In latest update 24.1 and previous update of Photoshop, whenever I open Liquify photoshop crashes after I hit ok, even if I don't make any liquify changes. I'm on Windows 11, with a 3970X 32 core CPU, RTX 3090 with the latest Studio Driver and 128gb of ram.
I am trying to open photoshop and the program is frozen on "Adding extension... Halide Bottlenecks" has this happened to anyone else and is there any way to fix this problem...I am working on a deadline and need Photoshop to open as soon as possible... Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I can't access my cloud documents after updating my photoshop to the latest version, and I keep getting this message "Can't load cloud documents. Something went wrong. Please restart your app and try again."
Hi there.... I use the Macbook Pro 16" Apple M1 Max with 32GB RAM. After updating the macOS 12.5.1, I found out that I couldn't open/import the jpg and raw file in photoshop (but I can open/import jpg file in Ai...)Once I open the photos with Photoshop, it will crash... (and I even cannot open Lightroom...) Can anyone tell me what's happen... I've tried to use previous version before but not work.
Hello all, I have this problem with Photoshop where it crashes upon opening one specific file. The crash report is attached below. I'm not at liberty to share the PSD file at this moment. Not sure if this is related, but it is worth noting that in the crash report, the Nvidia GPU seems to be detected as offline, which seems wrong as: It shows up correctly in PS under Settings / Preferences / Performance I have double-checked the Nvidia settings to make sure PS is set to run on the Nvidia GPU I have double-checked the Windows graphics settings to make sure PS is set to run on the High performance (Nvidia) GPU Being a dev myself I can get a few clues from the crash log, but nothing to save my life. As I said so far I know this is a division by zero exception that occurred in a call to boost::archive::codecvt_null<wchar_t>::do_max_length (according to stack trace), which is AFAIK a function related to serialization in the Boost C++ lib. This tells me
I am on the current version of Photoshop on my iPad. I can slide the brush hardness up/down, but the tool is not displaying the correct hardness. The brush works correctly when I'm actually painting, but I rely on that display icon. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I reset the preferences in the app settings. Like I said, the brush works, but just really want this visual cue back.
In the Material view, groups such as Material Properties, Substance Properties, Positions are always expanded and cannot be collapsed even when we click on the down arrow at the left side.
So after a clean install of Windows 10, all the latest updates and the latest updates for PS 2020, I was hoping this would be fixed, but it's still an issue. In PS 2019, I open a high res TIFF, and go to: Select -> Select Subject. In about 2 seconds my subject is selected. Perfect. In PS 2020, I open that same TIFF, Select -> Select Subject... and... waiting... BSOD. Every time. What's worse is it even crashes the BSOD and it just hangs on 0%. My Spec: Win 10 Pro 64 i9-7940X 64GB Ram 1TB 970 Pro GTX 1080 Ti
Cmd+J duplicates a layer (group). When doing Cmd+Opt+J on a layer, I get a popup to name the new layer. When doing Cmd+Opt+J on a layer group I don't get the dialog, it just duplicates the group, as would Cmd+J. I think this is a bug?
In V22.0.1 the eyedropper sampling ring is missing. Toggling the checkbox in teh options bar does nothing. Resetting preferences does not resolve. Windows 10 v20H2 and NVidia RTX2080ti driver 456.71 The tool works correctly in v21 and earlier on the same system Dave
Using macOS (latest version) on an iMac Pro. Changing the opacity on a PSB freezes up the program for 5 to 10 minutes at a time where you cannot do anything in the program. No spinning beach ball, just stuck on the arrow with no ability to cancel, exit, or do anything. Just started after I updated. Super wierd, but problematic. {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hello, Long time user, 25 yrs profesional retoucher. Discovered a random little bug today I thought I'd pass on. Using PS 2023 24.1.1 on various Macs, all "up to date" etc.The bug is this:If you make a marquee selection over a Smart Object you can then "move" those pixels by selecting the move tool and then using the keyboard shortcut arrow keys on the keyboard. I also was able to "move" some pixels and then even transform them wtih "command T" All of this is on a smart object layer, not an open smart object. Basiclly "editing" a smart object that isn't open. Not sure if I can post a video if my discription isn't clear enough, and happy to pass one on if needed.Cheers
Hello there1. Photoshop V 24.12. PC window 10About 3 photoshop updates ago (roughly 5 months ago), I used to be able to convert video to smart object then use filter > camera raw filter to add some minor adjustments to it then go to file > export > render video. However, now it just stops the rendering process EVERYTIME at about the 35% ~ 40% mark and not giving me an error message or anything. The video is obviously unuseable since the rendering process is not completed. Can you please take a look to see what happen? Is this a bug or am i forced to rolled back to the previous version in order to do this? This is a huge draw back for me since all I wanna do is adding some minor adjustment from camera raw filter to my video before rendering it. Any suggestion to overcome this issue would be greatly appreciated. I also attached my rendering setting below.Thank you,Nick
Hello, When modifying the name of a mask in Camera Raw, if the pointer goes out of the area of the "input text", the name is not editable because the "input text" loses focus. So to be able to edit the name of the mask, I have to double click the name of the mask, and let the mouse hover the "input text". If I just move outside the pointer, focus is lost and I can't write.Thank you
I want to say up front that this issue isn't (necessarily) Adobe's fault, as it's clearly an issue with Pantone's ACB color book datbase file. This is specific to the Pantone Solid Coated & Uncoated V4 ACB color book files. They were exported with the (no longer available) Pantone Color Manager app. In any file in Photoshop, in the Channels panel, choose "New Spot Color." From Color Libraries, choose the Pantone Solid Coated (or Uncoated) V4 color book. Type in "Rhodamine" to select Rhodamine Red. Before you even click "OK," take a look at the Channels panel — it will list Rubine Red. You literally cannot select it. The Pantone libraries (formerly) distributed by Adobe (the Pantone+ series and the older, lowercase versions) do not have this issue. I'm posting this here because this issue would not exist if Photoshop was not dependent upon maintaining a live reference to an installed ACB color database file for spot channels chosen from that book.
Bonjour, lors de la création de calques, l'icone est toujours une demi lune. Le calque n'a plus son icone de type de calque. Merci pour votre retour.
When selecting a layer and dragging a corner handle with the shift (or alt-shift) key pressed, the resize proportion isn't constrained. This started with this most recent update.
When using Save As (PS 23.0.0 and Monterey 12.0.1 the focus is not in the file name field. When I click into the field and type one character the filename extension (i.e., .jpg) gets added and the cursor goes to the end of the extension so I end up with filenames like "p.jpgrestofname" Seeing the same thing in Lightroom when printing to a JPG file (screen shots attached). So I've been able to use Median before many times but now the minute I use it, Photoshop crashes and it says it's found a work around but then sends me to a vague link where I've done most if not all. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-crash-or-freeze.html?trackingid=W2T7JV6Q&mv=in-product&mv2=ps M1 Ultra - 64 GB of Ram, 2TB of Storage Photoshop 22.3.4 Mac Montery 12.4 Cintiq 22HD for my screen & Studio Display
When trying to open an EXR file in Photoshop (24.1.0) after 'Open EXR Read Options' modal (regardless of what option was selected) Photoshop freezes. Can't overcome, reboot doesn't help. MacBook Pro 2019 macOS Monterey 12.6
Hi there! How to off new feature? Now for deleting layer i should press "Delete" twice - first for mask, second for layer. How can I fix that? I need deleting layer and mask together.
With the Gradient Tool selected, the layer selection popup doesn't show when I hit CTRL-Right Mouse. It works with other tools like Brush, Eraser etc.
HiPhotoshop 24.0.0, macOS 13.0.1. Photoshop closes immediately whenever I try to tick the 'Decontaminate Colours' checkbox after refining with 'Select and Mask'. Does anyone have any idea on fixes? Thanks
