of the ordinary with Lightroom recently.  Any idea why this is happening and more importantly how I can fix it?  I've included a couple of screenshots to show what I'm talking about.

Hi there! The subject says it all. After I soft proof an image for printing I can't usw the before/after shortcut anymore. It seems like the "before version" is just gone. That's super annoying.  I  uncheck soft proofing, hit the shortcut and nothing happens. If I don't soft prrof lightroom would show me the before image with zero changed values. That's what I need.  Please help or fix this.    Thanks!

Again, the shortcuts for German language translation and keyboards is broken.  Examples for develop module (references taken from Adobe's documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/de/lightroom-classic/help/keyboard-shortcuts.html) : Cycle through base settings: . / , -> these are mapped to increase/decrease picture rating Brush size: ö / # -> # increases current slide in base settings; ö seems to do nothing Anything using [ / ] -> this doesn't work on German keyboards; no exceptions!  This list continues endlessly.  @Adobe: Can you please finally implement QA for all languages you deliver your product for?  Cross post from https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/keyboard-shortcuts-for-german-broken-in-lightroom-c...

Hi,   LRC 12.2.1 is not starting anymore, just launches as a background process using significant amounts of RAM and CPU, but the visible window never shows up.    I have already: - Tried the alt-shift-click thingie. - Tried logging out and in from CC. - Wiping all data files from the computer and letting LRC create a fresh Lightroom folder and catalog file (sometimes it does that, sometimes it hangs before the folder is created).  - Wiping all Adobe products with the cleaner tool and reinstalling just LRC. - I have even formatted and reisntalled the computer (becuase it was a good time to do that anyway).   But LRC still fails. In my editing I am always doing the following:   I have the crop overlay open. I make any last minute adjustments and crop the image. Without closing the crop overlay I hit "5" signifying the photo is ready for delivery. The photo disappears and the next one comes up ready to do the same again. This is a fast way to finish up an edit.   The problem is that for the past couple of versions of Lightroom Classic, when I hit '5' the next photo does not come up. It used to happen rarely, but now it happens more or less every time. The only way to get the photos to show again is to click on another one in the filmstrip. Even going to 'Library' and back to 'Develop' does not show the next image.   Please see this screen recording so you can see what I mean.   This is incredibly frustrating for a guy that delivers 100s of images at a time, it's really slowing me down. Can anyone suggest anything to try? Thanks.

LR 12.3 won't install on Windows 11 ARM, even though LR 12.2.1, 12.1, and 12.0 install without issue.  Creative Cloud produces the error: The detailed steps at Learn more don't fix the problem.   I've tried:   - Running the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to remove all Creative Cloud apps and files.   - Installing in a different, newly created account.   - Installing in a virgin Windows 11 ARM installation.   - Installing while connected via three different ISPs, separated by 200 miles, increasing the likelihood this isn't a CDN problem.   Without a running Windows LR 12.3, I'm unable to debug my plugins or help Windows users.

Hi, after a roll back on mac os Monterey to keep the tethering possibilites unvailable on Ventura, Lightroom 12.2 crashes as soon as i ask to tether and restart under Rosetta. Help please

Good day. I ran across this issue yesterday, 6 Nov, and I'm not sure who (Adobe, Apple, Epson) is responsible for t/s and fix- it is frustrating. Simple to explain - fixing is another issure entirely.   I'm using a 16" 2019, Intel MacBook Pro w/32Gb Ram. I upgraded to MacOS Ventura and Lightroom Classic v12.0.1.  Going into Print Module and trying to select Page Set Up crashes Lightroom. I tried restarting the computer, resetting LR Preferences and turning off GPU Acceleration to no avail. Do the LR Print Module, Page Set Up and Printer Settings, pull their input from the printer manufacturer drivers? Again, I'm not sure who is responsible or even how to go about troubleshooting/fixing. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.I have two projects for customers in work - I should have known better than to upgrade this soon.

My Lightroom Classic auto-updated this week and I discovered that the Auto Advance option no longer works when applying keywords. (It still works for flagging--I didn't try color labels or anything else.) I am in Library mode, Loupe view.  My workflow is to chose "None" as the Keyword (in Grid view), switch to Loupe view, and then press Ctrl+K to add the keywords. It has always auto-advanced to the next photo after I press enter, with the Keyword field active and ready for me to enter the new set of keywords for the next photo. I tag sports action photos with the player names and I have been doing this for years, so I discovered this bug as soon as I loaded photos from this week's games and tried to tag them. I did check to ensure that Auto Advance is selected under the Photo menu. (It was off when I checked, but even after enabling it, there was no change.)  I reverted back to version 12.1 and it works now, so this Auto Advance on Keywording functionality seems to have been

When starting Tethering capture with camera disconnected, Tether dialog opens, and I can slick Start Capture, but camera is not detected. If I start Tether Capture with camera connected, LrC tells me I have to relaunch in Rosetta mode. When I then start Tether Capture, camera is detected, and I can take pictures LrC randomly terminates at any time. When I switch to Live view, I can also take pictures.  When I close Live view, LrC starts detecting camera, and camera is not detected. A few crash reports are sent I first tried this in Ventura 13.0.1, then upgraded to 13.2.1, but results were the same.

When I attempt to email a photo using Lightroom Classic on my mac I get a crashes every time.  It occurs when I type the to address it crashes when I get to about the 9th character in the address.  So far I have been on the phone with adobe and they gave up after trying it in a new user account and it functioned correctly.  I have uninstalled lightroom, deleted all the preferences I can find, and reinstalled it but the issue remains.  Both macOS and LRc are fully updated.  Has anyone else had this issue come up and found a solution?

Hi,   Every time I am about to quit Lightroom, I stare irritated at the screen. Someone has decided to translate ”quit” into the Swedish word ”avbryta”. It should be ”avsluta”.   I attach the quit dialogue that probably explains it. The Swedish word ”avbryta” is the English word ”cancel”
