I wanted to submit a bug report after running into this issue with a client and confirming it on my own system. This is with Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5. According to the client the issue did not exist on 2015.4The client has a SAN that uses ACLs to control permissions due to having multiple AD groups in use. They recently updated to Photoshop 2015.5 and immediately started having permission issues with PSD files. They were no longer able to save PSDs that other users had created. In looking into the issue I found that even though the ACLs were correct on the filesystem Photoshop was completely ignoring them and was defaulting to the POSIX permissions. POSIX on OS X are restricted to Owner R/W by default so this quickly became a problem. I verified it was only looking at POSIX by modifying the POSIX permissions on a test file (opened it to rwx-rw-r--) so that the group could write the file. This allowed the user to save the file which had been created by another user.I also verified

There appears to be an issue in CC2017 and CC2015 with the menu item 3D Show/Hide Polygons. Selecting an area and hiding the polygons works correctly - however Reveal All - remains greyed out in the menu so the polygons cannot be unhidden. I checked in CS6 and this feature works as expected (i.e. once polygons are hidden then Reveal All becomes available to unhide them) .

Mac OS 10.12.1 running Photoshop 2017.0.0. When trying to convert a grayscale image to a bitmap image, if any amount of the image is selected conversion fails and a program error alert appears.

Photoshop CC 2017.0.1: When a document has abackground layer (which is locked) and the move tool is used then a warningmessage is given. That happens on new (unsaved) files and files saved as PSB,and TIFF. However if the file is saved as a PSD them on using the move tool thebackground is changed to Layer 0 and is unlocked without any warning.Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a document (no artboard just plain background layer)2. Try to move the layer with the move tool - warning is given3. Save as PSD4. In Photoshop Batch Processing, it would be great if the Source Folder Window (... Choose ... Browse for Folder) could be resized. It's fixed at a small size and can pretty painful to use if you're navigating a lot of folders, or even a few. The Result Folder Window can be resized so why not the source?

I created a Smart Object containing white text on a transparent background. The Smart Object has a .5 px  Gaussian Blur applied as a Smart Filter. The blending options of the Smart Filter are set to Mode: normal, Opacity: 40%. If I edit the contents of the Smart Object (for example, change the position of the text) the Smart Object creates a dark halo around the text when it updates. If I edit the Smart Filter's blending options to reapply the same settings the halo disappears. It's a major drag to have to reapply the blending options anytime I update my smart object. I am seeing UI artifacts in macOS Sierra on a Mac Pro 2013 and MacBook Pro 15 retina 2012. It occurs in scrolling in brush presets or other menus with a mouse or Wacom pen. Only when dragging a scroll bar, not with the mouse wheel. Occurs in all photoshop versions

It was working on CS3. So I didn't update my photoshop for one year because of this problem. When I press "F" for full screen mode, it overlays the windows taskbar. And I need to see it because i have to check my emails, reply to msn and etc. It's very annoying problem whcih came with CS4 and still in CS5 and 5.1, too. I think CS3's full screen mode is better can i get it back?

This seems to be a regression in the new SVGOMG export module.Here's the source file. Each shape is made out of two rectangles with varying boolean modes (add, subtract, exclude, intersect).This is what Generator exports by default:Setting "svgomg-enabled": false in the Generator config produces the correct output:I realize that merging the shapes fixes the output, but that is not an acceptable solution.

Getting a white border which gets larger the larger the artboard becomes. 10.000 pixels seem to be the border where this problem starts happening. My prototyping device is an iPod Touch with Retina display which resembles an iPhone5. The Artboard is also 640px wide.

Just wanted to provide feedback that there is a bug in Photoshop 2017 when viewing a file on Photoshop stretched across two monitors. I am using a 2010 Mac Pro with two 30 inch Apple Cinema Displays running separately on two ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics cards. The image repeats when placed between screens. This issues does not occur on the 2015.5 version.

In CS6 the feather preview gets almost invisible when working with low opacity. Is there any way getting the preview showed in 100% opacity even tough I have it on, say 4%? Like it used to be in previous versions.

Photoshop CC 2015's Scrubby Zoom feature doesn't work properly anymore after installing Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Merge to HDR Pro fails on large images with no error reported. it appears to work up until the preview exposure is set. A good preview of the final output is shown. After completing the merge the output is just solid black. A ~21,000 x 5000 pixel image with 4 images in the stack failed. When I reduced the size to 25% it worked. Here are sample PSD file and simple script that iterates through all top layers and make them invisible. In case there is a LayerSet script call merge() to it before making it invisible. The problem is after calling merge() to LayerSet_1 already processed and invisible Layer_1 become visible again. The issue is only occur if Layer_1 is selected when script is launched. I've been using the new imac retina, and i have enormous problems with the performance of Photoshop. If i for example use the selective color correction, this does not run smoothly. Other functions also work delayed. I noticed if i do not use Photoshop in full screen mode, everything goes back to normal. A friend used the predecessor model imac without 5k resolution, but has no problems. I suspect Photoshop has problems with the resolution of 5k. I hope Adobe fix this problems because Photoshop works slow and delayed, the performance is terrible. I bought the retina iMac 5k, since my previous mac is getting old and slow. But now is it so, that my new retina iMac, run equal slowly as my old iMac. Adobe please fix this problems, so i cannot work.

Photoshop CC 2014.2.2 Release. I'm having an issue where any new gradient I create defaults to 0o angle, and cannot be changed. I've tried restarting the computer, restarting Photoshop, purging all cache, and changing graphics settings. Nada. Steps to reproduce: • File > New • 500x500px @ 72ppi, RGB 8 bit with Square pixels • Select Rectangle tool, draw a box shape on-screen • In options bar at the top, change fill type to gradient • Gradient defaults to 0o. Any attempts to change result in the angle immediately resetting back to 0o. • Attempt to double-click thumbnail preview in layers panel to bring up gradient modal. Changing angle here also does nothing. This is an issue I've noticed intermittently since CS6. It's not always reproducible, and sometimes the issue goes away on its own. I work one block away from the Adobe office in SF, happy to come in with my computer to show this in person.

Vanishing point export to .vpe and opening in After effect is not possible any longer. Since Photoshop CC 2014 the PNG files are not right. I cannot open them in Photoshop as well. I tried it on 3 different computers. Is this a bug?

With the new Photoshop CC 2015.1 update, all my documents (including new ones) open at 50% zoom size, even if they fit on the screen when at 100% Please fix.

Changing smart object comps isn't visualy same in parent and child document. Installed OS-X Sierra and now Photoshop 15.5.1 crashes when attempting to print. Print dialogue opens and settings can be modified, but when attempting to print PS crashes perhaps 9 out of 10 attempts. Most frustrating. I'm printing to an Epson 7890, but I have seen the same issue cited for Canon. Adobe support told me that Photoshop has not been tested on Sierra, but in reality Adobe has had Sierra for months and have even published known issues. I pay a ton of money for this thing to work and this nonsense from support is very annoying.
