Bug Reports

This bug occured when I had open an image with a resolution of 766 px by 10 px, and I was working in the typical 8-bit RGB colorspace. I had the pixel grid enabled, and I was zoomed in at 4853.72%. I opened the Color Range selection tool, and when the selection preview was set to "Grayscale", an extra row of the pixel grid appeared underneath the image, without a bottom edge. None of the other selection preview options engender this visual error.

There seems to be an issue with Photoshop 2023, which the Perspective Warp tool makes the images appear upside down. It is only after approval that the images resume their orginal position. ie Correct way up.What is going on?   Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b x64   [confusing typo fixed by mod]

On many occassions I'm having images I open up in Photoshop camera RAW look like something from the Matrix movies. My first question is, has anyone else seen this and how did you fix it?I've tries some suggestions about performance settings, but they never seem to have a lasting effect.I'm not really interested in a "what OS, what version, what camera RAW file, etc..." conversation. Somebody else has had to have this happen and I just can't find a Q&A that has the answer.Examples below. With the final image being what it looks like in other programs RAW.

Issue: I am working in AdobeRGB and have a smart object (B) with a displace effect on it. When I update the displace effect, everything works as expected, but when I wrap it into an new smart object (A) and save this one the displacement is gone. I think it has something to do with the color space, because when I tried it in sRGB it worked. Photoshop version: 26.1.0OS: 15.0.1Steps to reproduce: Create a smart object with a displace effect on it Open smart object and save itThe displacement is gone. Expected result: The displacement keeps working when I update the smart object.Actual result: The displacement disappears after updating the smart object.

Since an update to Photoshop 25, on Windows 11, in June '24(not sure of exact version), the 'file info' dialogue box is appearing off the bottom of the screen. The file info window used to be a landscape rectangular box, but since June '24, it has changed to a  portrait rectangular box, with the 'Preferences', 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons off the bottom of screen. The only way to access the buttons is drag the title bar to the top of screen. This is extremely disruptive to editorial photographers workflow, who have to caption every image separately.  The issue still persists in the very latest Photoshop 26.0, months later. Only workaround I can come up with is to revert to Photoshop 25.5.

Recently I've been trying to use camera raw to adjust clarity and texture. Without modifying white balance, color or temperature it changes the entire image to a dull and grayish image.  Even if I don't change anything, by going into Camera Raw changes the color.

In Photoshop's latest version, when you select a regular rasterized layer, go to layer properties, and select more you get options or actions on that layer.  It works the first time you use this.  But then if you have another rasterized layer, even if it is on a different document and you go to layer properties and select more, Photoshop opens a new blank document.  The only workaround is to close Photoshop, restart it, and then select your new regular rasterized layer, and the "show more" works correctly for one time only.

The new Photoshop 26.1 crashes when using the Remove Tool. More specifically, when the "Removing Area" loading bar appears, the application closes before it completes. I tested with the AI mode both "on" and "off", and the issue occurred in both cases. The crash is not immediate, as the tool sometimes works without problems, but the error has been consistently recurring across multiple files.I'm running Photoshop on MacOs Sequoia with a M2 Mac. On preferences, changing the Remove Tool Processing from "Faster" to "More Stable" didn't make any difference on the issue.

Photoshop's last 3 updates, I have noticed after the last three updates when closing photoshop. and then trying to open it again within like 10 minutes it will not load  I have to go into task manager and manually close it.. this is painful    Windows 11 all updated, dell 5620 laptop and 16 gigs of ram

It doesnt matter what I select, this menu keeps popping up. How do I get Adobe to quit spamming me with this?

When enhancing an image with Filters, I often use the Oil Paint filter with wonderful results.Lately when I click Filter: Stylize: Oil Paint - - - and apply that filter to my image it produces, in addition to the filter process, an odd black line within an hoizontally squeezed duplicate of the original image with obvious edges, inset at the left side.  This has happened multiple times with multiple different original images and I get the same result each time I use that Filter.  Images below.Ann KMaggieRossDogs

Hello,I have contacted customer support which directed me to the Community Forums so hopefully someone will be able to help. Context:Around the end of 2022, I downloaded Ps cc2018 (v19.0.0) as well as the Creative Cloud app through a licence provided by my school (as part of my studies), on my computer currently running macOS 10.13.I have just finished my studies, and therefore the creative cloud license from my school terminated early July (07/07/2024). Therefore, I decided to pay for the Photography plan which allows for a desktop version of photoshop. I started the "free-trial" (7-days) and payed for the plan. The Ps cc2018 app launched as usual, asking me to sign-in and showing that I was on a free-trial. When the free-trial ended, I was still able to use the app - something I expected since I had already payed for the subscription (and received a confirmation email). Today while working, due to some lag, I decided to quite Ps cc2018. On relaunching the app, the PDApp laun

(4+ files)Window -> Arrange -> 4-UPa: Open new file into windowspace of active window.b: Change active window between the 4-up windows.4: Expected result-If docked, the windowsize remain constant, unless user actively resize the window. When shifting between active windows/workfiles, the windowsize remain constant unless user actively resize the window. Image stay at the chosen size percentage as per users setting (i.e. if it opens at 100% zoom, that's fine, but if I set it to "fit screen", or "x%" it should stay there when changing active window).Actual result-Every, single, time that a new active window is chosen, whether because a new file was opened, or because a new active window was chosen, the 4 windows on the screen are resized. The resize makes the active window fit as much of the physical screen (the display) as possible towards the 100% zoom view. The image also defaults to 100% zoom. I have posted about this previously, but perhaps someone has new sugestions.   I am shooting mutiple exposures of the same fixed image. The images have been taken on a Canon 5D Mk IV on a sturdy tripod with a remote shutter release at the same aperture. I use BBF to reduce any in camera movement.    Because I want to blend those images, I need to ensure the frames or layers are all 100% aligned.   As I shoot and edit a lot of images, I like to speed up my worklow as much as possible by creating preset 'actions', and Auto Align Layers is one of my 'actions'.   Before I apply this preset, and when I zoom in on the 3 layers, all 3 appear aligned. However, when applying >Auto-Align Layers>Auto this misalignes the layers (see attached images).   'Nudging' as as been suggested before is time consuming.   All suggestionss for a solution welcome.   Mac OS Ventura 13.1 PS v.24.1.0 attached images at 400%

Trying to export an image with an element that has a drop shadow but it keeps exporting with a border around it through the export for screens function in jpeg format. Using artboards and I have about 50 assets. Have tried exporting to png but photoshop crashes each time. Image exported:Image inside artboard:

I am receiving a pop up entitled "Update to access generative AI" that appears about 15 seconds after I first start Photoshop and a seemingly random interval of minutes thereafter. The first pop up will appear with or without my interaction, but the Photoshop window must be active. Intervals average about five minutes, and the shortest was 3 minutes and 6 seconds. The longest was about a half hour when I was multitasking with other programs.   Pressing the X only temporarily dismisses the pop up. Clicking on it causes the pop up to stutter for a moment before simply disappearing for another few minutes. It will also go away on its own after a few seconds before eventually returning.   I'm using Photoshop 24.3.0 20230316.r.376 37b4b38 x64 on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045   I have tried: -Turning off Rich Tooltips -Resetting preferences -Uninstalling and Reinstalling the same Photoshop version -Upgrading to Photoshop 24.4.1 and downgrading to Phot

Today Photoshop was updated to v26.0 (Photoshop 2025), but as happened previously there an error in colour pallette, as you can see: The white simply isn't white, but cyan. This error happened also when the version 2023 was updated to 2024. As happened in previous version, the support suggested to install the old version until the proper correction was made. So until this new version be update, I installed the previous version, and you'll can see the colours are correct:By the way, this isn't an issue of my computer neither the video card (nVidia GeForce RTX 3050) I ask the support to see what's happening with the new Photoshop's version v26.0 released today (October 14)

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing consistent crashes while using the Remove Tool in Photoshop. Every time I try to use the tool, Photoshop shuts down and I get an error report window (screenshot attached). Here's what I've already tried:Updated Photoshop to the latest version.Reset Photoshop preferences to default.Updated GPU drivers (NVIDIA/AMD).Disabled and re-enabled the Use Graphics Processor option in Preferences.Allocated more memory to Photoshop via the Performance settings.Tried running Photoshop as an administrator.Tested different image files to see if it was a file-specific issue.Reinstalled Photoshop but the issue still persists.System Specs:OS: Windows 10 Photoshop version:  2024 v26.0GPU:  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (NVIDIA)RAM: 16 GBProcessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHzAdditional Notes:Other tools in Photoshop seem to work fine, and I’m only encountering the crash when using the Remove Tool.I have enough disk space, and I've also tr
