I want to change my account settings in the Lightroom app. But every time I click on the user account, the app crashes immediately.   iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 18.1 Lightroom v. 10.0.1 450863/171   App-Settings -> Account -> Crash

Hello,    After the update 8.0 the Tone setting is not resetting back to 0 even if you double click on it or right-click>reset all values.    Also, you can't input the desired value by typing it.      It happens in both MacOs and Windows.   Anyone else having this issue?   

Version: 8.0 Windows 11 Pro 23H2   Hi,   in Lightroom CC v7.5, I was happily importing H.265 (aka HEVC) into Lightroom straight from the Camera.  Now in v8.0, this no longer works, sending me on a wild goose chase to install HEIC and HEVC extensions, costing me 1 USD. (ok, I will survive, but still).  Despite installing all that, it still doesn't work.  Going back to v7.5 restores the ability to import H.265.  I am happy to provide a sample file.   Steps to reproduce: 1) update to v8.0 2) create an H.265 recording on OM Systems OM-1 3) try to import said file   Expectation: Import preview shows thumbnail, allows to select the file and import makes the file available in Lightroom CC eco system   Actual: Thumbnail is black. On hover, shows an error about needing HEVC extension

Hi, I noticed the point curve anchor point options are gone in LR (cloud-based) 8.0. See the attached screenshots for a comparison between 7.5 and 8.0. Can you confirm if this is a bug that will be addressed in the future, or if the feature is deliberately removed from LR from now on?   If it is deliberately removed, I think it would be a bad design because (1) it made the previous edits incompatible with the new version because you cannot see or adjust the anchor points and (2) the anchors are quite useful for selecting the image regions to perform adjustments on. I am sticking with 7.5 for now and will not be upgrading until this issue is properly addressed. 

After update Lightroom from 7.5 to 8.0 on macOS, entering filename in filter bar to search photo is broken. No matter the full file name nor part of it. Lightroom 7.5   Lightroom 8.0   Please fix this issue.  

Hello, I hope this information reaches Lightroom engineers at Adobe.   Lightroom CC 7.5 stutters when panning with a mouse polling rate set over 125hz, using an Nvidia graphics card for acceleration. It works smoothly when set at 125hz or below. This is only an issue when graphics acceleration is used.   Windows 11 23H2 Build 22631.4169 Nvidia RTX 4080 Driver 561.09   I would appreciate if this was confirmed and planned for fixing. Please understand that it is very annoying to have to switch to lower polling rate just to use Lightroom.

Regarding the new Archive Photo locally function in Lihgtroom Desktop, I experience that unedited photos are tagged as edited after being moved to the local storage. The Reset Edit function is greyed out/disabled (beacuase there are no edits). If I open the photo in develop, I can verify there are no edits applied. The only workaround I have found, is to reset the develop settings in Lightroom Classic (which is kind of cumbersome and unwanted). Does anyone else experience this, and is it a workaround I haven't thought of? I shoot raw. To my big surprise, I also see that even after applying some edits to the local photo, I am unable to reset the edits if I right click it (it's grey/disabled). Hello, I have a Lightroom album which I share with a number of other people. It contains both stills and videos. I have enabled for guests to download content. I have shared a link by generating it in my Lightroom application on my Mac. When the guests follow that link, they get taken to the web interface of Lightroom. I have been informed that when they download video, the sound disappears. This seems to happen consistently for iOS users but apparently works for Android users. It sounds to me, but I am no expert, that there could be a codec issue on the device. Worth noting is that if I download video from the iPhone Lightroom app to my physical phone, there is no issue with the sound, but if I download from the web browser on the phone, I get the same issue. This is rather disturbing as I don't want to have to force all the guests in the album to insall the iOS Lightroom app to make it work. Any suggestions or solutions?

Platform: iPad Pro, latest OS Lightroom version: 9.5   Issue:  when I apply a monochrome profile (specifically any of the cobalt images Monochrom M10 profiles, but I suspect any similar) the profile applies, but as of this app release any attempt to adjust the RAW (exposure, highlights, etc) reverts the image to color, and automatically sets the profile to Adobe Color. Prior to this update, they functioned normally as a base profile, and still work fine on desktop (MacOS, latest Lightroom CC version)     specific steps: 1. Take any color raw you have 2. Apply profile; the M10 profiles in question are XMP profiles with an RGB LUT that's applied after all image controls (per Cobalt; I checked with them first). Note the image goes monochrome as expected. 3. Make any adjustment in the develop panel, such as exposure, shadows, contrast, etc   result:  image resets to color, profile UI briefly freezes, automatically sets Adobe Color after few seconds. Export with border no longer works correctly as of 10.0.1, iOS and iPadOS. The added border (say 10 px) has a significance lack of opacity so it is in effect useless. Can anyone else confirm this? It fails on both versions of LR cc (feature not available on MacOS). It's destroyed my workflow. 

I've been using a trackpad and keyboard for my iPad for a while now and in all my apps the trackpad and keyboard work perfectly except for Lightroom which annoys me a bit because its the only app actually pay for.    First off you can't zoom into photos like in the default photos app or safari using the trackpad, I've tried everything and I don't even think there is a way to zoom in using a trackpad altogether    second of all its really buggy to use generally in the whole app   it really does annoy me because its a paid app and I expect a paid app to have somewhat basic support for these things.   Another thing i would love is shortcuts. I'm not familiar with the desktop/lightroom version of Lightroom but I'm sure it has some keyboard shortcuts and it would be great to have them on ipadOS

I just tested the new archive option in Lr Desktop 7.3. Therefore I used edited RAW and DNG files and exported them to my desktop. Both don't show the edits when opened up in ACR or after importing them into LrC. Bummer!

Hi, I'm giving Lightroom a try after years using Capture One. I've been doing some strong light still lives using Phase One's Extended capture, which adds 3 stops of dynamic range, blending two exposures in camera, which can give very dark files when exposing to highlights. The shadows raise fine in C1 but are turning magenta in LR. I haven't tried non extended capture files in Lightroom yet as I'm most interested in making use of the 18 stop (it is said) extended capture files. I've attached a screenshot which doesn't render the HDR the file was developed in, but shows the magenta cast which happens mostly in the corners, which is interesting, as if it were a lens cast issue... but the lens is a 90mm Rodenstock on a BSI, I think it's called, sensor which generally doesn't require a lens cast correction, but maybe a LCC would help in this case, but Lightroom doesn't offer LCC that I know of so I don't know how I would use a lens cast corrected file made in Capture one in Lightroom as t

In Lightroom 10.0.1 for Android, when using crop, select Original Image Aspect Ratio.After pressing ✓ to finish cropping, select the crop function again to return to custom.If you change the ratio to something like 1:1, the setting will remain.   Lightroom 10.0.1 , Android , Japanese Ver.

I'm a wedding photographer who uses LR CC for culling extensively and this latest update did something to screw up the UI making culling unbearable.   1. Swiping between photos used to be snappy and quick, now it's almost as if it's holding the image during the entire swipe, which is making swipes much slower.    2. Swiping up/down for flagging used to be much more sensitive, and now the action has to be very exaggerated to register a flagging action.    3. Swiping up/down for flagging is often getting misinterpreted as a swipe to the left or right. When using Lightroom in Google pixel 9 pro fold, the app performs as expected except for opening/editing images on the inside screen. You can browse albums, and such, and edit images on the outer screen, but it shows nothing but black (with side bars and editing tools still showing though)

My iPhone automatically add the GPS data. When I import these photos into Lightroom, Lightroom automatically fills in the City, State/Province and Country metadata fields. I than manually add the metadata in the Location field. I also add Title, Caption, Keywords and make adjustments to the photos.   When I archive the album locally and view the archived album on Local Browse, all the metadata carries over except City, State/Province and Country (the metadata automatically added from the GPS location). I tested this on both on both heic and dng files.    Please adjust the archive locally function so that it retains these three metadata fields upon archive.  Thank you.

Hi,  I use the LR mobile version. If i open a video in LR, one of my presets will automatically applied on the video... if i tap and hold on the video I can't even see the original one. I don't see any changes in colour or light panel... even if i save the video  on my device like that, I see the original video. So it's only visible when opening the video in LR.  I checked the app settings- import- Raw default setting  and "Camera settings" is selected (no Preset)   Could you please help me? Hello everyone. I have been using Lightroom Classic for a brief time, much to my enjoyment. What has been a very big plus is that LrC has always imported DNG files with the in-camera presets attached to them, so I can edit the DNG file with my camera settings, i.e. film simulation, already embedded.All of a sudden LrC and Lr show me the DNG files as if I had only been shooting raw, not raw+jpeg. It does not matter what settings I try fiddling with and I have been unable to find any answers online. I could find a setting in Lr for embedding the camera settings to the raw-file, and a similar setting in LrC, but it doesn't work even with the setting on.This used to be how the program worked by default but now it's gone. And this issue means I would have to edit the jpegs for printing, so this is quite a big problem for me.Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

In the past week something has changed. I've always shared the link to albums and check to allow downloads.  As of last week viewers cannot hold down to save the image or save to device. It only gives the option to download and the you have to go into your downloads to save . Anyone else experiencing this?

I was editing this morning and everything was fine. Then I saw an app update, downloaded/installed, and went back to work. Now I can no longer resize my frames in masking mode which increases my workload erasing masking areas from the edges.  iPhone 15 Pro Max w/ iOS 17.6.1 installed

I'm having issues with shooting raw with the iPhone 13 Pro in Lightroom Mobile. Whenever I try to take a macro wide shot using the wide lens it doesn't save at all when I'm in DNG mode but as soon as focus further back it does work. Seems like some weird bugs going on with the ultra wide angle raw on Lightroom Mobile.    {title modified by Moderator; the issue is not specific to one generation of iPhone macro camera}

Today, I noticed that when exporting a photo, the same photo that previously had altitude information now has lost it. Now, I use the iPhone Camera app to take photos, which include altitude data, but after importing the photo into Lightroom and exporting it, the altitude information disappears. I’ve been using the “Export As” feature each time.
