I'm having issues duplicating a group of smart objects to a different document; when I do the links break and I am no longer able to edit one and have the changes made to all instances of the smart object. I only seem to have this problem in the latest version of Photoshop CC. On my laptop at home, I have CC but an older version, and it works on that, and a friend tried it on CS4 and it worked for him, and it also works fine in CS6 when I tried it on there. To reproduce: 1. Create a new document (Doc A) in version 14.2.1 of Photoshop CC. 2. Make a rectangle object and convert to a smart object. 3. Duplicate this smart object a couple times and make sure you can see them all. Now you should be able to double click to edit and make a change to one of these objects and have it change across all instances (change the color or something). 4. Create a new document (Doc B). 5. Duplicate the smart objects from "Doc A" to "Doc B". 6. Editing the smart object in the same way no longer makes the

Translation Issue - Portuguese BR The white balance/color temp mode "Daylight" is poorly translated to "Horário de verão" which translates to 'daylight savings' not 'daylight'. The correct term (as used in prior versions of PS) is "Luz do dia".

When trying to save a processed image to file from Photoshop CC, I receive the following message: Could not save C\users\home\.....\005.jpg because of program error. How does this situation get resolved? I have no plug-ins. Am using Windows 7 Ultimate, i3 Intel processor, 16G G Skill RAM, more than adequate for the program.

Issue: Setting Key Repeat in the System Preferences to Off results in buggy behavior with layer opacity and brush opacity shortcut. Steps to reproduce:   Go to System Preferences, then to Keyboard   Under the Keyboard tab, go to Key Repeat, and slide the slider to Off.   Go to Photoshop CC and open or create a new document.   Select a layer or create a new layer with some visible content in it.   Make sure the current tool is not a brush based tool; the marquee or move tools are good tools to select at this point.   Select the newly created layer in the Layers pallet   Press the 0 (zero) key on the keyboard once. In Photoshop CC, when I use the line tool to create a 1px line, it creates a vector path that looks complete but actually isn't. One of the corners is unconnected and it is an incomplete path. This is a pain in the butt because with the new direct selection of anchor points, there is a lot of clicking of individual anchor points. When the one isnt connected, it requires a second action to get that line to move or look correct. I figured that this was not desired functionality as It does not happen when using the rectangle tool. I am not sure if this has been reported here or what, (I assume so) but I figured I would post it up here because it is annoying me very much 🙂 Fix plz?! Thanks, -Andrew

Duplicating a non-visible vector shape layer in Photoshop CC using the Ctrl+J shortcut creates a new empty layer which is now visible. Duplicating by dragging the layer onto the New Layer icon works fine. Duplicating Pixel layers via the keyboard shortcut works fine too.

Steps to replicate: - Create some text - Transform it - Change character tracking (now is showing a incorrect value ) - If you introduce a value like -400, Photoshop gives you an error panel several times. - If you create a new text, the font size is reduced drastically. Are we going to wait until CC2 to see this solved? I applied several times to enter the Photoshop Prerelease Program, but nothing. I would like to help you with this kind of bugs. This things make me work slowly. Did you really test your products with real designers?

Here's how to reproduce this problem: 1) Draw any vector shape 2) Add another path to the same layer (e.g with "Path Operations" set to "Combine Shapes") 3) Resize the document Notice how all the paths besides the one you drew last (i.e the one that's been selected) stay in the same place. And this doesn't just affect the current layer since Photoshop remembers path selections. This is obviously not expected behavior and has already stopped me from using CC the day after it got released, so a fix would be great. Also, again, in pictures — before and after resizing:

Hello! Writing from Spain. I want to report a problem in the spanish version: When I safe a file in photoshop for web (images+html) the program translates images as "imágenes"; that means that when it creates the folder "imágenes" where all the images are saved for the html, I have to take out each time the accent in the "á" and link again all the images to the html file because it doesn't work with accents.

Photoshop CC will only scan once through "Import Image from Device" feature. The second time I try to scan, the window is nearly blank and provides no preview, almost no user options, and no way to proceed. To make another scan, I have to quit Photoshop and re-launch. Photoshop CS6 doesn't have this problem. (But I can't have Photoshop CS6 running without Photoshop CC also launching.)

Photoshop CS6 - When I load the file I link, turn on the visibility of Layer 1 and try to save, I get an error dialog with the message: "Could not save “Bug.psd” because of a program error." I had a more complex file to start with, and pared it down as much as possible. I was able to recreate the bug on another computer by recreating the same image. After selecting a layer while filtering by name then disabling the filter, the selection isn't visible. The layer palette returns to the previous state instead of displaying the layer that I selected (and presumably found entirely by using the filtering) with its parents expanded

I use MBP Retina 15 inch running on OS 10.8.2. Im a cloud subscriber. Main monitor is Dell 30inch Ultra. I recently updated to Photoshop CS6 13.1.1. I am retoucher in a photo studio and i"m 99% in full screen mode. My problem is that when I go to FSM, OpenGL gets disabled!!! If I close PS and relauch OpenGL functions are again available. This only started after updating to 13.1.1, worked fine before update.

I'm using PS CS6 on a retina MBP, OS X 10.8. Under System Preferences > Keyboard, I have the option "Use all F1, F2, etc keys as standard function keys" checked. In photoshop, when I press Ctrl+F2 (the OS X shortcut to activate the menu bar), photoshop overrides this and brightens the interface color. There is no way to change this in the photoshop preferences. Please add functionality in the preferences to change/disable the keyboard shortcuts for interface color!

I have a text layer with a layer effect defining a shadow. This shadow is set to white with 25% opacity. Now I choose "Copy CSS". I would expect the code to say something like "rgba(255,255,255,0.25)", but instead the output is "rgb(255,255,255)" – or, a solid white color. If this tools is supposed to be useful to designers and front end developers, this needs to be fixed in order to be a tool and not just a gimmick. With Edge, Adobe is moving forward, but if Photoshop relies on RGB and not RGBA for the export, is not a step in the right direction.

In Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.1 if the background layer is dragged to the little "add a mask" icon the program throws up a dialogue box reporting"Could not complete your request because of a program error." This is different to earlier versions where trying the same thing show a little "no entry" icon over the "add a mask" icon. The error message is confusing and the situation of showing the "no entry" icon as per previous versions needs to be restored. By the way the same error message shows up on two computers so it is not an error caused by a particular machine (both are Macs).

Hi, I'm experiencing the following issue. 1. "Snap Vector Tools and Transforms to Pixel Grid" is on 2. When I, creating a new shape (rectangle or ellipse etc ...) and hold SHIFT (to do a perfect square or circle) the shape I'm creating is not aligned to pixel grid as it should be. 3. When I change the canvas size, or reveal all for a document that has a smart object in it(with puppet warp applied), the raster mask for the object itself clips to the bounding box of the smart object. I get that this is probably because of the Puppet Warp, but an annoying bug none the less. I had an action set to reveal all my document to prep my files, and notice that my document got messed up.

I tried on two different machines os windows 7 it in acrobat 8, 9.51, 10.1 versions, also pdf document version from 1.3 to 1.7. Problem: when choose "Edit object" tool, choose image>right click>Edit image. Image opening in photoshop CS6, after any editing for example change color model, saving and closing, in acrobat position of image changes, often to bottom and left corner of document. If do such actions in Photoshop CS5, everything is ok, position of object after editing is constant Thanks in advance and good luck

There is a disastrous File Save (mis)behavior when an AI file is opened using "File > Open As Smart Object". When editing is complete, the expected behavior on Ctl-S or File > Save is for Photoshop to open the "Save As" dialog, as it does when e.g., a jpeg has been modified in such a way that it is no longer a valid jpeg. What actually happens is that the PSD is saved over the AI file, using the same file name including the .AI extension. The result is an "AI file" that is actually a PSD. It opens in Illustrator as a raster image. The original AI file is gone. This is a disastrously bad bug. The only workaround is to revert the Photoshop document to its Open state, open the Vector Smart Object (which is identical to the original AI file) and save THAT with the original file name, but this definitely is the wrong behavior in this situation. I'm amazed no-one has run into this earlier (including me); it's been in the program since at least CS5.

If you have a create a group with at least one layer, then change the Fill of the group to anything other than 100%, that value isn't saved for the next time that you open that file. It remembers the opacity, paint type (pass through is default), and any style effects put on the layer, but it doesn't remember the Fill setting. I found this in the beta and an adobe employee said it would be fixed as soon as possible... it's still not fixed. It's not a critical bug, but I wanted it documented that it still exists. PS CS6 has a lot of enhancements and great features. it launches very fast, and the control is very responsive and smooth. although i am experiencing some speed issues with very large files. compared to CS5.1, where i don't have any of these issues. the files are PSBs, 9000x8000px, 80+layers, RGB, 8bit i have the same performance settings for both, cs6 and cs5 i am working on MAC PRO, 16GB ram, SSD scratch, 2TB raid, Radeon HD 5770, Snow Leopard. the main issues i have are: - no refresh when i move the curve on adjustment layer. the refresh comes after i let go. - jagged pan - extremely slow moving of layers and layer groups, even if they are with smaller dimensions (800x400pix) again, working with files with less layers or smaller dimensions is very fast. thanks for your help and support! m.
