I made a ton of layers with Generative fill and long scripts (maxed out the characters in the script box in some cases). These layers then get labeled with the script I put in.  I went to export all 50 layers through the "Export As" option. When it got to the layers with the super long name, the system simply stopped. No warning, no indicator.  I finally figured out it was the layer name that was the problem. When I renamed the layer to something simple, the export worked.  Now, we're talking 40-50 layers I'm trying to export. There is no "Bulk Rename Layer" option, and like I said, I was not given any warning or indication the process stopped.  I would figure the Export option was renaming, because I had a few layers with the same names, and it just put a number after it.  1. Recently my Healing Brush Tool has starting lagging to the point where I simply cant use it. Spot Heal and Cloning work fine.  I use the Alt key to sample an area and then paint an area but it only samples here and there as if its trying to compute what I am tryin to do. I have purged my Cache. My filters have suddenly stopped working in the latest version of Photoshop.  I have attached screenshots. Does anyone know why this is happening? I have a Mac 15.0.1 Sequoia with an M1 Chip, and I use Photoshop 26.0.0

arched text not working - this menu is not appearing!! not even on previously arched text although it is still arched from an old save. desperate help pleaseAdobe Photoshop Version: 25.12.0 20240903.r.806 055f5e9 x64

Hello ! Just like the title say, i have been experiencing on the recent versions, i tried to delete and re-import less brushes. it does happen on any kind of brushes. a simple round or a custom one with many textures and parameter activated.  

I have an issue when opening Illustrator and Photoshop. When opening, the apps seemingly disable my mouse and keyboard form working, this is across all apps. The only solution is to unplug and replug them. This works intermitently however after 30 seconds or so they freeze again and need to be replugged. I have uninstalled any addition software such as tablet drivers etc. Updated all my mouse/keyboard drivers and reinstalled PS & IL and reset the preferences and updated all PC drivers etc.  This is running on windows. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and can lend a hand? From looking around I'm struggling to find a solution.  Thanks

Hello everyone, Today, I ran into an issue with Photoshop's "Blend If" function that I haven't encountered before. I searched online but couldn’t find any clear explanation, so I’m hoping someone here might know what's happening. System  I am using the latest version of Photoshop on Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2. The Issue When I apply the "Blend If" (underlying layer) option to a layer within a group, it works fine—until I clip any layer to that group. As soon as there's a clipped layer attached, "Blend If" stops working on that layer, regardless of whether the clipped layer is visible or hidden. Example Setup Imagine two groups: Group 1 and Group 2. There's one layer in each group. I use the "Blend If" setting on the layer in Group 1, and it works perfectly. However, as soon as I clip a layer to Group 1, the "Blend If" effect is disabled. I've attached a video below that demonstrates the issue for more clarity. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I installed the 25.12 update and immediately encountered two, for me significant, problems.  My Logitech MX Master 3S customizations for Photoshop no longer work and when running my custom scripts that invoke a crop, the crop frame is not visible.   I reverted to 25.11 and everything is OK again.     (subject edited for clarity)    

After updating to the latest version of Photoshop (26.0.0), use of the remove tool only works for very small selected objects.  Anything of any size causes the program to crash.  For example, if I have a power line running all the way across an image, if I select it in pieces, remove works.  If I click, then shift click to select the entire line, it crashes the program.  I've sent numerous crash reports.  In desperation, I have uninstalled Photoshop, restarted the machine, and am reinstalling as I write this.  We'll see if this helps. I'm running on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit machine different from the one I'm using to post this message

Create a new canvas. New layer. Draw a rectange with the selection tool and have the sides of the rectangle extend off the canvas at the left and right side. Fill the selection with black.  Select and delete the left half of the rectange. De-select. Now try and resize the remainder.  It's transform box is extended way off the canvas, as if photoshop doesn't recognise that half of the rectangle was deleted.

MOV files do not appear in photoshop, there is a checked box once imported? This feature used to work but not sure if it is a MAC or adobe update.when using the 'save for web legacy' feature, photoshop will crash or when this does load, it shows a red/pink square. I cannot use this feature to create animated GIFs. Can anyone reccomend an alternative or ways to fix this?    

Since the update to version 25.9, my File Info screen (CMD+OPTION+SHIFT+I) has changed from Dutch to English. How do I get this back in Dutch? The rest is still working in Dutch, so something went wrong with the update?

I'm going slightly mad right now. I can't get to use Radial Blur at all. Not even on a plain image, not ona rasterized layer, smart object, absolutely no way on Earth. Using a MacBook Pro 16" with M3 Max 128GB, on Sonoma. Please help, I'm really hating this so much. Just updated Photoshop to 25.12.0 and it still doesn't work. Jeeeezzzzzzzzzz.... and it didn't work on 25.9.0 neither."The operation could not be completed."I tried absolutely everything. Even a 720p image...Radial Blur is completely broken, AND I NEED IT....omg.

Adobe just did an update for Photoshop. I downloaded and installed. And all of a sudden my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse lost its thumbwheel functionality to change brush size. That is a function that MANY creatives use on their mice. I don't understand how they could get rid of that. I have now reverted back to 2024 and it works again. Please fix. And I will start using PS 2025. Thanks.

Hi there, I'm experiencing a bug on one of my machines with Photoshop. Option to select a cloud documents when trying to open through File -> Open, doesn't exist (Neither for Open As or Open as smart document). I can see my cloud documents on the home page and open my previously opened cloud documents, so I'm just lacking the button in the Open window.  The bug is on Photoshop 2024 and 2025. I'm running on Windows 11, Threadripper 2950x, RTX2080.Any thoughts or ideas?   Cheers  

Hi everyone,I am having a strange problem with Photoshop:I import the RAW file from Lightroom (say "_869547-1234.DNG"),I rename the file using the 'Save As' command (say "_869547-1234-HDR_a-1.PSD", same path), thenwhen I later use the 'Save' command , Photoshop just saves the file name with the original file name ("_869547-1234.PSD") but keeps the correct extension (as if I had never renamed it).The weird thing is that I can see there are now both files saved in folder (the "_869547-1234-HDR_a-1.PSD" I creat at point #2 and the "_869547-1234-HDR_a-1.PSD" one, created at point #3).How can I fix this?I use:Photoshop 26.0Lightroom Classic 14.0macOS Sonoma 14I'd appreciate any help in fixing this annoying problem that forces me to go through the process at point @#2 every time I need to save the file to avoid the renaming problem.Thank you in advance for your time.

When moving an artboard to another position it takes forever and the software freezes... minutes roll by before a moved artboard does anything, if at all... please look into this !!!!!

After working for five years , when trying to process NEF/RAW  files, it buffers then crashes. I have dealt with Photoshop directly on the chat. After a couple of hours they confessed that they couldn't solve it. They got me to uninstall and download again, but it didn't work.  The exception code is  Oxc0000409. Any ideas?

I’m trying to use Photoshop on my iPad Pro for the first time, and I can’t open a 1GB document. I keep getting the message: “Could not open ‘Presentation’ because the device does not have enough free space.” This doesn’t make sense, as I have 400GB of free space on my iPad Pro. I bought this iPad Pro specifically to work with large files, and it’s frustrating not to be able to open the document. Does anyone know what might be going on or if there’s a fix? Hello everyone, I'm facing a problem with Sky Replacement. It won't track anything.It's just making the sky picture, with the layers. But all white masks.I think it has to do something with the new version of Photoshop 2025.Do other people face the same issue? Because I can't think of anything else I could have changed.

I just found 2 bugs in PS 2025 (v 26.0.0): 1. I can not close a document (saved) with the keyboard by "command + w" when no tool is chosen. I have to choose a tool first (any tool) and then the document can be closed with the above keyboard command.2. having the brush selected with the preferences set to "show normal brush" the cursor changes every second between the brush (circle) and the normal arrow (for 1/10s). Even when no finger is on the trackpad and no mouse movement is indicated. It just keeps blinking. PS 2024 does not show this behaviour on the very same machine. Anybody else?

So I had the latest Illustrator Beta installed. Photoshop stated "Illustrator is damaged" when double clicking on a smart oject. I Uninstalled the Iustrator Beta, now it's saying "smartobjectxy.ai could not be found" when double clicking a smartobject, even though Illustrator 23, 24 and 25 are installed. How do I tell Photoshop to open them with another Illustrator version?

I  was promised that this bug would be fixed in the next release of Camera Raw!! There has been a new release of Camera Raw BUT THE BUG HAS NOT BEEN REMEDIED.  I have waited since June 11th to get this remedied as I can process and print my files the way they appear in Camera Raw! Here is the bug reference they sent me Sept 17th. PS-139111
