I am haveing a problem, when opening cr3 files the raw is being cropped from the bottom of the photo
I have to manually disable this optionSteps to replicate it:Open Photoshop, create a new file and create a shape; Open the menu “View”, so “Show” and see that Target Path is enabled; Try to transform the shape, it will transform just a invisible bounding boxIt keeps turning on after you restart the app. I already reinstalled PS to see if it fixes the bug, but was not the case. Also, the proprieties panel is locked at the “Shape” propriety and I have to manually fix it. Hi-In Photoshop 25.12 on Mac 14.6.1 going into the history flyout panel to "New Snapshot" no longer opens the additional options box for selecting current layer. Instead, a new overal snapshot is produced like it would be if you clicked the little camera icon at the bottom of the palette. Any idea if something has changed?
OS: Latest Windows version.Photoshop: 27.3.1GPU: RTX 5070, latest driver. When using the Symmetry Tool to draw, the mirrored side doesn’t seem to take some brush settings into account and redraws an off-looking line, but brush path and stylus pressure sensitivity is still correctly mirrored. This is always true for both vertical and horizontal symmetry, but somehow redraws a perfect looking line in the opposite corner of a Dual Axis symmetry. Same for Mandala symmetry.Right side is the OriginalTop Right is the OriginalThe only exception is the Radial symmetry which reproduces perfect looking lines. Though I’m guessing the “nice looking lines” are only rotated, not flipped/mirrored.The bad looking results get worse the smaller the pixel size of the brush is. Top Right is the OriginalMy pen input is represented by the right hand (or top right hand) side of each screenshot, using a 4px size brush (except for the horizontal example where I used a 3px brush to emphasize that pixel size matte
Good morning everyone, out of the blue, Photoshop now saves WEBPs in 16bit only. This happens from any kind of source (PSD, JPG, PNG with or without alpha, CMYK TIFF with or without layers) with any WEBP compression, with Save As (for files that allow it) or Save As Copy.Source files are all 8bit.I first noticed the problem in version 27.4.0; I reverted back to 27.3.1, and even to 26.11.3 (which I was sure didn’t had this problem), and the problem still occours. This has been tested on multiple computers, all running Windows 11 24H2 (26100.7781); Windows and drivers are managed by IT, so there isn’t much I can do about those.Any help is appreciated.
Hi, been using PS for over 25 years. After upgrading to the latest version of PS (27.4.0) it seems that Adobe is changing the dialog boxes on the Mac to look a bit more ugly and less "Mac like". Things like the dialog box font has changed to whatever smaller and ugly font Adobe is using in PS and not matching the Mac OS font as it has been for many years. It is just not a nice looking interface.Additionally in the new Apply Image dialog box (and others), it no longer remembers the previous values from when you last used that command, which was really useful and constant feature since PS 4.0. This even worked when you quit the program and restarted but now this is broken. Please lets retain useful functionality.
This issue is making me nuts! When I save a file I'm working on, if I have documents open in floating tabs, the one I just saved goes to the back of the screen and a random floating tab that I'm not even working on pops to the front of the file I AM working on. It's forcing me to reselect the file I was just working on and this is very frustrating since sometimes I'll accidently do something to the file that just popped up in front wihtout realizing it. This seems to be a bug, it's never happened before and there's nothing in the preferences that addresses this. Video attached. (I need to work in floating tabs since I'm often dragging and droppping from one file to another. Consolidating all my windows every time I need to save is not a realistic workflow for me.
Just updated to latest version of Photoshop, version 27.0.0 on Windows. For some reason generative fill using either Gemini or Flux Kontext Pro is not working. I make a selection In the contextual task bar I click on Generative Fill I select either Gemini or Flux I type a prompt (can literally be anything) Photoshop shows the progress bar and it creates the Generative Fill layer. But at like 50/75% of progress the progress bar suddenly disappears and the generative fill layer also is gone. No errors, no crashes, just .. as if it never happened. Firefly generation works just fine. I have tried different images, from scratch, different prompts. It doesn't matter, the 3rd party generative options simply do not work for me. I have also installed the Photoshop beta just in case, and that has the same issue unfortunately. What can be the cause? Is there some place where I can check logs for any possible errors?
When the detailed Layers panel is open, it sometimes obscures the image I’m working on. The usual 2-finger-drag gesture to move the image on the screen doesn’t work when the Layers panel is open. Workaround is to close the Layers panel, move the image with a 2-finger drag, and then reopen the Layers panel, which isn’t an ideal workflow. Thanks for listening.
After selecting download, the loading bar goes to 68% and doesn’t move anymore. After pressing cancel, this message appears.
After updating to the latest version of Photoshop, we encountered an issue where images saved from Facebook from the previous year display color distortions when opened in the program. However, images saved recently from Facebook open without any issues and display correctly.
The Content Credentials (beta) panel is not showing in the Window menu. I can still search for it in the search bar, and it points to the Window menu though. When I open the panel (via search), it displays the following error message:The help page documentation says that the preferences/settings for content credentials can be found alongside History in Settings/Preferences. However, there is no longer a content credentials option there. Was Content Credentials quietly killed off and there are just some breadcrumbs left or is this a bug?
The newly added modern user interface does not preview when using “apply image”. It also does not save the last known state/settings of apply image like it has in the past. This means if you are doing multiple apply images you have to select your settings every single time which is a huge pain. Please fix this so preview works and last used state/settings is saved or keep this options in the preferences so I can turn off modern user interfaces. It’s great Adobe wants to modernize the UI. Just make sure it works the same as before. To replicate the issue: Step 1. Open an RGB image.Step 2. Duplicate Red channel and Green ChannelStep 3: Select duplicated green copy channelStep 4. Go to image - apply image and select these optionsLayer: mergedChannel: Red copyBlending Mode: AddOpacity 100%Check invert boxTurn on and off preview Issue: The image will not show the preview of what is being applied when checking and unchecking the box. Only hitting ok shows what apply image will do. I have GP
I’m on photoshop for web and tried to edit the brightness of the image. When I click and drag the slider, the slider starts to jump around randomly without me moving my cursor. Once it starts glitching, I’m not able to reset the brightness. I had to refresh the page for the issue to go away. I was able to replicate the issue multiple times in a row.
When editing a text layer that has layer effects applied (specifically Gradient Overlay with “Align with Layer” enabled), intermittent rendering glitches occur. While modifying the text content, the entire layout may flicker.Steps to Reproduce: Place any background image on the canvas. A detailed image makes the glitches more visible compared to a solid color fill. Select any font and type some text. Interestingly, the appearance of the glitch depends on the chosen font. Apply a Gradient Overlay as a Layer Style to the text layer and enable the “Align with Layer” checkbox. Now try moving, scaling, or duplicating the text layer before double-clicking it to edit the text. 😅You will notice visual glitches. If no glitches appear, change the font and repeat step 4.
While using the Gradient Tool (PS 27.3.0) on a Layer Mask, Mode set to Multiply, this doesn't work properly now.The work around- I have to create a new Group of my layer then add a layer mask and set Gradient Mode to Normal in order to for this to work. This bug is new since I updated PS to 27.3.0
Dragging a photo from outside the window into an object frame in Photoshop will default to whatever the top layer aligns with the cursor rather than the layer that is currently selected. If two object frames are overlapping and I want to drag an image into the lower one, this will not work. If I attempt to drop an image into the 3x4 group frames, my image will instead be placed inside the 1x2 group frames that overlap. I cannot get my image into my desired frames without moving my 1x2 group beneath my 3x4 group.
There’re a black layer on the web. So I cannot click anything on my photoshop screen
I noticed, that when I use a camera raw filter with masks on a smart object, the masks in this filter move when the document is cropped in photoshop. 1. Version of the app Adobe Photoshop Version: 23.5.0 20220809.r.669 0e07917 arm64 2. Platform an OS version OS: Mac OS 12.4.0 Architecture: Apple M1 Max, HybridCPU(8:2) 3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem create document with object add camera raw filter to the smart object add masks ins camera raw leave camera raw use crop tool to enlarge image edit camera raw filter masks should have moved. 4. Expected result and actual result Results can be seen in the images below. I would expect the filters to stay where I placed them The first two images show the initial image without cropping. As you see the skymask in the second image ends exactly at the tees The second two images show the document after cropping. The image is extended towards the sky to reveal m
When I try to unmask on the mask layer using a white brush, nothing happens. However, masking with a black brush works perfectly. I am using PS on Ipad Pro 2020
@Sameer K ...its happening again. My iPad updated and now photoshop is crashing again since yesterday. Please help!
In the latest version of Photoshop, the Swatches panel has a much larger minimum height and can no longer be reduced as compactly as before. This limits workspace flexibility and forces the panel to occupy unnecessary vertical space, especially when working with multiple stacked panels.
I have tried just about everything to get this to work. I am not sure when exactly it stopped working but I am guessing during one of the updates for some reason that got screwed up. It works on all my home computers and my work laptop but not my desktop. I have unistalled and reinstalled, tried less up to date versions, turned on and off the screen recording for photoshop in my settings, restarted my computer, none of it has solved the problem. This is so frustrating and I haven't found anyone else having this issue besides people that forget to turn the screen recording button as I mentioned. Also I should mention with all my other Adobe products that fuction works just fine. If I am missing something here please let me know because I need a solution to this madness.
Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.8.1 20250624.r.8 5e0d05d x64 Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit, Version 10 10.0.19045.5965 Steps to reproduce: - Record an action that creates an adjustment layer (Levels or Curves) and set it to non-default values. - Run the action. The recorded values are not applied. Expected result: Photoshop should apply the values I recorded in the action Actual result: Photoshop does not apply the values I recorded in the action. The resulting adjustment layer stays at its default values. Additional information: - This behavior works as expected on the earliest version of Photoshop I could test, which was Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.2.0 20210202.r.183 2021/02/02: a176e5849fa x64. - I am unable to upload a sample action as an attachment as it isn't allowed. - The 'Set current adjustment layer' step seems to work as expected for other adjustment layers, such as Exposure.
